"That Saint Jaeger is… interesting."
Outside the gates of Impel Down's sixth floor, Akainu spoke suddenly, almost to himself.
"Eh?" Stussy blinked, caught off guard.
Then, as if recalling something, her expression softened and her face flushed slightly. "Indeed… He's completely different from the usual Celestial Dragons."
"This is what a true Celestial Dragon should be like—powerful, noble, ruthless… merciless!"
Shiryu's eyes burned as he stared at the sealed gate, as if he could already see the blood-soaked masterpiece Jaeger was painting behind it.
If the might of the Chaos Dragon Leviathan once filled him with fear… then what Jaeger was doing now inspired nothing but admiration.
That unrestrained slaughter, that overwhelming dominance—this was the kind of existence he yearned to serve. The kind he'd willingly give his life for.
"Truly…"
Akainu nodded slowly. A faint smile crept across his usually stone-hard face. But perhaps because he hadn't smiled in years, it looked strange—almost unsettling.
In his mind, Saint Jaeger wasn't just another arrogant noble. He despised pirates with a genuine conviction. He didn't reject the idea of absolute justice—in fact, he embodied it.
And along the way, he had even spoken to me with respect.
For the first time, Sakazuki felt understood.
Has my time finally come?
For years, the higher-ups in the Navy had called him excessive—too cruel, too rigid. A man willing to sacrifice both civilians and comrades in the name of justice.
But now, for the first time, Akainu found someone who shared his ideals completely.
Tch… these two and their creepy smiles… gross.
Unable to stand the sight of both men grinning eerily, Stussy quietly took a few steps back, creating a safe distance.
As expected, a handsome man like Saint Jaeger really is more likable!
…Huh?
Suddenly realizing something, Stussy muttered, "Wait… isn't Pirate King Roger imprisoned on the sixth floor too? Why didn't I see him?"
"He's further inside," Magellan answered out of habit.
Then his face froze.
A bead of cold sweat ran down his temple.
Pirate King…!
The man who was meant to be publicly executed before the entire world.
"That Saint Jaeger… he wouldn't… No, I have to stop him!"
ZMMM—
Just as Magellan moved to intervene, a blade gleamed coldly against his neck.
Famous Sword: Murasama.
"Shiryu of the Rain!" Magellan growled through clenched teeth, his venomous aura beginning to stir. "Do you even realize what you're doing?"
"Of course I do."
Shiryu took a slow drag from his cigar, exhaling a lazy stream of smoke before grinning darkly.
"Don't move, Magellan. From this moment onward… I pledge my allegiance to Saint Jaeger."
...
Sixth Floor – Impel Down
Thanks to the seastone restraints and Magellan's venom, even the strongest monsters of this hellish floor were left completely powerless.
Jaeger didn't need effort—just a swing of his blade.
Each motion painted the dungeon in crimson, cutting down legends one after another.
He slaughtered a 200-million bounty man known as Bomber Man, earning the Noble Phantasm: Explosion, which could turn other treasures into volatile bombs.
He cut down a bloodthirsty swordsman who once destroyed a kingdom—claiming the Blood-Drinking Sword, a weapon that grew stronger with every soul it devoured.
He executed a 150-million bounty Steel-Cutting Fruit user and obtained a treasure blade capable of slicing through even high-grade weapons—Steel-Cutting Knife.
But… not a single trace of the Blackbeard Pirates was found among the inmates.
Jaeger's luck, it seemed, was miserable today.
After dozens of kills, bounties ranging from seventy million to hundreds of millions, all he'd gained were weapon-type Noble Phantasms.
Unlike the dramatic relics of the Fate world, these ones lacked flair—useful, yes, but lacking spectacle.
The only remotely decent drop came from an Enhancement Fruit user:
a Strength-Amplifying Necklace that doubled the wearer's physical power.
"What kind of garbage luck is this?! What am I, the Hero King of the One Piece world now—hoarding hundreds of useless weapons!?"
His face darkened. With an irritated sigh, Jaeger opened the group chat and dumped every single new Noble Phantasm there in one go.
His frustration was practically radiating through the screen.
[Group Chat]
Uchiha Miyuki: "Ah… yeah, seems like the final quality of a Noble Phantasm really does depend on luck."
Yamamoto Mei: "Indeed. Those pirates you killed were no weaker than Lieutenant General Bone Dragon… but the rewards are far from comparable."
Tohsaka Sakura: "Don't be too upset, Jaeger-nii. That Chaos Dragon Leviathan you got before is already insanely powerful!"
Uchiha Miyuki: "So what you're saying is… Saint Jaeger just spent all his SSR luck on Leviathan and is now stuck in the common loot zone. Classic main-character RNG."
Esdeath: "True, but… there are still a few left alive on this floor, aren't there? Why not keep going, Jaeger?"
Uchiha Miyuki: "I count three left. And they're all big names… heh, looks like the real endgame's starting. Someone get the popcorn."
Kasumigaoka Utaha: "..."
Yamamoto Mei: "...Anyway."
Yamamoto Mei: "The frozen World Destroyer, Byrnndi World. The 'Aloof Red' Patrick Redfield, who once bested Fleet Admiral Kong… and of course—"
Yamamoto Mei: "Gol D. Roger, the Pirate King."
Yamamoto Mei: "If there's any hope of scoring a legendary Noble Phantasm in Impel Down, it's from one of these three!"
Nerona Jaeger: "Agreed."
Uchiha Miyuki: "Wait… what about the Golden Lion? Isn't he supposed to be here?"
Nerona Jaeger: "Not yet. Roger's execution hasn't been announced. The Golden Lion hasn't attacked Marineford yet."
Uchiha Miyuki: "Ah, makes sense."
Uchiha Miyuki: "Still—when he does show up, I'm calling dibs on front-row seats. You are streaming it this time, right?"
Nerona Jaeger: "Don't worry. I won't miss the chance."
Esdeath: "Another legend… the Golden Lion. I can't wait to see what kind of treasure he drops."
Esdeath: "But what I'm really curious about is whether Jaeger can keep fighting. I noticed… after releasing the Chaos Dragon Leviathan, you looked a bit worn out."
Esdeath: "I think you should work on your stamina a bit."
Nerona Jaeger: "Ah… this..."
For the first time, Jaeger's face flushed slightly.
Being told by a woman that he was "exhausted"… that was the ultimate humiliation!
The other women, however, didn't seem to mind.
In their eyes, Jaeger's stamina was already beyond human—beyond anything normal in the world of pirates.
In the dim corridor of Impel Down's lowest level, where the air reeked of salt, blood, and despair, Jaeger's eyes locked onto the final three names on his list.
Byrnndi World, user of the Moa Moa no Mi.
A Devil Fruit so broken it could multiply mass, speed, power, even size—by a hundredfold.
On paper, a god-tier ability.
In practice… its wielder was trash.
Frozen solid. Spirit broken. No will left to fight.
A fitting start.
Next was Patrick Redfield, the "Aloof Red."
A man once spoken of in the same breath as Roger and Whitebeard.
He himself admitted being a step behind them, but even then—his power was terrifying.
No Devil Fruit. Just pure skill.
Even now, old and frail, he radiated the pressure of an Admiral-level warrior.
Killing him wouldn't have been easy, if he wasn't sealed.
Unless Jaeger wanted to unleash Leviathan again and turn all of Impel Down into a crater.
For now, though… Redfield sat quietly in his cell, eyes closed, ignoring the massacre raging beyond his bars.
And finally...
Gol D. Roger.
The Pirate King.
A living legend whose very name still made the world tremble.
Jaeger didn't move toward him yet.
First, he'd clear out the weak.
Whoosh—!
A golden flash tore through the darkness!
The newly claimed Blood-Drinking Sword shot from behind Jaeger like a streak of light,
its blade howling through the air and pierced straight through Byrnndi World's frozen heart.
The ice cracked.
A faint shimmer of red spread beneath the surface…
then silence.
World Destroyer Byrnndi World — Eliminated.
