Just 11 years before this incident,
A 5-year-old boy, with black hair and blue eyes, is playing in a garden without any fear alongside his 2-year-old sister. His caring Mom and brave Dad sat on the corner of the garden. Suddenly, his dad unsheathed his sword. He informed his wife that he could sense some faint killing intent. They moved their kids inside their home and locked them in. Suddenly, the 5-year-old boy could hear some sounds of slashing and healing. But suddenly, he heard his mom and dad crying in pain. He tried to break the door, but he couldn't do it. He cried a lot. He slammed his fists against the door until his knuckles bled, his sobs shaking the silent room. His sister tugged his sleeve, eyes wide, mirroring his fear.
The small boy, Adam, waited with her sister, Thalia, for someone to open the door. At last, the Warriors of Light came to rescue them. When Adam came out, he saw the dead bodies of his parents. It was in terrible condition, with a crow scavenging on them. He didn't know what happened to them. But the Warriors around them talked about the Demonic bastards who attacked them. He looked around his Hometown, Margia. Not even an ant lived. He and his sister are the lone survivors of this incident. Fully corrupted Demonic beasts attacked their village. The warriors of light arranged the funeral for the entire town. As the lone survivor of his Hometown, he took an oath to slay demons until the day he dies. He packed his stuff, his father's sword, and their family photo, along with some dresses. He carried his sister and moved out of Hometown with the Warriors of Light.
The Warriors of light took him to the Holy church of light and handed him over to the Pope of the church of light. The Pope of the church of Light welcomed them warmly. Beside the Pope stood a pretty girl named Clara. Adam thought her to be younger than him because she looked like it. The girl welcomed them with a smile. Then the pope went to meet the Warriors of light. Clara asked about him. She took pity on him. She also said, "You look pretty strong. Let us see whether you can enter the Greatest academy of the whole continent, the Ruthenia. And then she took them to the orphanage run by the Church of Light. Many other young children were also there who had lost their parents to the Demonic Humans.
He and his sister were allotted to the same room along with 15 other children in a 10*10 room. In the evening, he went with his sister to get supper. They were given some rice and potatoes. He peeled the potatoes for his sister. But suddenly, someone hit his head hard. He fell. The peeled potato fell on the ground. He turned back to see who it was. It was the orphanage thugs. The leader of the thugs demanded, "Drop it down and run away. Or else you are dead meat." Adam's sister, who stood besides, cried that she was in hunger. Adam had no other choice but to fight with them. He got ready for the combat. He tried to land the punches and kicks, but none connected. They tried to land some punches and kicks. All landed on him. At last, he was beaten to a pulp. When he was about to faint, the Pope intervened in the fight between the children and ordered the thugs to return to their dorms and then to return their food.
The Pope explained, "Those kids are from the military school of Warriors of Light. They are trained to save you from bullying. But they even started bullying. I will discipline them tomorrow." And left. He was brought to the Infirmary, and the wounds were dressed. He thought and tried to convince himself, "Hmph. They overnumbered me. Or else they are dead meat now." He completed his supper and went to rest in his dormitory. But he couldn't rest. Even though he convinced his heart he couldn't convince his brain he thought, 'couldn't even defeat a member of the thugs and also beaten to pulp, then how could he fight with the Demonic bastards?' He went out of the dorm. He saw multiple children aged above 7 were training, and some of them were slacking off. He got impressed by a few guys' bodies and wondered if he could do it too. Suddenly, he got an idea to sneak inside the training hall of the trainees of Warrior of Light and look at the methods of training they use to train their bodies and minds to fight.
