Chapter 25 - Chapter 25 The Tower of Heaven

The day after completing the job in Rubinas City, Kenichi, Erza, and the others took the train back to Magnolia Town.

"Revived!"

Natsu, who had just gotten off the train, raised his hand and shouted excitedly.

Happy behind him also imitated Natsu's action and shouted: "Aye!"

Erza, walking at the back with Kenichi, Gray, and Lucy, seeing Natsu go from being a lump of mud one second to full of energy the next, couldn't help but shake her head.

Not long after everyone left the train station, a blond young man in a black suit walked directly towards Kenichi and the group.

The blond young man acted as if he didn't see Natsu in front of him, walking straight into him.

Fortunately, Natsu dodged quickly, otherwise they would have really collided.

"That guy..."

Natsu stopped and turned to look at the blond young man.

Happy asked: "Natsu, do you know him?"

Natsu shook his head and replied: "No."

Then, under Natsu and Happy's watchful eyes, the blond young man walked up to Kenichi and the others and stopped.

To be precise, he stopped in front of Erza.

When the blond young man raised his head, Erza's pretty face changed dramatically, and she exclaimed in a surprised tone: "Sho?!"

And the blond young man also said to Erza: "Long time no see, Sis!"

'Sis?!'

Hearing this address from the blond young man, Lucy and Gray were both stunned.

"Erza, is this your younger brother?"

Gray looked at the man named Sho and asked Erza with surprise.

Erza didn't answer Gray's question, instead showing an expression of having difficulties speaking.

This was the first time Gray had seen Erza with such an expression.

Since Erza didn't want to talk about it, Gray didn't press further.

Perhaps Gray and Lucy didn't know this man named Sho…

But Kenichi did.

Although Sho called Erza 'Sis', he was actually just a childhood companion of Erza's-

It's similar to the relationship between Natsu and Erza now.

In the original work, when Erza, Lucy, and the others were vacationing at the beach, Sho, Simon, and the other childhood companions of Erza suddenly appeared and directly captured Erza, taking her to the Tower of Heaven where Jellal was.

Although the time and place where Sho appeared before Erza now were somewhat different from the original work, Kenichi could confirm that Sho was definitely here to capture Erza.

After confirming this, Kenichi didn't hesitate and immediately activated his Sensory Magic.

Soon, Kenichi sensed that quite a few mages with considerable magical power had gathered nearby.

'Jellal, finally making your move, huh?'

Just as Kenichi was thinking this, a man with a headscarf not far away directly activated his magic.

[Darkness Magic: Dark Moment]

The moment this person activated his magic, the system's mechanical prompt sounded in Kenichi's mind.

[Ding, congratulations Host, obtained Magic Power attribute +5]

At the same time, the space where Kenichi, Erza, and the others were located plunged into pitch blackness, and they couldn't see anything.

"What's going on?"

"I can't see anything!"

The moment they lost their vision, both Lucy and Gray were startled.

And the man named Sho took the opportunity to activate his Card Magic.

His Card Magic could trap opponents in a card space.

It seemed he intended to first seal the three troublesome people… Kenichi, Lucy, and Gray, into the card space.

The darkness came quickly and left just as fast.

After a few seconds, the darkness instantly receded.

Erza regained her vision.

The moment her vision returned, Erza scanned the surroundings.

Seeing that Kenichi, Lucy, Gray, and Sho were all safe and sound, she breathed a sigh of relief.

Although Erza was relieved, Sho was looking at Kenichi, Lucy, and Gray with a shocked expression.

"What's going on? Why didn't my magic activate?"

Just now, in the darkness, Sho had already activated his Card Magic on Kenichi and the other two.

In Sho's view, Kenichi, Lucy, and Gray should have been sealed into the card space by his magic.

But now, Kenichi, Lucy, and Gray were standing before him completely unharmed.

This unexpected outcome naturally greatly surprised Sho.

The reason Sho's Card Magic didn't activate was, of course, due to Kenichi's Spatial Magic attribute.

Like Erza's Requip Magic, Sho's Card Magic belonged to the spatial magic category.

In Kenichi's presence, his Card Magic naturally couldn't activate.

But Erza and Lucy didn't know what Sho was so surprised about.

They only saw a pile of playing card-like cards at Sho's feet.

Soon, under Erza and Lucy's watchful eyes, Sho's figure was sucked into Kenichi's space.

"What's going on?"

Lucy, seeing this familiar scene, immediately looked at Kenichi.

Before Kenichi could answer, Simon, Milliana, and the other people familiar to Erza all closed in around them.

"Simon, Milliana?!"
