Chapter 103 - Chapter 103: Hancock, A Red Haired Boy Fell from the Sky

Chapter 103: Hancock, A Red Haired Boy Fell from the Sky

A figure dropped out of the sky.

The CP0 agent in white looked up, face dark as iron. Who in their right mind would dare dive into the heavily guarded airspace of Mary Geoise and call it a surprise attack?

CP was built to serve the Celestial Dragons. They were ruthless mission machines, dogs loyal down to the bone. CP0, in particular, was known as the strongest shield of the Celestial Dragons.

"Whoever you are, since you dared to come here, you die." CP0's voice turned frosty. His body tensed, arm snapping upward, one finger aimed at the falling shadow.

The Six Styles, Finger Gun.

Not just a Finger Gun either, an extended version, a Flying Finger Gun.

With a sharp whoosh, an air bullet blasted upward and struck the figure dropping from above.

High in the sky, Roy was plummeting fast. He genuinely had not expected that the moment he slipped out of the River of Time, he would end up in… Mary Geoise.

What year was this?

Who was stationed here?

Those questions flashed through his mind instantly.

Or was he lucky enough to hit a gap in the rotation of big names?

It was possible.

In the original story, Fisher Tiger, who had once been ambushed and badly wounded by Rear Admiral Strawberry's troops, still managed to rampage through this supposedly untouchable holy land, set Mary Geoise on fire, and free countless slaves.

From Strawberry and that ambush, you could roughly place Tiger's strength.

And judging from Tiger's chaos here and the fact that he escaped unscathed, it was easy to infer that Mary Geoise had likely been in a period without an Admiral stationed on site. Otherwise, why would Tiger need to be ambushed by a rear admiral at all?

As for Imu…

A being who had lived for eight hundred years would have grown numb to most things. Unless Mary Geoise was blown into the sky, no matter how many Celestial Dragons died, Imu would not feel a flicker of regret.

Imu would never risk his own life for a minor role.

Run.

Roy made up his mind on the spot. No matter what, he had to run first. If nobody chased him while he fled, then…

Maybe he could consider setting Mary Geoise on fire.

But living came before everything.

"Ow, what the heck, that tickles." Still falling, Roy got hit by the air bullet. His clothes tore, but his skin did not even show a scratch.

He still had not learned Moon Walk, so he could not shift his body midair by kicking the air.

His freefall would have made Newton proud.

"What a tough little brat." CP0's eyes sharpened. He planted both hands on the ground, kicked upward, and launched a roaring vacuum blade into the sky.

The Six Styles, Tempest Kick.

"This is such a pain." Roy saw the attacker clearly as he dropped closer.

It was awful. Even if it did not hurt, the guy had shredded his outfit.

The Flying Finger Gun was one thing, but that Tempest Kick looked like it was meant to strip him the instant he landed.

Roy snapped his hand out and slapped the vacuum blade aside.

To CP0's horror, the slash actually flew back at him.

CP0 reacted instantly. His feet hammered the ground dozens of times in a blur. Using the explosive speed of Shave, he shot away like a teleport, vanishing from his spot.

Click, crack, crack.

The vacuum blade hit, carving the courtyard in half. CP0 reappeared in the distance, staring hard as the red haired boy smashed into the ground with a heavy thud.

"?"

Since when did even a child dare to assault Mary Geoise?

CP0's mind churned. The World Government had ruled the top of the world for eight hundred years. How could outsiders humiliate it whenever they pleased?

Fisher Tiger would probably say yes.

Roy hit the ground without a single injury. The Celestial Dragon's courtyard, however, exploded into a crater.

Standing off to the side, Hancock stared at the sky, then at the crater, then at the red haired boy standing with his back to her in rolling dust and smoke.

She rubbed her eyes, dumbfounded, whispering again and again, "The sky… the sky…"

Was this real?

A little boy fell from the sky.

And he even forced CP0 to retreat.

Twelve year old Hancock was completely stunned.

"My lord, you must leave. I will handle him." CP0 stepped in front of the terrified Celestial Dragon, speaking fast.

"Monster, monster, kill him!" The pot bellied Celestial Dragon's legs went weak. He collapsed into a squat, tears streaming down his face as Roy stood up from the crater.

How was that a normal kid?

Normal kids do not fall from that height and walk away clean. Normal kids do not treat Flying Finger Guns like a mosquito bite. Normal kids do not swat a Tempest Kick away like they were brushing dust off their sleeve.

As decadent and useless as this Celestial Dragon was, he still understood one thing. His father held high office in the World Government. He was not the kind of sheltered idiot who only ate, drank, and played.

He knew this boy was dangerous.

"Y yes, I have to go." The Celestial Dragon forced down his fear and scrambled up. "Hold them off. I'll go find someone!"

"The Celestial Dragons and CP0…" Roy's gaze swept over the fat noble, the guards, and the agent in white.

Whether or not an Admiral was stationed here, these people were dying today.

If word of his arrival spread, what would be the point of running?

Clang.

Roy drew the longsword at his waist and swung. The cold blade flashed forward, whistling straight toward the Celestial Dragon.

"Hmph." CP0 snorted and appeared in the sword's path in an instant. He seized the blade barehanded and locked eyes on Roy.

Roy dashed in and leapt, fist cocked.

Was his main target the Celestial Dragon?

Wrong.

The real problem was CP0.

"Iron Body."

Protecting his master with everything he had, CP0 activated Iron Body, intending to tank the punch, then counter with a killing blow.

But in the next heartbeat, his skull shattered. Red and yellow splattered across the ground.

To be honest, Roy never expected an elite among elites to die to one punch just because of a single misread while shielding their master.

Of course, that also came from CP0's arrogance and contempt for Roy as a child. They thought they could trade blows with him.

In reality, if CP0 had dodged even slightly, Roy would not have won so easily.

There were plenty of ways to evade, Shave, Paper Art, even Observation Haki.

But there were plenty of ways to die too, like using Iron Body to take a hit from Big Mom's brute strength and steel like defense.

"That… that's insane!"

Hancock clapped both hands over her mouth, eyes blown wide in shock.

You are a kid. Why are you fighting like monsters?
