Chapter 26 - Seoul, South Korea

After being disturbed by Inoue Izumi, Lin Hao had no more thoughts about that matter. If he had shown even a little interest, given Inoue Izumi's behavior, she probably would have immediately gotten into bed and let Lin Hao do as he pleased.

Inoue Izumi looked at Lin Hao with a resentful expression and watery Big Eyes, but Lin Hao resolutely sent her out of the room.

The next day, when Lin Hao woke up, it was already noon. Last night, because he had won 2.2 billion us dollars, he was so excited that he stayed up all night and suffered from insomnia. He should have known better than to send Yang Qian'er or Inoue Izumi away. If he had vented his energy on them, he probably would have gotten a good night's sleep.

Lin Hao got up and took a shower. When he came to the living room, Inoue Izumi was already there.

"Lin Hao-jun, good morning," Inoue Izumi bowed to Lin Hao after seeing him.

"It's not early anymore, it's almost noon."

"Lin Hao-jun is leaving today, so Izumi naturally has to serve you well."

Lin Hao smiled when he heard Inoue Izumi's words. Inoue Izumi's service these past few days had indeed been very good, leaving Lin Hao very satisfied. After thinking for a moment, he took out a stack of money from his bag. This was money he had exchanged after coming to the Island Nation, originally intended for convenience, but he had ended up using cards for everything. The cash remained, so he took out ten thousand us dollars.

"Take this," Lin Hao handed the money to Inoue Izumi.

"Lin Hao-jun, I can't take this. These are all things I should do," Inoue Izumi quickly refused when she saw Lin Hao giving her money.

"Don't misunderstand, didn't I win 100 million us dollars? There's a saying in China that everyone who sees it gets a share. The others who were with me also got some, and thanks to you these past few days, this is just a small token of my appreciation."

Lin Hao was telling the truth. Since he had won 100 million us dollars, he naturally had to show some gratitude. It wasn't good to keep it all to himself. Of course, the others would be given their share after they returned, and it wouldn't be this much. The money Lin Hao gave Inoue Izumi wasn't a lot, but it wasn't a small amount either. It was just enough to improve her life. Any more might not be a good thing for a girl like her.

Hearing Lin Hao say this, Inoue Izumi still refused to take it. Finally, Lin Hao forced it upon her.

They were going to South Korea today, and everyone's belongings were already packed. After lunch, they took the car arranged by the hotel and went to the airport.

At the Yokohama airport, Inoue Izumi saw Lin Hao off with red eyes. Although they hadn't spent much time together, Lin Hao treated people very well.

"Lin Shao, did you sleep comfortably last night?" Yang Qian'er walked up to Lin Hao and asked teasingly. She had seen clearly in the morning that Inoue Izumi had come out of Lin Hao's room, looking radiant, which clearly indicated she had been 'moistened'.

"Very comfortable," Lin Hao knew she had misunderstood when he heard Yang Qian'er's words, but he didn't explain and just said comfortably before walking into the airport.

Yang Qian'er heard Lin Hao's words and clenched her teeth in frustration. They had been in that situation last night, but it was suddenly stopped, leaving her in an awkward state. She hadn't slept at all last night and ended up using her hand...

Inside the international flight from Yokohama to Seoul, Lin Hao sat in the first-class cabin and immediately asked for a blanket to sleep. He hadn't slept until late last night and was extremely sleepy now.

Seoul International Airport, Lin Hao got off the plane. The match was over, and it was time to get down to business. The World Cup final was the most important part of this trip abroad, but now that he was in South Korea, he had serious matters to attend to.

Shilla Hotel, a five-star hotel belonging to the Samsung Group, had already arranged a special car to pick them up. The private butler was a tall, delicately made-up South Korean girl. He didn't know if she had undergone plastic surgery, but the probability of her not having gone under the knife was extremely low. In South Korea, especially for girls, most undergo plastic surgery by the age of 18. There aren't many who are completely natural.

"Hello, Mr. Lin, I am your private butler, Kim Soo-ah. Welcome to Seoul," Kim Soo-ah respectfully said to Lin Hao in English.

Before coming, she had already seen Lin Hao's information and knew he was Chinese, but she couldn't speak Chinese, so she had to speak English. In this regard, she was a little better than Inoue Izumi.

"Let's go back to the hotel first," Lin Hao yawned. He hadn't slept much on the plane and was still a little sleepy.

"Okay," Kim Soo-ah said and proactively opened the car door for Lin Hao to get in.

On the way back to the hotel, Lin Hao saw that Seoul still had a strong World Cup atmosphere. This year's South Korea-Japan World Cup had really put South Korea in the spotlight. They were the first Asian country to host the World Cup and the first to reach the semifinals. Although international opinion said that South Korea got there through biased refereeing.

But the South Koreans didn't think so. They all believed they reached the semifinals through their own strength.

Kim Soo-ah, sitting in the front row, saw Lin Hao paying attention to World Cup-related things and proactively started introducing them, full of pride and national self-confidence.

South Koreans are very sensitive, even more so than the Japanese. This is because they were a tributary state of China since ancient times, were colonized by Japan in modern times, and established their country with the help of the United States.

That's why they desperately want to prove themselves, but they lack historical depth, so they can only start with China, plagiarizing a lot of Chinese culture.

"I want to rest," Lin Hao's voice interrupted Kim Soo-ah. Lin Hao didn't want to listen to her introductions.

"I'm sorry, Mr. Lin, I've disturbed your rest," Kim Soo-ah said apologetically.

Lin Hao closed his eyes and dozed off until they reached the hotel.

In the presidential suite of the hotel, Lin Hao sat on the sofa, with Yang Qian'er and the other four, plus Shen Yuxuan, standing in front of him.

"We have serious business in South Korea this time. You guys go investigate the game company Webzen first. They developed a game called Miracle MU, which should be very popular in South Korea. Yuxuan, you go too. The translation work will depend on you."

Shen Yuxuan's spirits lifted when she heard she had something to do. Before, in the Island Nation, she basically had nothing to do except for helping with translation on the day they went out. The rest of the time she was idle. As for Lin Hao calling her Yuxuan, it seemed like Lin Hao called everyone very affectionately, but it still made her a little happy inside.

"Okay, Boss," Shen Yuxuan happily agreed.

After Lin Hao gave his instructions, the few of them went down to collect information about Webzen. Lin Hao came to South Korea this time for Miracle MU. When he was reborn, Lin Hao was thinking about how to make money. In 2002, if you were to say what was the most profitable, games were definitely at the forefront. The most popular game in 2002, The Legend of Mir, was from South Korea. However, making games required capital, so Lin Hao turned his attention to the World Cup.

It just so happened that South Korea was one of the hosts of this year's World Cup. Unfortunately, The Legend of Mir had already been licensed by Shanda, but there was still the popular game Miracle MU.
