Chapter 1 - : The Fall

Stars filled the sky without end. Galaxies swirled in endless patterns. Then a sharp rip tore through space. It cracked open like broken glass. Vakalagua ruled as the strongest bully among the gods. He held power in their hidden realm. In anger, he struck his partner hard. His blow carried pure force, wild and unchecked. That hit shattered the even tug of gravity in their home. At that moment, their child Kiyotakan burst free from her. He flew out like a bright comet made of sacred fire. Flames trailed behind him in a hot glow. He spun through seven full galaxies on his crazy ride.

Along the way, he slammed into four worlds. Each crash changed him a bit more. First, he hit Eurak. That planet had a rock-hard center deep inside. It gave him power to stand against fire storms and ground shakes. He could feel the heat now without burning. Quakes no longer knocked him down. Next came Veram. It twisted illusions like fog blowing in the breeze. From it, he gained skills to mimic forms and cover up facts. He could look like someone else or vanish in plain sight. Then Patrean buzzed with dark energies of life and rot. It buried seeds of death magic right into his bones. Those powers let him touch the edge of endings, control decay if he tried. Last, he struck Earth. Our blue world teemed with life, shifts, and surprises. It filled him with human emotions: warmth from friends, flaws like anger, and big dreams of tomorrow.

As he sped on, he breathed in the air from each spot. He pulled in their basic strengths and ancient stories. These places molded him, one after another. By the time Earth grabbed him, he was different. No more just a plain baby. He carried mixed forces from the stars, all tangled up.

On Earth, a quiet forest trembled with force. The ground split wide from the hard landing. Smoke curled up thick. Trees leaned over, branches snapped. In the center, a gentle light shone through the dirt and leaves. A woman named Hana walked close by. Pain still stung her from losing her own baby months ago. Her chest felt hollow, her days empty. But she spotted this glowing kid and froze in place.

The boy shone with an odd light from another place. Marks like tiny stars etched his skin in patterns. They pulsed soft. Fear did not grip her heart. Instead, love rushed in, deep and real. She picked him up and held him tight against her. She named him Kiyotakan right there. From then on, she called him her own son. She poured every bit of care into raising him.

Hana picked a spot far away in the wild hills. She wanted no noisy towns or crowds to find them. Life stayed simple, just the two of them. She believed in fate and quiet signs from the heavens. Kind acts, she thought, could mend the deepest hurts. Kiyotakan ran through green fields. Tall trees shaded his play. She read him tales of bold heroes and fierce monsters. He listened without much talk. He watched the world with sharp eyes. At night, he stared at the stars. It looked like he hoped they would whisper back secrets just for him.

Time flew by. Kiyotakan shot up tall and strong. Weird abilities popped out in him. No one else on Earth could do the same. He raised big rocks with his mind alone. No hands touched them; they just floated. Thoughts from people nearby whispered in his head, clear as day. Once, he ducked behind a bush and vanished with a quick blink. Hana watched all this happen. Worry built in her. She hid him from others. Folks might chase him down or fear his strange tricks. But Kiyotakan sensed a pull from somewhere far. A huge destiny tugged at him inside.

He asked her lots about where he started. "Where did I come from?" he'd say, eyes big and curious. Hana would smile gentle and hug him close. "From the stars, my boy," she said. "But your heart belongs here with me." Those words calmed him for a while. Deep down, though, he knew the sky called with more answers.

One black night, he slipped into the woods by himself. Moon beams slipped through the branches. Then a bright flash hit. It felt like a dream but wide awake. He saw a planet burning. Flames leaped high, eating everything. A figure in a hood stood there, tall and icy. A deep voice boomed: "You are the echo. Come back." Kiyotakan dropped to his knees. His body shook like leaves in wind. Hours later, Hana found him curled up. His eyes still flickered with a far-off glow.

Far off in empty space, Vakalagua looked through a split in the worlds. His stare burned hot with mad anger. He locked eyes on the boy down on Earth. "My son," he growled low and mean. "Your story keeps going. I promise that." He drew energy from forgotten corners. Old powers stirred awake at his pull. They had slept for ages.

The whole universe noticed the change. Ancient creatures whispered in the shadows. Light and dark tipped uneven, bit by bit. Earth slept under its dark sky. People dreamed on, not seeing the storm build. That same sky now linked to giant battles beyond.

Kiyotakan neared his teen years. Hana's love kept him grounded. But his real past yanked like an ocean wave. He stood caught between his home and his blood ties. Hard tests waited ahead, hidden from view. His choices would rattle stars and planets. The first challenge sneaked closer, set to hit soon.

A vast expanse of stars and galaxies stretched out forever. Then a fierce tear ripped open space itself. Vakalagua ruled as the top tyrant in the gods' domain. He hit his partner with a strike full of raw power. That force broke the steady pull of gravity in their home. Right then their baby Kiyotakan burst from her body. He shot out like a blazing comet of holy flames. He twisted through seven full galaxies on his wild path.

He crashed into four worlds along the way. First came Eurak with its tough core. It gifted him strength against fire storms and quakes. Next Veram spun illusions like smoke in the wind. It filled him with tricks to copy shapes and hide truths. Then Patrean hummed with dark life forces. It planted seeds of death magic deep in his bones. Last he hit Earth our blue planet full of life and change. It poured in human feelings warmth flaws and dreams.

As he flew he soaked up each place's air. He took in their raw powers and old tales. These worlds shaped him step by step. By the time Earth caught him he had changed. No longer a simple baby he held clashing forces from the stars.

Down on Earth a calm woods shook hard. A deep hole formed from the smash. Smoke rose and trees bent low. In the middle a soft glow lit up the mess. A woman named Hana walked near. She hurt from losing her own baby just months back. Her heart ached empty and raw. But when she saw this shining child she stopped cold.

The boy gave off a strange otherworldly shine. Odd marks like stars carved his skin. Yet fear did not touch her. Love flooded in strong and sure. She scooped him up close to her chest. She named him Kiyotakan and called him her son. From that day she cared for him with all she had.

Hana chose a life alone deep in the wild hills. No busy towns or loud crowds reached them there. She trusted in destiny and hidden signs from above. Kindness she knew could heal deep wounds. Kiyotakan played in green fields under tall trees. She read him books of brave fighters and scary beasts. He stayed quiet watched everything close. Nights he gazed up at the sky. It seemed he waited for the lights to share secrets.

Years passed and Kiyotakan grew tall. Strange gifts showed in him no one on Earth could match. He lifted rocks with just a thought no hands needed. Whispers of minds around him reached his ears clear. One time he stepped behind a bush and blinked gone from sight. Hana saw it all and her worry grew. She kept him hidden from prying eyes. People might hunt him fear his odd ways. But Kiyotakan felt a tug from far off. Some big fate called him he sensed it deep.

He asked her often about his start. Where did I come from he would say eyes wide. Hana smiled soft and pulled him near. From the stars my boy she told him. But your heart stays right here with us. Those words eased his mind for a bit. Still he knew the sky held more for him.

One dark night he wandered the woods alone. Moonlight filtered through leaves. Then a flash hit him a dream while awake. He saw a world on fire flames licking high. A shadow in a hood stood tall and cold. A low voice echoed you are the echo come back. Kiyotakan fell to his knees body shaking hard. Hours later Hana found him there. His eyes still sparked with a faint light from beyond.

Way out in the void Vakalagua peered through a crack in worlds. His gaze burned like stars in rage. He stared at the boy on Earth. My son he said low and fierce. Your tale goes on I swear it. He pulled power from old dusty places. Forces long asleep woke at his call.

The whole cosmos felt the shift. Ancient beings murmured in the dark. Light and shadow tipped off balance slow but sure. Earth lay quiet under its night sky. Folks dreamed on blind to the trouble brewing. That sky now tied to bigger fights.

Kiyotakan reached the brink of his teen years. Love from Hana held him tight. Yet his past pulled like a strong tide. He stood split between home and blood. Trials lay ahead he could not see. His picks would shake stars and worlds alike. The first test crept close ready to strike.
