CHAPTER 11
Now dracan still lay on the floor, shadows coiling around him like living tendrils. Damn it!! Shit!!! Fuck this I need to do more... More magic.. then whoosh his shadows enveloped Lily completely, flowing over her body in an attempt to heal her from head to toe. Every movement of his shadows was precise, every thread of magic meant to repair the damage her body was sustaining. But nothing worked
Fuck why isn't this working he mustered to himself
Her body burned. Literally, like a star igniting from within.
Lily screamed a piercing, high-pitched scream that shook the room.
"AHHHHH!!!"
Dracan's eyes widened. His hands trembled slightly as he stared at her writhing figure.
What is going on…!? he whispered, panic rising.
How is this possible!
Her body burned faster, the flames of energy inside her refusing to be tamed. Each second, her own energy rebelled against the healing magic, forcing it out violently.
She screamed louder.
"AHHHHHHHHH!!!"
Damn it! he thought, clenching his fists so hard the shadows around him pulsed with tension. He had no choice now. Every ounce of energy he had would go into healing her, no matter what.
He poured everything into her he's Dragon eyes glowed and his mana flowing like a river, intent on stabilizing her burning body.
Then something unexpected happened.
The healing magic connected with her soul. And in that instant, Dracan was no longer in the apartment.
What is this place...
Darkness surrounded him. Absolute, crushing, endless darkness. The room, the walls, the floors all disappeared. He could feel Lily, only Lily, but even that was overwhelming.
Where… am I?
Just then a low growl echoed from the void. Dracan froze. Slowly, he turned.
What he saw made his heart skip a beat, then skip again.
A giant blue fox stood before him. Six tails swirled with purpose, radiating power. Its fur shimmered like waves of pure light, and the air around it vibrated. Every movement it made was precise, elegant, and terrifying.
GBIM!
Dracan's chest tightened. His heart raced. Impossible… how…?
One glance at the fox and he knew. This was no ordinary creature. This was divinity itself. It was Rajah.
How!!
Rajah… how is Rajah here!?
The fox snarled, its six tails twirling in unison, radiating immense energy. The darkness around them shifted, bending to the creature's will.
Lily screamed again.
"AHHHHHHHHHH!!!" The void cracked. And the force of her scream threw Dracan out of the soul connection entirely. He stumbled backward, gasping for air, his mind struggling to comprehend what he had just seen.
Impossible… Rajah has never bonded with a human… her power… her power is too vast for any human to handle…
Lily screamed again, louder this time. Her body was like a furnace and he noticed it ..this wasn't mana it was spiritual energy bursting outward in uncontrolled waves. Dracan stumbled back again, struggling to maintain control.
How does a human weild spiritual energy!!
Shit! Shit! She can't handle this! She'll die if this continues!
He rushed to her side, desperately casting another healing spell. Shadows wrapped her like a protective blanket, absorbing the energy radiating from her.
This explains why she's burning… Shit! Shit! I'll personally drive her out of her own body if I have to… he thought, determination hardening in his chest.
Then.....WHOOSH!
A swirling gate opened in the apartment. The air tore and whistled as the portal formed, shaking the entire room violently. Papers flew, furniture rattled, and the floor quaked. The portal's energy was enormous, overwhelming.
Dracan lifted his gaze, recognition flashing in his eyes.
Renji-sama…
He glanced down at Lily, who was still writhing violently on the floor.
"It's okay… you're going to be fine. My Lord is here," he said softly, his voice trembling despite his calm demeanor. "It's going to be okay… he'll save you."
Then everything went black.
GBIM!!!
The presence that emerged from the portal made the room shake again. The aura was so strong, so immense, it completely overshadowed Renji's power by tenfold. Dracan felt the raw energy pressing down on him, suffocating, almost impossible to breathe in.
From the gate, three figures stepped forward.
Renji. Sakura. And Arin.
Dracan's body froze instantly. Recognition and awe flooded him.
Renji's mother… the Mother of all Creation… the one who created everything… she's here…
Renji gasped as he looked down. Lily's body was burned reddish from the inside out. She lay trembling on the floor, her skin glowing faintly from the residual energy coursing through her.
Renji and Sakura screamed in unison, panic in their voices:
"LILY!!"
They sprinted toward her. Renji's aura flared violently as he rushed, showing the intensity of his anger and fear. His aura pressed against the walls of the room, shaking it slightly.
Arin, calm and composed, observed. She didn't panic. She understood immediately what was happening to Lily. Her eyes, golden and sharp, took in every detail.
Renji knelt beside Lily and reached out.
"Lily!!" he shouted, trying to touch her.
But when he did, the heat from her body burned his hands, sparks of energy flaring against his skin.
Lily screamed again, the sound cracking the air.
"AHHHHHHHH!!"
Renji's eyes blazed, his aura now fully engulfing the area. Dracan could feel the power radiating off him, hot and sharp like fire, anger and desperation intertwining in a dangerous mix.
Sakura knelt beside Lily and began chanting a healing technique. Her hands glowed, weaving a golden thread of energy over Lily's body. Her chant was careful, precise, and calm, trying to soothe the raw energy surging from her.
Dracan opened his mouth to speak.
"It's ra—"
But Arin interrupted, her voice soft yet commanding.
"Calm down, Januza. She's just happy to see me."
Renji's eyes widened. A thought struck him suddenly.
Wait… is she talking about Rajah? he wondered, narrowing his eyes.
Arin stepped closer. She bent slightly, her hands hovering above Lily's head.
"It's okay, Januza," she said, her voice gentle. Then, firm. "Enough."
The word struck like a thunderclap. Lily's body immediately responded. The flames within her receded, the burning sensation fading.
Her chest rose and fell evenly. The intense heat that had threatened to consume her was gone. Lily had passed out from the sheer strain, but she was alive.
Renji and Sakura lifted her carefully, holding her close.
"Lily!!" they shouted, relief flooding their voices.
Arin bent down slowly toward Lily, her expression softening. Her golden eyes shone with calm authority.
"It's okay," she said. "She's going to be fine."
She leaned closer, so close that her face was near Lily's. A gentle smile spread across her face.
"It's good to see you too, my old friend," she said.
Dracan exhaled, tension easing from his shoulders. He hovered nearby, still ready to act, but for the first time allowed himself a small sigh of relief.
Renji looked at his mother, holding Lily gently, his heart swelling with awe and gratitude.
I… I owe my life to her… he thought silently. He pressed his face gently against Lily's hair, whispering softly.
Sakura, kneeling beside them, wiped tears from her eyes. She was trembling, still in shock at the immense power and presence of Arin.
Arin, the Mother of Creation, stood over them...divine, terrifying, and yet calm and comforting. The overwhelming aura that had dominated the apartment moments ago had vanished, replaced with a sense of safety.
And though the room felt calm now, the faintest hum of magic lingered in the air. It reminded them that were no ordinary day..
