The next morning, Xu Guofeng and Yang Qingyue boarded a commercial airliner, opting not to use their private jet.
With a roar of the engines, the plane surged into the sky.
After more than an hour, the aircraft began its descent.
Suddenly, the plane lurched violently.
Passengers in the cabin heard a loud, metallic grinding sound.

Panic spread through the cabin as people began discussing the situation.

The flight attendant's voice, calm and steady, came over the intercom.

"Ground Control Center, this is Flight 9833. We are experiencing an unknown malfunction, with loss of control. Requesting immediate assistance."
The captain calmly contacted ground control.
Upon hearing the news, the Ground Control Center immediately panicked.
"Tell me everything about Flight 9833, now!"

"Lin Chen, it's me," Xu Guofeng's voice came through. "I'm on a plane. Our aircraft is malfunctioning."
Lin Chen's expression shifted. He turned to Xiaoqian. "Honey, Daddy has something urgent to take care of. You keep drawing for a while."
Lin Chen quickly entered the study.
"Dad, hand the phone to the pilot."
"Don't worry, I'll help resolve the issue," Lin Chen reassured him.
Liang Wei quickly relayed the necessary information, and a vast amount of data about the aircraft flooded Lin Chen's mind.
As a master-level aircraft manufacturing expert, he possessed comprehensive knowledge of all aircraft types.
"Captain, don't panic," Lin Chen said. "I'm intimately familiar with this aircraft. I know every component inside out and have a good idea of where the problem lies. Just follow my instructions."
Liang Wei promptly reported this to the Ground Control Center. He couldn't simply follow Lin Chen's instructions without authorization.
"Comrade Liang Wei, follow Mr. Lin's guidance," Huang Chenyuan replied to the captain about half a minute later.
Huang Chenyuan had received orders from higher-ups. The incident had already caught the attention of top officials, who could easily access Lin Chen's profile.
"Mr. Lin, please proceed," Liang Wei said, contacting Lin Chen again in a serious tone.
Lin Chen smiled. "Captain Liang, relax. This aircraft has some design flaws. Under special circumstances, such problems can occur."
"Just follow my instructions, and we'll fix it in ten minutes."
Time ticked by.
Lin Chen guided Liang Wei and the crew, knowing exactly where every nail was in the aircraft.
Five minutes later, the fault was identified.
But identifying the fault didn't mean it was resolved.
"Captain Liang, once the fault is identified, it's much easier to fix. Follow my instructions, and it'll be done in three to five minutes," Lin Chen said confidently.
