"Jealous already?" Ethan chuckled, squeezing Venelana's breast.
Venelana rolled her eyes. A tool like Nina was replaceable, but having one would indeed lower their risks. As for betrayal? Between Ethan's dual cultivation and the Gremory family's Master-Servant contracts, it wasn't a concern.
They called Nina into the room. The young maid, shaking with fear, pushed open the door only to have her brain short-circuit at the sight of three naked people on the bed.
"Come up and serve Lord Ethan," Grayfia said coldly as she stood up. "Choose between this, memory erasure, or death."
The terrified maid didn't hesitate. She stripped off her uniform and crawled onto the bed. Venelana gave Ethan a final, greedy kiss before she and Grayfia cleaned themselves up and dressed.
"Ethan, stay here for now. I'll be back tonight," Venelana promised.
Once they left to handle the household commotion, Nina finally realized the magnitude of the secret she had stumbled upon. She wasn't resistant; if her Matriarch and the Head Maid had submitted, who was she to refuse? In fact, a small part of her was delighted.
"Let's begin, then," Ethan said, pinning the golden-haired, red-eyed virgin maid beneath him. Though she wasn't a "Chosen One" like Rias, she was top-tier beauty—slender waist, long legs, and a fresh, tight body.
While Ethan was "educating" Nina on her new duties, Venelana and Grayfia were busy quelling the unrest in the mansion. They decided on a bold move: they called Lord Zeoticus Gremory and Sirzechs Lucifer back from their "meditation" in the dimensional gap for a late dinner.
Half an hour later, Zeoticus—the red-haired, bearded head of the house—sat at the head of the long table. Sirzechs and Venelana sat on either side. Grayfia stood nearby, fulfilling her role as Head Maid.
"Why the sudden summons?" Zeoticus asked, sipping blood-red wine.
"It's not a small matter," Venelana said, elegantly cutting a piece of steak. "Ethan has broken through to the God-rank."
Zeoticus froze. "The boy? Rias's pawn? The current Red Dragon Emperor who just hit Satan-class?"
"Yes," Venelana replied.
"In that case," Zeoticus mused, "Rias won't be far behind. We need to finalize his entry into the family immediately. He must marry into the Gremory house."
Sirzechs was more perceptive. "Mother, when did this happen? Who else knows?"
Venelana followed the script she and Grayfia had written. She explained that Ethan had reached a realization upon seeing the Underworld's scenery, and they had spent the afternoon shielding his aura and guarding his breakthrough. This perfectly explained their "disappearance."
