Chapter 37 - Hero Names

[15 Minutes Later, U.A. High School, Class 1-A, Japan]

15 minutes later, I paid attention to my classmates as Midnight spoke up getting everyone's attention, "Let's finish up. We can start with whoever's ready!"

The first to go up is the traitor Yuga Aoyama as he spoke up lifting a name card as he spoke in a proud tone, "Shining Hero: I cannot stop twinkling."

Seeing everyone disagree with that Mina soon got up in a cheerful tone, "Okay I'm next! Call me Alien Queen the Ridley Hero!!"

However, that was straight up denied with Midnight disagreeing as she explained, "From the sequel?! Is it because her blood was super acidic?! That's terrible!! Next!!"

Mina scoffed as Tsuyu raised her hands with the usual ribbit noise, "Can I go next, please?"

Nodding her head Tsuyu took on the front of the class showing her name card explaining her hero's name in a blunt tone, "I've had this thought out since elementary school. Call me the Rainy Season Hero: Froppy."

Midnight agreed with the name with a smile on her face as she exclaimed turning her attention to the class, "So cute!! It makes you sound like you'd be easy to get to know. The rest of you, take note. This is a perfectly lovable name!"

After she was done, I decided to observe everyone else's names before announcing my own with Kinoko, showing her hero's name with more confidence in her voice, "The Mushroom Heroine: Shemage!"

With her showing up and getting approval Kirishima got up next in a confident tone, "I've got mine! The Sturdy Hero: Red Riot!"

Midnight blinked, mildly surprised as she commented on Kirishima's pick in an interested tone, "Red Riot! Could this be an homage to Chivalrous Hero: Crimson Riot?"

Kirishima nodded his head rubbing the back of his head explaining in a happy tone, "Right! I know he's from back in the day, but Crimson's the kind of hero I wanna be."

Midnight nodded her head and agreed as she took the name card, responding to Kirishima's enthusiasm in a calm tone, "Heh heh… just know that bearing the name of your personal hero comes with a lot of pressure."

Kirishima nodded as everyone soon began to show their hero names one by one. Each shows enthusiasm showing off to the class.

Hearing Hero: Earphone Jack.

Martial Arts Heroine: Battle Fist.

The Size Heroine: Rule.

Everything Hero: Genesis.

Stealth Heroine: Invisible Girl.

Shoto.

Jet Black Hero: Tsukuyomi.

Taping Hero: Cellophane.

Stun Gun Hero: Chargebolt.

Pinky.

Uravity.

Deku.

With Bakugo and Ida needing more time choosing their names, that left… me and Shinso.

Not wanting to be outdone, Shinso stood up and showed his name card in a proud tone, showcasing his hero's name on his name card, "Seems like I'm next. I want to be called The Hijack Hero: Mindjack."

Mindjack. Has a nice ring to it with his Quirk.

Midnight agreed with a grin as she called me out being the last one to reveal my hero's name in a curious tone, "Good! Sounds like a good Hero name for you Shinso. But now then… Hiroto, you seem to be the last one care to show to the class?"

Nodding my head, I went ahead to show my hero's name from this point forward in a neutral tone, said, "I have no fancy name like any of you guys, but I picked this one that suited me best. Phantom."

Midnight was quick to realize what this meant as she spoke with a cheeky grin on her face as she said, "Oh. When your quirk is active, you can pass through anything, right? Sounds perfect if you say to me!"

I nodded exactly for that reason I spoke out in a sheepish tone, "Yeah. It was either that or my original name."

with Midnight stretching, Aizawa-Sensei began to hand out as he explained the Hero Internship in a stoic tone, "Your internships start in a week. For this all-important decision, I'll be handing out personalized lists to those who were drafted. You may choose from among those who scouted you. For those who were not drafted the list I just passed out contains 40 agencies from all over the country willing to accept interns. You will choose one from that list. Each has a different specialty and region. Give your choice some real thought."

He passed the class on each of our papers as I listened to Kirishima muttering in an excited tone, "I'm going for major crimes in the big city!"

Tsuyu commented in a blunt tone about her choices from the paper, "I'd like a place where I can deal with floods."

That was when Aizawa-Sensei spoke in a stoic tone, the time limit placed on us, "Submit your choices by this coming weekend."

Sero muttered, hearing that in a stunned tone, "We've only got two days to pick?!"

Being handed my paper, I began to check the options to choose for looking down on it. I viewed some potential hero agencies that I knew were taking my interest.

I raised an eyebrow, seeing her name on my internship paper. Considering she works alone so seeing her show up means I appeased her enough to be considered an intern. That and she's a complete battle manic.

First Choice: Okinawa, Tokyo: Dragoon Hero Ryukyu Agency.

Second Choice: Hiroshima, Tokyo: Rabbit Hero Mirko's Agency.

Third Choice: Osaka, Kanto: Sir Nighteye Agency.

I merely picked the last two since they would probably be the most useful in helping me when I form my own Hero Agency that battles crime or does investigative work like the Sir Nighteye Agency dealing against drug users and the sort.

Picking my choice, I began to hand it over to Aizawa-Sensei as he curtly nodded.
