Chapter 42 - Chapter 42: Discussion

Fugaku Uchiha, who had been quiet for a while, once again approached Rakawa.

He wore a smug smile and an expression of disdain.

The person who had previously made him lose face was no longer a threat. Believing he had grasped the ultimate leverage, he desperately wanted to laugh out loud to vent his past anger.

Rakawa merely glanced at him and continued looking at Mikoto. "Mikoto, did he threaten you?"

Mikoto's body trembled. She didn't look at Rakawa but stared intently at the desk in front of her, her shoulders shaking slightly.

Rakawa frowned deeply. What exactly had happened? Why was Mikoto acting like this? This matter must be related to Fugaku Uchiha.

"Miko..."

"Hey!"

Fugaku Uchiha blocked his line of sight, his face full of mockery. "Mikoto is not a name you are allowed to call her. Perhaps, referring to her as the Uchiha Young Madam would be more appropriate."

"Hm?"

Rakawa's pupils constricted. What did this guy mean?

Kushina Uzumaki was completely confused. How did Mikoto suddenly become the Uchiha Clan's Young Madam? That didn't sound right.

Mikoto's body also shuddered violently. She clenched her small fists tightly, keeping her head down and remaining silent.

Rakawa understood the situation somewhat. "Speak plainly."

Judging by Mikoto's behavior today, something must have changed since yesterday. Yesterday, Mikoto was laughing and chatting with him, yet today, there was such a massive difference. And, Young Madam?

Fugaku Uchiha smiled smugly. "It means Mikoto is about to become my wife. Furthermore, the wedding will be held after graduation. By then, she will be the exalted Young Madam of the Uchiha Clan, not someone you, a person of your caliber, can aspire to."

The meaning was clear. Before Rakawa could speak, Kushina Uzumaki couldn't hold back. She slammed her hands on the table and stood up. "What? Mikoto is marrying you? Are you kidding me? Are you really trying to eat swan meat, you toad?"

Fugaku Uchiha's expression changed instantly at her words. He snapped, "Kushina Uzumaki, do not go too far."

"What if I do go too far? If you're unhappy, come and hit me. I'll go report you to the Hokage then."

Dragging the Hokage into it, this Little Chili Pepper Kushina Uzumaki was truly fearless. She showed no fear toward As the Uchiha Clan's young leader standing before her.

Fugaku Uchiha, having been called a toad, darkened his face. He knew a little about Kushina Uzumaki's background and naturally dared not be too reckless. Offending Kushina Uzumaki was equivalent to offending the Hidden Leaf Village high command and Uzuna Uzumaki. Someone would certainly stand up for her.

Meanwhile, Rakawa's mind raced. This must have been a decision made by the Uchiha Clan after Mikoto returned last night, and Fugaku Uchiha was certainly behind it.

If so, that explained Mikoto's massive change in attitude.

Mikoto was a member of the Uchiha Clan, but she was just an ordinary girl and had not attracted much attention.

Moreover, her status within the clan was not high, so it was naturally impossible for her to defy the decisions of the clan's high-ranking members.

Being born into a major clan, this was her fate, a destiny she could hardly change.

Everything made sense now. Rakawa took a deep breath, looking directly at Fugaku Uchiha. His eyes flashed with cold electricity, and he said indifferently, "Fugaku Uchiha, I hope your dreams come true. Perhaps, there is some possibility."

Rakawa finished speaking, stood up, and left. His face was expressionless, and no one could discern his inner thoughts.

Fugaku Uchiha didn't doubt him and called out to his retreating back, "Remember, don't bother Mikoto again. She is my fiancée."

"Oh, is that so?"

Rakawa's light reply drifted back, and Fugaku Uchiha's face instantly turned black. This bastard, this bastard was annoying no matter the time.

Hiashi and Hizashi exchanged glances, shook their heads, and followed him out.

Kushina Uzumaki let out a heavy snort. "A toad is a toad, hmph."

She then dashed out. However, Fugaku Uchiha was currently too absorbed in his smugness to pay attention to her words.

Only Mikoto looked toward the doorway, heartbroken. Tears welled up in her beautiful eyes, and the frequency of her shoulder tremors increased.

Fugaku Uchiha felt a surge of displeasure when he saw this. He said coldly, "Mikoto, this is the family's decision, and you must obey! What? Do you intend to defy the family's orders? As a member of the Uchiha Clan, you must have the spirit of dedication to the Uchiha Clan. This is your fate, and it can never be changed!"

He snorted angrily and left the Classroom as well.

After he left, Mikoto could no longer hold back. She buried her face on the desk, and tears dripped onto the floor.

"Rakawa-kun, I'm sorry, I'm sorry. I cannot, cannot disobey the family's orders," she whispered.

Mikoto, the gentle and delicate beauty, couldn't help but cry.

...

Late at night, inside Hinata Senyō's room.

"Kid, are you sure you haven't made a mistake? Are you really going to do this?"

"Of course. Fugaku Uchiha has provoked me again. Now, I have no reason not to slap him in the face."

Rakawa still maintained his calm demeanor, but Senyō could clearly see the hint of monstrous rage in his dark eyes.

Hinata Senyō fell silent. After a long silence, he finally said, "If that is truly your intention, then I won't stop you. But this matter needs careful discussion. Until things are settled, you cannot make a move against Fugaku Uchiha, or it will be easy for others to seize leverage."

"I know. I will keep it suppressed."

Rakawa finished speaking and left Senyō's room, a cold smile playing on the corner of his lips.

"Fugaku Uchiha, since you want to play games like this, don't blame me for being ruthless!"

Hinata Senyō watched his retreating figure, feeling somewhat worried.

"Sigh, it seems this storm is about to begin. Rakawa, since this is your decision, I, your uncle, will not stand idly by. I won't let you suffer any injustice!"

He muttered softly, then raised his voice. "Please summon the Elder Council."
