"Why are we heading in this direction?" Reina thought out loud, trying to catch her breath. She has been living in this facility for eighteen years and she could tell these twin brothers that this direction was taking them to the storage room.
Didn't the older Alpha say they did not have any time before the building blew off? Then why are they going in this way? Shouldn't they be using the private elevator to ride up to the surface?
Reina panics, she could still hear the heavy footsteps running after them.
Royce doesn't utter a single word as he spares Omega Reina a deep glance, taking her in suspiciously when something familiar hits him.
"Who is she again?" Royce asks Ryker as he pushes the storage shelves down, kicking off the cartons that were lined up against the wall. When he was done clearing the space, a vaulted passageway came into view.
