Renzille, Kreios, and Leira walked down the spacious halls of the mansion, their footsteps falling softly on the carpeted floors.
After a day filled with shopping for Crane and the commotion at the orphanage, the group found themselves on their way back to their own quarters.
Renzille walked beside Kreios, and Leira trailed just behind, a troubled expression on her face.
Just as Renzille and Kreios were approaching their room, Leira's voice cut through the air, causing them to halt in their tracks.
"Little sister." She called, her voice echoing. "Could we have a chat in my office for a moment?"
The married couple turned back to find Leira standing there, a hint of a frown on her face, causing Renzille and Kreios to exchange a glance, sensing the wariness in her voice.
"Of course." Renzille replied with a nod, turning away from her husband.
