"Huh? Kars, why did you turn back again?" On the new day, when Kars arrived at the Terakoya for class, Cirno was confused to see him back in his little boy form, wondering why he had reverted in just one day.
"It's a long story. Simply put, I ran out of power." Kars gave them a simple explanation. He also noticed that Daiyousei, Wriggle, and Mystia seemed to be deliberately avoiding his gaze, and they seemed slightly relieved. What's that about? Rumia and Cirno's behavior, however, was as usual.
"Cirno, why are Daiyousei and the others looking at me weirdly?" Kars, puzzled, asked Cirno, hoping for an explanation.
"I don't know either. It seems like Daiyousei, Wriggle, and Mystia have been acting strange ever since we got back from Youkai Mountain." Cirno didn't understand the situation either. She had asked Daiyousei, but the fairy just shook her head, blushing, so Cirno couldn't get any answers.
"Was it about yesterday? Ah! Was it about me being naked?" Kars suddenly realized. That was the only thing that could explain it. However, he wasn't too bothered. Their reactions were undeniably milder than Sakuya's. If their reaction was like Sakuya's, then he would be concerned.

"Exactly. If we keep bringing it up, we'll never forget it." Mystia agreed. Continually mentioning it would only make them think about it more. Besides, Kars reverting to his little boy form helped ease the situation. Their reaction would have been much worse if he were still in his adult form.
"Even if we don't talk about it, it won't be that easy to forget." Especially the sight of Kars walking towards them at the end only amplified the situation. This guy is, in some ways, on the same level as Cirno.

As an eyewitness who saw Kars absorb a massive amount of energy, Wriggle didn't think that power could be used up in one day, even if he exerted himself. Especially since Kars's previous reaction indicated he was happy to be in his adult form, suggesting he wouldn't waste that power. This situation meant something forced him to use up all his power. Although they hadn't known each other long, Wriggle considered Kars a friend and a member of their group.
"It wasn't simple, actually. I played a fighting game with Little Auntie Yuuka. In that kind of situation, you can't hold back your power even if you want to. When we were fighting, I couldn't worry about anything else."
"You, you, you… you fought that woman?! Are you crazy?!" Wriggle was instantly dumbfounded. She never expected Kars to go and do something like that with that terrifying woman. Doesn't he fear being beaten to death?

"Kars, you're not joking, are you? That person clearly isn't someone you should think of like that!" Mystia thought Kars was completely unaware of who Yuuka Kazami was. Wanting such a powerful Youkai as his wife was too far-fetched.
"Are you seriously mentally ill?" Wriggle completely thought Kars's brain must be broken to have such an unrealistic idea. "I advise you to let go of this childish notion. Given your situation, you should find someone similar to you. Don't dream about Youkai like that."
"Someone similar? Are you talking about me? Am I suitable to be his wife? I think so too! Hahahaha!!" Cirno thought Wriggle was referring to her since they were similar. However, she also asked a question: "But what is a wife, anyway?"
