Max shifted back into his normal form before heading toward the party Bee had been hosting earlier that night.
But when he arrived, the party was over.
Completely over.
The entire building was silent, the music long since stopped. Neon lights still flickered weakly, but the dance floor and surrounding rooms were covered in blood, broken furniture, and bodies.
A lot of bodies.
Sinners.
Hellborn.
Demons.
Bee's little emotional breakdown had clearly turned violent.
Very violent.
Max stepped carefully inside, making sure not to step on any bodies or pools of blood as he walked through the ruined party hall.
At the bar, sitting alone, was Beelzebub.
She had a drink in her hand, slowly swirling it around as she stared at nothing in particular. No one else was near her. Everyone in the building who was still alive had made sure to stay far away.
Max stopped a few feet from her.
Close enough to talk.
Far enough to not look threatening.
"Beelzebub," Max said calmly. "Are you okay?"
Bee moved slightly and glanced at him, her eyes unfocused and tired. She looked at him for a moment, then looked away again and took another drink.
Max thought for a moment.
He needed to get her attention properly.
He looked around the room at the bodies and blood covering everything.
Then he smirked slightly.
"Well," he said casually, "let's clean this place up first."
He raised his hand slightly and spoke dramatically.
"In the name of Entity… Beelzebub, I command you to devour all the bodies in the immediate area. Leave not a single drop of blood behind!"
He mostly said it like that because it sounded cool.
Bee immediately looked up, slightly annoyed.
It sounded like he had just ordered her to do something.
But then she noticed something strange.
A dark purple mist formed in front of Max, swirling slowly like a miniature vortex.
Then the bodies began to dissolve.
Blood lifted off the floor in thin streams, turning into red mist as it was pulled into the purple vortex. Flesh, bone, and even stains soaked into the floor all dissolved into the same red vapor.
Bee felt a strong suction in the air.
She looked toward the windows and realized it wasn't just inside the building.
The vacuum was pulling from outside too.
Streets.
Alleys.
Nearby buildings.
Every trace of blood and bodies from the surrounding area was being pulled into the purple mist.
Within minutes, everything was gone.
No blood.
No bodies.
No stains.
It was like nothing had ever happened.
Max clapped his hands lightly.
"There we go," he said. "Much better."
He looked at her and smiled slightly.
"May we talk?"
Bee stared at him for a long moment.
Then shrugged slightly and motioned for him to sit.
Max sat beside her at the bar.
For a while, neither of them said anything.
Then suddenly Bee started talking.
A lot.
About Vortex.
About how he was a terrible boyfriend.
About how he never spent time with her unless it was at parties.
About how everyone only wanted her for parties, food, drinks, and fun—but never actually cared about her.
Then she started complaining about the Rat King.
"How do sinners keep trying to take over Hell?" she muttered angrily. "The circles exist for a reason. Everyone keeps trying to mess with the system."
Max just listened.
Nodding occasionally.
Comforting her when she got frustrated.
He knew she was vulnerable right now.
And he also knew this moment was important.
While they talked, several demons and sinners tried to enter the building, either to check on Bee or to take advantage of the chaos.
But none of them made it inside.
Max had already set up Universal Thread traps around the building—thin, invisible threads forming a massive web around the entire area.
Anyone who tried to enter got stuck like flies in a spider web.
Several were already hanging outside, completely immobilized.
Inside, Bee eventually started slowing down.
Her speech became quieter.
Her eyes drooped.
She was exhausted.
Emotionally.
Physically.
Mentally.
Eventually, she just… fell asleep at the bar.
Max stood up and carefully tried to lift her.
But the moment he touched her—
Her body suddenly shifted.
Her beast form appeared instantly, massive and powerful, and she slammed Max against the wall with terrifying speed.
Her claws pinned him in place, crushing him against the concrete.
Max winced as he felt several bones crack.
"Yeah…" he muttered calmly. "I should've expected this."
Her eyes glowed faintly, but she wasn't fully conscious.
This was instinct.
Subconscious defense.
"If it were this easy to take advantage of you," Max said quietly, "you wouldn't be Bee."
She pressed harder, crushing his ribs further.
His pain resistance kept him functional, but it still hurt.
A lot.
But he didn't fight back.
Instead, he raised one hand slowly and spoke again.
"In the name of Entity… I command you, Belphegor…"
His voice echoed slightly with power.
"Put this troubled one into the best of dreams… and the deepest sleep."
A wave of energy surged outward from him.
Bee's beast form immediately disappeared, and her body returned to her smaller, normal form as she collapsed into his arms completely unconscious.
Max caught her carefully.
"Sweet dreams, little Bee," he said quietly.
He adjusted his grip and teleported instantly.
They appeared inside Bee's massive house. Max walked through the halls and carefully placed her on her enormous bed, pulling a blanket over her.
He looked at her for a moment.
Then smiled slightly.
"Goodnight."
Max teleported away, satisfied with how the night had gone.
[A: So, I see a lot do want Verosika added and I will do that as not a single person said no. And had a strange idea while writing. What about Leyley, can totally see her in hell, whether as a crazy addition to the harem or a separate Overlord. Either way enjoy]
