Murmic looked absolutely furious. Both of his hands were clenched into fists until they trembled; his face was incredibly red and his eyes appeared watery because his emotions had reached their absolute limit. Hardim, seeing that his brother was about to explode, immediately stepped forward and grabbed his shoulder.
"Hey, Brother... don't..."
"You can't! You are not allowed to go!" Murmic screamed, his voice booming as he cut Hardim off, causing everyone to instantly turn and look at him.
The atmosphere in the room instantly turned silent. Elmer and Thorena looked at their father with firm stares, as if to say, "I am still going with them to get Lugerna, so don't try to stop me." Ard, Eva, and Luca, seeing a family drama about to unfold, took a step back so they wouldn't get dragged into it. After a few moments in that suffocating silence:
