Yash asked Priya what she was doing in the garden. Laughing, Priya replied, "I just come here to lighten my mood, or sometimes I sit nearby and study. I like the peace and being alone, that's why I come here. But how come you're here today? I've never seen you before."
Yash said, "Oh no, I mostly work in my garage and stay in my room. My boss told me not to overwork, to go out and wander sometimes."
Hearing this, Priya laughed and said, "So you live here on rent, far from your mom and dad?" She added, "Honestly, you're really brave. If it were me, I couldn't live away from my mom and dad."
Then Priya asked, "So tell me, where's your original home? Where do you belong?"
Yash's eyes softened. He said softly, "I'm an orphan…"
But Priya didn't hear. She asked, "What did you say? Say it again."
Just as Yash was about to repeat, five guys who looked like addicts entered the park. Their attention went straight to Priya. One said, "Look, boss, that's the girl who comes here daily. And see, they're laughing and talking."
Another member said, "As far as I know, she doesn't have any brother. So who's this guy?"
Their boss finished his cigarette and walked toward them.
We return to the moment where Priya says, "I didn't hear, tell me again." As Yash is about to speak, the boss reaches them and says, "What's up, madam? With your boyfriend today?"
Priya replies, "Yes, you're right. I came with my boyfriend today. Any problem?"
The boss grits his teeth and says, "Boyfriend, huh?" and starts walking toward Yash.
Yash gets terrified. He says, "I'm not her boyfriend. Priya, why aren't you telling the truth?"
Seeing Yash panic, Priya gets scared too and says, "Yes, he's telling the truth. He's not my boyfriend." In her mind, she thinks, I didn't know he'd get this scared.
Yash is trembling. Seeing his state, Priya is frightened and tells the boss, "Look, don't harass me. And don't even think of doing anything to him. I just said all that so you'd see and leave."
But the boss laughs maniacally. Grabbing Yash's hair, he says, "Hey, you're not her boyfriend, right? Then you won't feel anything if I do something wrong with her."
He lets go of Yash and tells his friends, "See, the girl I wasted my time every day to get doesn't even want to look at me. And she made a fake boyfriend too. Now tell me, what should I do with her?"
His friends reply, "We've got the chance today, boss. Don't let it go. Let's end her game right here."
The boss starts moving slowly toward Priya. She gets terrified and says, "Don't come near me, or I'll call the police and file a case."
But the boss grabs her dress and is about to lift it. At that moment, Yash grabs his hand so tightly that the boss's grip easily slips from Priya's clothes—the pain is intense, but he doesn't show it on his face and stares at Yash.
Yash, fearless in that moment but still trembling, says, "Look, sir, it was just a mistake. You don't need to do this."
Without a word, the boss steps back and tells his group, "Keep beating him until his blood flows."
Hearing this, Yash panics. Priya is stunned…
Everyone is holding something—a thick wooden stick caked with dust and mud, an old rusty chain rattling, a broken beer bottle with sharp edges, something shiny like a knife—and they advance slowly but menacingly toward Yash. Their shadows stretch long in the dark night, the air thick with cigarette stench. Yash, terrified, sweat pouring down his face, hands and legs shaking, folds his hands and begs, "Please forgive me, sir, it was my mistake… please let me go, I didn't do anything…" But they ignore him completely, their laughter echoing in the park, and start beating him.
The one in front hits Yash with the stick—first blow lands on his shoulder, Yash screams in pain. He tries to block, grabbing the stick with his hands, but another guy comes from behind, locks his arms, twists them. Yash struggles, but his strength fails. In his mind, he thinks, I have to escape somehow, or they'll kill me. Suddenly, he pushes back hard—shoves two guys, elbows one, grabs Priya's hand tightly, and starts running. His feet pound the ground, breath heaving.
Priya, who had been standing frozen in fear, cries, "You go from here, it's all my fault… I got you into this…" and bursts into sobs, tears rolling down her cheeks. Seeing this, Yash's heart melts, but he doesn't stop. He scoops Priya into his arms—her weight light, but she's trembling with fear—and runs faster. His breath is ragged, heart pounding. The boss's men go in another direction, hiding. Their plan now: once Yash drops Priya home and is alone, they'll pounce… their laughter echoes faintly, like a hunter waiting.
We see Yash panting, carrying Priya, sweat dripping from his forehead. He says, "Tell me, where's your house? Quick!" Priya, crying but quickly, says, "Ahead… two lefts… that lane…" Yash keeps running without stopping, the alleys dark, but he somehow gets her home. At the gate, he gently sets her down.
Priya apologizes profusely, holding his hands, eyes filled with tears, "Because of me, you had to go through this… I never thought this would happen… sorry Yash, please forgive me…" Yash, in pain himself, forces a smile and says, "It's okay, you're safe, right? See you in college tomorrow. Go inside." He makes her open the gate, leaves her, and walks away, his back aching, but he keeps going.
A little later, as Yash walks alone through a deserted alley, the addicts suddenly surround him from all sides and say, "Where will you run now, kid… where did running get you?" Their voices cold and cruel. Yash folds his hands and says, "Please sir, forgive me, it was my mistake… I didn't do anything…" He goes to the boss, falls to his knees, "Sir, please please forgive me… I'll never come again…" But the boss laughs coldly, "No, kid, no. See what you did to my hand, it still hurts… now you'll pay for it."
With his left hand, he slaps Yash 10 times standing there—each slap echoes, Yash's face turns red, his lip splits. He tells one guy, "Record it, take out the phone… we'll make it viral, let everyone know you don't mess with us…"
Yash, groaning in pain, says, "Sir, why the video… beat me as much as you want… just don't record…" Hearing this, the boss gets angrier, "Oh, you talk a lot… I'll teach you more!" Then he's hit 5-6 times with the stick—on the back, legs, Yash screams with every blow. They make him kneel, he's crying, tears and blood mixing and flowing. His white shirt is completely torn to shreds—pieces scattered on the ground. Yash is sobbing, his cries echoing in the night…
Later, we see Yash, blood oozing from his body—shoulder, back, deep scratches on cheeks, lip swollen, clothes in tatters, just scraps hanging. He steadies himself, leans on the wall to stand, groaning in pain, but doesn't lose courage. Limping, he heads to his garage. The night is deep, streets empty, only dogs barking.
He reaches the garage. As he opens the gate, his boss's stern voice comes from inside, "Hey Yash! I gave you a break to walk around, enjoy with friends, not to stay out this late! Where the hell were you?"
Yash, holding back tears, voice shaking, says, "Yes boss… sorry… won't happen again… never…" His eyes red, but he tells the boss nothing.
He slowly goes to his room, every step painful, closes the door, and lies on the bed. He groans in pain but stays quiet. And here we see something—on his back, a large tattoo of a fire-breathing dragon, right in the center, glowing proudly on Yash's back, like the secret of his hidden strength…
