Pepper looked at the two while raising her brow while he shot a glance at Sage who was beside him knowingly, "You're awake Mint. You too."
It seems like his mom might have an idea already about them.
"Mom, you know his name already, right? His Sage." Mint introduces, trying to distract Pepper.
"Ah yes. We already talked first before he 'entered' your room."
"Mom. Stop. Okay fine. Meet Sage. My----boyfriend." Mint said while rolling his eyes.
Pepper's smile widens, this is Mint, already confessing to her, "Hahaha. I knew it. Can I expect the celebratory wine at your wedding already?"
"Mom!!!"
"Fine. Fine. I'll stop. Anyway, you two should eat some. I know you need to go out now."
Mint heaved a sigh of relief when his mom stopped. Then he nodded at Pepper.
After the two eat their breakfast. They said their goodbye towards Pepper because they needed to go to work already.
From that day on, the two became closer and closer. Within their relationship, Mint opened up towards Sage. He began on welcoming Sage wholeheartedly. Without the caution on showing how obsessive he is towards Sage. Fearing that this will suffocate Sage and this will become the reason why Sage will leave him.
He gave his all to Sage.
As time went by, everything about Sage that he learned about, he all accepted it.
Even Sage, every day that passed, he became more and more infatuated with Mint. Every action, perks and behavior that he just encountered about him, he all finds it cute. He really loves it.
Their relationship lasted for seven months now.
Today, as always, Mint was well aware of how many people liked Sage. Everyone seemed interested in him. Whenever a woman or even other men saw Sage, they would inevitably let their imagination wander. At least, the women and some men here at Aethercliff Academy were still somewhat conservative, so they restrained themselves. But this time, it was different—truly different.
This day is the day that they held a conference and all of the attendees are coming from different cities around their country. Of course, not all of them were men.
Many women were attending as well. What annoyed him most was seeing them try to act cute around Sage. The scoundrel seemed to enjoy it.
His possessiveness flared when he noticed a woman trying to get close to Sage in front of the others. Without further ado, he strode over deliberately and positioned himself between Sage and the woman, making his presence unmistakably clear.
"Sorry ma'am and sir. I just needed to go there immediately and didn't see you." He apologizes coldly and then he gives a cold look at Sage.
After that, he bowed.
He left without saying goodbye.
After checking and saw that he is not needed there for a while. To unwind, he went out and then he went back to their office.
He wanted to rest for a bit. He's tired physically and mentally. But when he's walking at the corridor to their office—---
"Mint."
"Mint."
"Mint. Wait a moment."
Mint heard Sage's voice from behind. But Mint ignored that voice. He just walks continuously. Not even giving him a look.
He wanted to reach their office immediately. Maybe the person will get tired and just let him go.
Unfortunately, when he opened the door, someone pushed him so he fell onto the sofa that was positioned right beside the door.
Mint heard the door close. And locked.
"What--- Sage, why are you here? Aren't you supposed to be there now?" Mint asked Sage with a puzzled expression.
Sage really followed him until here.
"Should I stay still when I know that my boyfriend is angry at me?" Sage said while he settled on top of Mint.
Mint looked at the closed door, "I'm not angry. You probably just dreamed it. Get off of me for now, maybe there's someone who will suddenly enter and they will see us."
"No one will see us. I know you're in a bad mood again today because of what's happening. Sorry, I didn't mean to do it. But you know that you are the only one I love." Sage said tenderly then he kissed Mint's cheek.
"Then should I mark you? So, everyone can see that you're already marked?"
"You can try." Sage said teasingly at Mint.
Mint looked at Sage with narrowed eyes.
Wow, Sage is challenging him.
Mint moved forcefully and now, he is on top of Sage. He was sitting on his lap. His feet on each side as he brought his face close to Sage's.
"Are you tempting me? You don't know. I am so frustrated now. I need to vent." Mint said seductively at Sage.
Without further ado, he bit Sage's neck, just a little higher in his shoulder deeply.
Tasting the iron. He knew, he bit him hard causing the skin to be torn a little.
Mint is so satisfied with what he's done. He didn't regret it because he knew, he totally marked him that it would last for a while.
After he vents enough, he laps at the wound. He liked it and kissed it continuously. Raining pepper kisses on it. When he saw that it started to bruise, a hickey was slowly forming, he's very satisfied now.
With how satisfied Mint was right now, he didn't know the heat that he started within Sage. Because in his view, Mint is tempting him now.
"Are you satisfied now?" Sage questioned Mint in a raspy voice, as if he was in the moment of suppressing something.
Because of that, Mint looks at Sage's face. He saw that he was now breathing heavily. His face was a little bit red.
Mint guessed that he stimulated him a while ago.
Mint laughed at that. After that, he got down in between Sage's legs, kneeling on the floor. Using his teeth while his eyes never break from staring at Sage. He slowly unbuttons his trouser.

He heard Sage rapidly breathe.

He knew he liked this.
This stimulates him more. So, he excerpts more effort on what he's doing right now.
When Sage felt that he was about to release his essence, he held Mint's head to steady him. Then he pushed Mint's head deeper to the base of his hot member. He thrust until he exploded.

Sage helped Mint to sit on the sofa.
Mint just nodded as he leaned on Sage. Hugging him on the side while he put his chin on Sage's shoulder.
After that event, the two people's lives went back to normal, until one day. Mint's boss suddenly called from their intercom. Saying that their boss wants him to meet them up at the lobby of the main building.
Mint was so curious as to why he needed to go there. Without any suspicion, he just shrugged away and went to the said meeting place.
When he was walking on the open grounds between the building of their department and the main building of Aethercliff. Mint saw that Sage was standing at the parking lot.
Since Mint didn't see any colleagues and other employees of Aethercliff. He blew a kiss towards Sage's direction to tease him because he saw that he was staring at his direction.
Sage smiled at him seductively.
Before he could get even more tempted by Sage—especially with how he looked now—Mint tried to compose himself. Sage looked even cooler and more handsome in their new uniform.
He waved towards Sage and then left.
Upon arriving at the Lobby, Mint could already see his boss from a distance. Along with the big bosses of their academy. Not only that—there were also three middle-aged men wearing uniforms he recognized as belonging to the higher-ups of the Echelon Knight Military Academy.
He stopped walking.
'It's just a dream, Mint. Or better yet, you're probably just imagining things. Why would they be here?' Mint console himself.
"Mint, you're already here. Come here quickly." Mint's boss called him. Causing his attention to go back to the present.
He couldn't believe that the people he knew were really the ones he was seeing. Why would they be here? They had no reason to come. Mint was sure of that.
"Ma'am." Mint went closer and greeted the people respectfully and then he bows.
Mint glanced at his boss, then at one of the higher-ups present—the well-loved head of both his and Sage's departments, the executive vice president.
After a moment, he asked why they had called him.
"Hahaha. Mint, meet Major General Kane and his personnel behind him." With a smile, the executive vice president introduced Mint.
Mint nodded at the vice president respectfully and looked at the ones who she pointed at.
It's true.
He recognizes these people.
Unfortunately. He knew them all.
He's so dead!!
It looks like he might be exposed now or he's been exposed already.
If not, why did they call him? He's just an ordinary employee. He didn't even tell anyone that he had any connections with these high-ranking people.
"Good day sirs." Reluctantly, Mint greeted the three people.
Mint saw them smile at him tenderly. His forehead furrowed slightly as he looked at them. Though he quickly brushed it off so that others wouldn't see it. But that doesn't mean that the three didn't see his reaction as their smiles widened a little bit more because of his reaction.
'Bastards!!!' Mint screams internally.
"Umh!! Ma'am, why did you call me?" Mint asks, hopefully. Directing his question at his Department's head. His own boss.
"You see, the Major General is seeking a Driving School to partner with—one that can provide training and guidance for their first and second-year students within their Academy in obtaining their driver's licenses. It's a big project," his boss explained.
"But why me ma'am? Isn't it better that our instructor should be here, not me?" Mint asks.
"Ah, of course. We already finalize everything. It's just that, when they saw your profile. They requested you to be one of the instructors." Their vice president interrupted.
Mint saw that the three men nodded.
Mint signaled that he wished to speak with their boss in private. His boss agreed—but the vice president decided to join them as well.
When they went further for a while. Mint immediately protested and pleaded. He didn't like what is happening now.
"What? But ma'am, you know that I don't know how to instruct? I'm just an encoder here. Our instructor is enough, I think. I'm sure he can handle it. If he can't catch up as there were too many. Maybe we can get someone from another department?"
"We can't do anything since it's their condition. Are you going to let them go and get another Driving School just because you didn't agree?" Their vice president said in a way that she's making Mint feel guilty.
"But--"
"No buts, we'll be there when it's time. Don't worry, as long as we get this. Then it will be done smoothly. I'm sure our President will be very pleased. Don't worry it's just for formality's sake. After we get the contract, then it will become smoother. So, you should be patient this time." Their vice president said, assuring Mint and making it final.
Mint couldn't do anything anymore.
He couldn't even protest anymore because their big boss made it her final decision.
Even Mint's own boss agrees to that.
Damn it, he's the one at a disadvantage here.
Why them, anyway?
There's many driving schools out there. Why did they choose Aethercliff?
He doesn't want to revisit the past anymore.
Mint signed with resignation.
