Oren Kingdom.
The sky was gloomy and dark, with thick leaden clouds accumulating into a grey-black vortex.
The damp, cold sea breeze rustled the sails, and the three warships in the harbor bobbed and swayed with the waves.
Army Commander Frank wore bright white armor, his azure cape fluttering in the wind.
All war materials had been transported onto the warships, and soldiers, neat and orderly, gathered at the port dock.
Reckton, the King of the Oren Kingdom, in the prime of his life, stood on a high platform, full of vigor, his tiger-like eyes overlooking the military formation arranged in a square below, his expression solemn: "Great citizens! Great soldiers of the Kingdom!"
"You are the heroes of the Kingdom, the invincible warriors of the Kingdom! You are the Kingdom's sharp sword and sturdy shield!"
"Days ago, a Kingdom vessel was attacked by Snow Country, and dozens were injured! Even now, no apology has been received from Snow Country!"
Reckton's eyes widened in fury: "As warriors of the Kingdom, tell me, what should you do?!"
"Fight!"
"Fight!!"
"Fight!!!"
Three thousand soldiers shouted in unison, battle flags unfurled, long spears planted on the ground, their voices shaking the sky.
A rumbling wind howled.
"Depart!!!"
Reckton nodded in satisfaction, waving his hand.
Army Commander Frank, with a solemn expression, led the soldiers in formation to board the ships, and just then, he noticed a "black line" on the distant horizon.
The black line rapidly approached, quickly expanding, like ink dripping into a clear pool, staining the sky grey-black!
In the blink of an eye, the black cloud arrived a few kilometers away, dark and dense, covering the sky and obscuring the sun, with occasional flashes of lightning, incredibly terrifying!
Whoosh!
An icy sea wind howled, and layers of surging waves, carrying destructive power, rushed in!
Thunderstorm?
Tsunami?!
Army Commander Frank's pupils constricted, his face turning grim, and he hurriedly shouted: "Tsunami!! Rear guard, become front guard! Immediately evacuate to higher ground!!"
The soldiers looked terrified, but their usual rigorous training immediately showed through; they quickly adjusted their formation and orderly retreated to higher ground.
Boom!!
A massive wave overturned the warships, broke through the dam, and seawater flooded the port streets and urban areas!
Before nature, human strength seemed so powerless.
The tall buildings, under the mighty force of the seawater, were easily destroyed as if made of paper.
Many residents who hadn't managed to escape screamed in panic and despair, swept away by the seawater, carried into the distance; the street stalls were nowhere to be found.
On the high platform, King Reckton's face was overcast with changing expressions, meters of seawater surging below his feet.
Even standing at a height, he could feel the tremor of the seawater rolling over the streets.
A few minutes later, the seawater gradually receded, and the panicked people walked onto the messy streets, treading on mud and rubble, looking around blankly, searching for lost loved ones.
Reckton's lips mumbled, as if something was caught in his throat, emitting a hoarse, unpleasant sound.
Suddenly, a huge shadow covered half of the port.
Reckton looked up, the grey-black leaden cloud vortex like a deep sea, and a pale lightning flash illuminated his startled face.
Crack!!
A purple lightning bolt struck the clock tower in the central street.
The clock tower broke, and the fire ignited by the lightning consumed it!
"Put out the fire!"
"Quickly, put out the fire!!"
People shouted anxiously.
Reckton stood motionless; in the fleeting flashes of lightning, he vaguely saw a huge shadow moving within the clouds!
Sure enough!
The next moment, a pitch-black cloud pillar, like an energy column, poured down from the center of the vortex; the instant the black cloud touched the ground, it immediately spread to the surrounding streets and buildings!
A tremendous crash echoed, as if something heavy had slammed onto the street, startling people's hearts to a sudden contraction, their eyelids trembling.
"Something has come down!"
The alert soldiers stood guard with their guns, staring intently at the center of the crash, cold sweat trickling down their faces, forming drops on their chins.
They clutched their long spears tightly, occasionally twisting them, their palms sweating, extremely nervous.
Suddenly, a large hand reached out from the cloud curtain and swept to the left.
A gust of strong wind immediately blew through the area, instantly clearing the black clouds from the surrounding streets.
Upon seeing the arrival, the soldiers' faces drastically changed!
A towering figure, ferocious bull horns, a malevolent face, snake-like eyes, and bulging muscles shimmering with a reddish-bronze luster!
Just one look made people tremble with fear!
Kaido bared his teeth, revealing stark white fangs: "Worororo, you're all quite cautious!!!"
Army Commander Frank recoiled two steps in fright, his face looking worse than if he had eaten dirt, staring at Kaido in disbelief: "Kai… Kaido?! How did you appear here?"
Kaido, carrying his spiked club, smirked as he stared at Army Commander Frank: "Oh? You know my name?"
"It would be strange not to know your name?!"
Army Commander Frank couldn't help but retort, struggling to utter a few words: "A great pirate with a bounty exceeding 700 million Berries!!"
Kaido laughed heartily, his wild laughter echoing throughout the entire street.
Then his expression darkened, and he said coldly: "Aren't you preparing to attack Winter Island? Could it be that you haven't even investigated who the enemy's 'Admiral' is?"
Army Commander Frank was shocked, realizing belatedly why Winter Island, with only tens of thousands of people, dared to bombard their Oren Kingdom ships… He couldn't help but look at King Reckton, who stood on the high platform, his tone chilling: "No matter who you are, since you dared to attack our royal ship and kill my citizens, you are declaring war on our Oren Kingdom!!"
The Oren Kingdom had dispatched only three thousand troops for this punitive expedition, but that didn't mean the Oren Kingdom's total military strength was only three thousand.
The Oren Kingdom's total military force amounted to ten thousand men!
Receiving the King's command, Army Commander Frank drew the golden longsword from his waist and waved it forward: "Soldiers, charge! Whoever can kill him will receive a bounty of 711 million Berries!"
Wealth moves hearts; hearing Army Commander Frank's encouragement, the soldiers exchanged glances, each seeing the fervent desire in the other's eyes!
Seven hundred million Berries!
Enough for several generations of luxurious living!
"Kill!!"
The soldiers, brandishing their weapons, swarmed forward; through alleys, on rooftops, countless people descended like a plague of locusts, attacking Kaido.
Kaido was unafraid, laughing sinisterly, and swung his weapon, sending soldiers flying.
He was practically a human harvesting machine; wherever he went, soldiers scattered like paper balls, creating large splashes of blood.
Even without using any Haki, his sheer physical strength was more brutal than a siege engine, easily tearing through formations, leaving the flat street riddled with holes.
His skin was incredibly tough; bullets hitting him were like tickles, and longswords striking him didn't even leave a scratch; dozens of people desperately clung to Kaido's limbs, but all were shaken off by him.
He was like a demon crawled out of the abyss, murderous and bloodthirsty, bringing death and disaster to the world, wantonly slaughtering and crushing people's will!
In just over ten minutes, thousands of warriors lay on the ground, the scene incredibly gruesome, a sickening smell of blood spreading through the city, and fear growing wildly like weeds in the depths of people's hearts.
Kaido walked over the scattered rubble, a boundless inferno behind him, carrying his spiked club, his face grim as he approached the remaining Kingdom army.
