Chapter 39 - Book 2 / Chapter 19 =The Battle for Wonderland

The Battle for Wonderland:

(1911 A.D., The Old Fortress City of Zal-Vengoth, the Realm of Ishrakie)

The battle of Der Schlafende Wald was a massive success for the Wonderlandian Resistance thanks to the nature-bending magic of the Caterpillar. The Red Queen had fallen for their trap, sending her the Second Legion of Diamonds ( about 1000 Cardmen ) and her First Legion of Spades ( about 1000 Cardmen ) to attack a decoy supply route set up by the Resistance as bait. Once the Queen's forces attacked the convoy, the Resistance sprung the trap. The Caterpillar used his powers to order all the Somno-Flowers to release their sleeping spores on the Queen's forces, rendering them completely defenseless to the blades of the Resistance. For the Queen, the battle was a total loss that cost her the lives of 2,000 of her finest soldiers. Though the queen still has plenty of blood to spare in this war and her determination to win grows by the day.

The Red Queen had enough of her husband's petulance and the grave threat his Resistance Forces represented to her rule. Her scouts had located the primary fortress from which her husband is running his little war against her. And now, with the largest army ever assembled in the history of Wonderland, she marches out to meet her former love on the field of battle to determine the control of Wonderland once and for all.

*****

All of the gathered forces of the King's-Resistance stand at the ready in defensive positions inside the various defensive perimeter, courtyards and choke-points of the now restored Old Fortress City of Zal-Vengoth. The lower-ranked soldiers, for the most part, are grimly silent. The officers tersely discuss strategy before lapsing into silences of their own.

The Mad-Hatter's Tea Droids stand at the ready in defensive positions along the first and second great perimeter walls of the mighty fortress. The moment they had all been preparing for has arrived… and with the Queen's army now here… the greatest battle in the history of wonderland will begin… the last battle… the end of an age one way or another.

The Red King and his inner-circle stand battle ready in the throne room of the restored fortress observing the battle at a distance via a repaired and recharged Scry-Mirror.

"Think she might be mad at you sir. That's quite an army she brought. I think she has more than a firm spanking in mind," Sir Rethinold jokes, noting the immense size of the army summoned to war by the Red Queen.

"I think you're right," the Red King laughs, looking contemplatively into the mirror. He alters its focus to zoom in closer on her actual forces.

"Well, it looks like she brought her First Legion of Diamonds and The Third Legion of Spades, that's 20,000 men right there," Sir Thrain chimes in.

"Well, we always expected to be outnumbered and with just a 2 to 1 situation it could have been a lot worse," Sir Rethinold replies.

"Jabberwocky is nowhere to be seen… That's concerning, she must be saving it for the opportune moment?" Sir Thrain notes nervously.

"Be vigilant, Erithell, you are our only chance against that awful, we're depending on you," instructs the Red King to his demonic companion.

"Your command is my will," Erithell replies with a brief but respectful bow before disappearing into some nearby shadows in the corner of the room.

"She's ordered the attack," Sir Rethinold remarks, noticing the Red Queen giving the single of attack

"Here we go… Gentleman, I'll say it now just in case… it's been an honour and a privilege," the Red King replies, equipping his helmet and drawing his blade.

"The honour is ours, sire," Sir-Thrain replies, kneeling to his king and friend and kissing his ring before moving into guard position just outside the room.

"He loves you, ya know? Has since we were kids," Sir Rethinold muses.

"I know. He is not exactly subtle, plus he accidentally told me that day when I almost died in the bog all those years ago… the day Erithell saved me," the Red King answers with a loving smile.

"You ever plan to do anything about it?" Sir Rethinold punches his king playfully in the arm.

"You kidding? Until the end of this battle, I'm married, but if we survive I would be more than happy to consider this a divorce… and then you can bet, I will give him a chance," the Red King replies with an amused laugh.

The battle begins with the roar of war trumpets and the unleashing opening volleys of artillery against the reinforced monolithic walls of the great fortress. Between the intermittent artillery bombardments, waves of the queen's Cardsmen try to scale the walls of Zal-Vengoth only to be met by boiling jets of scalding-hot tea from the Hatter's Tea-Droids. The gearwork golems unleash their searing herbal blends upon the Red Queen's frontline forces adding to the Red Queen's early losses and her quickly rising anger.

"IT'S GOOD TO SEE THE WALLS ARE STILL VERY STRONG, BUT CAN YOU PLEASE DO SOMETHING ABOUT THAT INCOMING ANYWAYS?" the Hatter asks the Red King through the Scry-Mirror. The Hatter screams in order to be louder than the sound of the Artillery.

"Sir Rethinold, you're up," the Red King answers, nodding to his nearby companion who taps the Scry-Mirror causing it to refocus on a commander standing in one of the fortress's courtyards filled with dozens of deployed and ready-to-fire artillery platforms.

"Time to show them that our boom is bigger, boys," Sir Rethinold proclaims to the commander who nods and signals the artillery to fire. Within seconds, the sky fills with the Wonderlandian Resistance counter-artillery. Using target tracking data from the Tea Droids on the walls, the Artillery finds its targets, essentially wiping out all the Red Queen's available artillery in a single volley.

"SIT ON IT AND SPIN, YOU SCARLET CARDS OF TIN!" the Hatter bellows, dancing a jig in his high place up on the wall with his droids.

"Confirmed, enemy Artillery destroyed sir," Sir Rethinold reports to the Red King as the commander on the other side of the scry-mirror immediately begins preparing their artillery for another volley.

"Well, she won't be happy about that," the Red King laughs.

Round 1 goes to the Resistance but the battle is far from over and as the Red Queen finally unleashes her Trump-Card; The Jabberwocky.

*** ( Meanwhile at the White Tower in Old Wonderland ) ***

High in the main-observation room at the top floor of the White-Tower, Ishrakie sits on her glowing-white crystalline throne with her body and mind nexused into the tower's large control sphere placed before her. She is surrounded by her inner circle. Unfortunately, Queen Ozma had been forced to return to Oz, despite Ishrakie's weakening condition. Something which has only added more pressure on Alice as Ishrakie's heir.

While Alice's training has been progressing much faster and more effectively than before thanks to the added help from Dorothy, she is still nowhere near where they all hoped she'd be at this point and she knows it. She is not yet a true witch like Ishrakie nor is she even a fighter like Dorothy. She is aware that in the current situation and the battle about to begin, she is little more than a glorified incubation chamber for Ishrakie's goddess-seed. Make no mistake, it is a role she is honoured to fulfil for the one who first breathed life into her, but in the current situation, she cannot help but feel just how useless she really is.

Alice sits nervously next to Ishrakie, fearful of what the coming battle will have in store for them. Her only saving comfort keeping her from panicking already is the warmth and protection of Dorothy's powerful loving arms wrapped around her from behind, holding her close. She lets the warmth of Dorothy's bosom pressed against her back soothe her as Dorothy's intoxicating scent calms her nerves.

"We have received word that the battle for Zal-Vengoth has begun and the Red Queen has done exactly as expected. It seems she has sent the Princes of Aces to attack us, they shall be here shortly. Also, we have located the two full armadas of Sky-Ships sent by Hook to aid the Red Queen; they are closing in on the battle. Their loss would be very… problematic for the Red Queen's success," Cheshire reports.

"Indeed," Ishrakie replies as she fires a massive wave of power through her body and into the White-Tower Control Sphere causing it to lock onto the Air-Ships and unleash a powerful horizon-splitting bolt of pure energy from the tower.

Cheshire snaps his fingers, summoning a viewing screen linked to the Red King's Scry-Mirror.

"Great shot; all targets destroyed. The Red Queen is going to be fuming about that. Good thing your heads are far away from her axes. Thank you again for the assist, and good luck with the fight on your end," the Red King muses to them via the link before closing the connection on his end for now.

"Dorothy it is time for you and Cheshire to head downstairs and greet our unwelcome guests," the lunar witch instructs from her throne.

"Right away." Dorothy pulls Alice into a brief but deep kiss before following Cheshire out of the room.

WHY DOES SHE HAVE TO TASTE SO FUCKING GOOD, both girls think in unison.

"Good luck, mother. I love you. I hope you know that," Cheshire proclaims to Ishrakie before shutting the door behind him.

Alice cannot help but notice his voice sounds off… tainted.

Is he scared? For himself or… maybe, for Ishrakie?

The four Princes of Aces are already gathered in the large round foyer of the tower as Cheshire and Dorothy descend the stairs toward them.

"Oh look, the vermin have already made themselves at home," Cheshire comments as he adjusts his hat.

"IN THE NAME OF THE LUNAR WITCH OF GATES AND THE ALL-MOTHER OF THE WHITE TOWER! YOU ARE ALL COMMANDED TO HALT YOUR BREACH OF THIS SACRED TEMPLE AND RETURN TO THE DARK DEPTHS FROM WHENCE YOU CAME!" Dorothy proclaims firmly with a menacing grin at the four intruders.

"Oh boy, hear that my brothers. We are commanded to leave. It looks like we are in trouble. You could just give us the little blonde girl, and we will be on our way," the Ace Prince of Hearts explains mockingly.

"Not going to happen. I order you to leave before you get hurt," Dorothy laughs.

"Really, oh dear. This could be serious, boys. The little naked girl might get mad at us if we stay," the Ace Prince of Clubs jokes.

The Ace Prince of Diamonds finishes his cup of tea and places it down on a nearby table before moving silently to join his brothers.

"She's cute… she will make a perfect new play toy for me when I claim her as my spoils of war. Oh yes. I will have lots of fun wrecking her," the youngest of them, the Ace Prince of Spades, chimes in.

"Sorry, but it sounds like that's a resounding 'NO' from all of us," the Ace Prince of Hearts replies.

"Exactly the answer I was hoping for," Dorothy muses, cracking her knuckles.

"I'll take care of Hearts, Diamonds, and Clubs you take Toy-Boy Spades, afterall he did call you cute," Cheshire suggests, smiling with anticipation.

"If you insist," Dorothy nods, walking forward to the bottom of the stairs and gesturing for the Ace Prince of Spades to 'have at her'.

"No crying or begging NO when I win, because it only makes me more excited," the Ace Prince of Spades warns.

"Fine, but I expect the same when I win," Dorothy jokes with a mock 'kiss me' gesture as the Prince of Spades suddenly leaps toward her. Reacting fast, she snaps her fingers right before he can make contact with her suddenly warping reality and completely shifting the axis of gravity, sending them both falling down a bottomless vortexing pit of glowing white crystal. She snaps her fingers again, causing a now quickly approaching bottom covered in jagged crystal spikes to form. Dorothy mid-fall grabs the Prince of Spades forcing his body into just the right position to fall directly on one of the spikes, Vlad the Impaler style. It pierces him right through his perineum straight up through his torso and out his mouth. The still alive but completely defenceless prince writhes on the great spike as blood pours down the spike. Dorothy lands gracefully and proceeds to rip open the front of the prince's pants exposing his manhood.

"Really, are you fucking serious? This is what you were planning to use on me. My futa-dick's a monster compared to this little thing," Dorothy unceremoniously grabs his genitals, balls and all, and rips it from his body. She examines it for a moment.

"Pathetic," she comments before crushing it into a bloody destroyed mass in her fist. She tosses it to the ground before snapping her fingers again, immediately teleporting herself back to the foyer of the tower to help Cheshire in the fight against the other princes leaving the Prince of Spades to quickly bleed out and die.

"You look disappointed," Cheshire laughs, seeing Dorothy reappear in the room nearby as he continues to effortlessly evade every flurry of strikes the remaining three princes keep trying to wallop him with.

"Yeah, little Prince of Spades didn't even land a hit… his dick was so small by the way… anyways he's dead now. Hear that I killed your little bitch brother," Dorothy teases, causing the Ace Prince of Hearts to turn his aggression toward her.

"BURN!" the Prince of Hearts yells, stretching forth his hand towards Dorothy unleashing a massive wave of fire. Dorothy just laughs as she swats the massive wave of incoming fire away.

"What is happening? Why are none of our powers working?" the Prince of Hearts cries as he and his remaining brothers regroup on the opposite side of the room from Cheshire and Dorothy.

"The answer is simple really. As we said, this tower is sacred and you have no power here. It is not your fault. Your dear Red Queen is ignorant to the true nature of Wonderland's magic so she had no way of knowing that when she sent her strongest champions here to kill our little Alice, she was sending you here to die," Cheshire explains, removing his hat.

"Impossible, kill them," the Ace Prince of Hearts demands to his brothers. The Prince of Diamonds rushes Cheshire as the Prince of Clubs rushes Dorothy. Cheshire aims the opening of his hat at the incoming opponent, causing a massive basilisk to suddenly emerge from it and swallow the Prince whole before disappearing back into the hat as if it had never been there at all. Dorothy just chuckles as the Prince of Clubs' fist connects with her jaw. She stands there and takes the hit clearly unphased.

"We did warn you. You should have left when you had the chance," Dorothy scolds cooly as her whole body suddenly transforms into shimmering luminescent emerald. Terrified at the emerald goddess before him, the prince turns and tries to run, but Dorothy shoves her fist into his body, gripping his spine and with a solid single yank she rips it out causing his body to fall to the ground with a hard wet thud.

Dorothy tosses the bloodied spine to the ground as the last prince desperately tries to open the great locked doors of the tower.

"Coward," Dorothy mutters, disgusted as she summons a great emerald spear and leaps at him and with a single clean strike she slices him in half, ending the battle.

"Well that was boring," Cheshire yawns, summoning a scry-link to the Red King.

"We defeat the Princes of the Aces. We are sending you the remains, please make sure the Red Queen receives all our love and best wishes," Cheshire continues snapping his fingers, causing the remains of the princes to disappear from the tower foyer.

"Yes, send the remains to our Artillery commander and he will make sure your gift and message are delivered promptly," the Red King replies. Cheshire sends the remains to the commander and then closes the link so the Red King can give the new instructions to the commander concerning the remains.

"We best head back upstairs," Dorothy suggests as Cheshire nods in agreement.

*** ( Back at the Old Fortress City of Zal-Vengoth ) ***

The deaths of the Princes of Aces means Round 2 also goes to the Wonderlandian Resistance though the battle is far from over as the Jabberwocky's opening assault is devastating. Teleporting onto the battlefield at the behest of the Red Queen, the great infernal beast wastes no time in unleashing the Queen's wrath. The first thing it does upon arriving at the battle is to unleash a massive energy blast from its mouth, blowing a devastating hole in the First Outer Perimeter Wall, killing several of the Hatter's Tea-Droids and allowing the Red Queen's Cardmen to being breaching the first inner buffer zone of the fortress.

Erithell quickly moves in, engaging the Jabberwocky in battle, leading it high into the air in order to draw its destructive aggression away from the fortress and itself and the Resistance therein.

The Red Queen's ground forces surge through the broken perimeter wall, engaging the first detachment of Resistance forces inside in bloody combat. The violence is brutal and chaotic.

"I have the beast's attention, and I am drawing it as high as I can. I suggest you get ready to fire," Erithell recommends.

"Understood. The Bolter-Cannoneers are already lining up the shot. Okay, I just got word… On the count of three, I want you to turn and stun it," the Red King replies.

"You got it."

"One… Two… THREE!" the Red King finishes, causing Erithel to suddenly turn on the Jabberwocky pursuing her, and unleashing a devastating flash of dazzling plasmatic light. The Jabberwocky is rendered instantly stunned and defenceless, completely unable to see or avoid the devastating wave of massive telephone pole-sized armour piercing bolts flying right at it. Ground forces are also temporarily stunned as for the briefest of moments the dark of the night is made bright as day by Erithell's overwhelming radiance. By the time the light fades and the beast's senses return, it is too late as three of the massive tree-sized bolts burying themselves deep into its chest causing the Jabberwocky gargantuan monstrous body to fall hard to the ground with a world-shaking bang.

With the death of the Jabberwocky, Round Three is firmly on the side of the Resistance but no victory is celebrated because though they had slayed the queen's beast, her forces still breached the First Outer Perimeter Wall. The first detachment of Resistance therein fights with the valour and courage of true heroes defending a noble cause, the Queen's Forces are simply too many.

"FALL BACK! GET YOUR MEN BEHIND THE SECOND OUTER PERIMETER WALL! ME AND MY DROIDS WILL HOLD THEM FOR AS LONG AS WE CAN!" the Mad Hatter calls down to the commander of the first detachment, from his high vantage point up on the wall with his droids, it is more clear to him than even to the commander just how bad the fight is going. The commander knows that he is losing men too fast, takes the Hatter's advice, and orders the full-scale retreat of his remaining forces. With most of their men now slaughtered, the remaining soldiers in the first detachment retreat behind the Second Outer Perimeter Wall.

"HEY, YOU MAD QUEEN OF MINE! HOW'S THIS FOR MURDERING TIME?!" the Hatter bellows as his tea droids unleash boiling earl grey hell onto her forces from their high positions along the walls and towers, providing cover for the first detachments retreating forces.

Screams of agony fill the air as entire advancing lines of Cardsmen are melted and burned by the scolding herbal rain pouring down on them.

The Queen's rage gives way to a wicked smile as she finally receives the report from Hook she had been waiting for, a surprise for the prancing Mad Hatter that has long been a thorn in her side, a surprise that is now ready to be revealed.

The Hatter's valiant efforts provide the remaining forces of the first detachment time to retreat, but victory turns to tragedy as two full armadas of Hook's Pirate Air-Ships uncloak just above the fortress. They had used their stealth shields to position themselves above the battle undetected. The Hatter does not retreat with his droids, there is no point and he knows it… It is already too late.

He offers no final words of defiance… there is nothing to say. So with one last smile, he raises his head to face the armadas. With a truly jovial smile and a pair of finger guns firing, he accepts his fate.

"It's time to come home, my child. You have done so well, your fight is over. The warmth of eternal rest is waiting for you." Ishrakie's voice whispers deep in the maternal part of the Hatter's mind as the Air-Ships unleash their full fury upon him. The entire First and Second Outer Perimeter Walls on which the Hatter and his Droids stand are engulfed in an Earth-Shattering bombardment of Cannon Fire, Directed-Energy Bolts and Air-to-Surface Missiles. And just like that, the Hatter's droids are destroyed and the Hatter himself is seemingly incinerated completely. With both the First and Second Outer Perimeter Walls completely destroyed, the Red Queen's forces flow like a tidal wave of death and destruction into the fortress.

"Both the outer walls have been breached, the fall of the fortress is inevitable. We need to save as many lives as we can. Order a full retreat, Wonderland belongs to the Red Queen… Order the troops to fall back to the evacuation portals while they still can," the Red King orders, his heart clearly heavy with the weight of the moment.

"Right away," Sir Rethinold replies, activating the Scry-Mirror and ordering the full retreat as instructed. "FALL BACK! ALL FORCES RETREAT TO THE PORTALS WHILE YOU CAN! WONDERLAND IS LOST!"

"Erithell, the battle is lost, converge on me. We are evacuating to the Emerald City of Oz," the Red King instructs as Sir Thrain steps back into the room and seals the door behind him to buy them time. Within minutes, the Red Queen and her forces breach the room to find it empty and the rest of the fortress abandoned as the last of the evacuation portals close.

Another devastating beam from Ishrakie's tower wipes out the two Air-Ship Aramadas that had just moments before won the battle for the Red Queen. The Red Queen, furious at her husband's escape and eager to turn her attention to the last remaining threat to her rule in Wonderland, reaches out telepathically to Captain Hook.

"Hook, that blasted White Tower protecting that wretched girl, Alice, just took out the last of the Air-Ship Aramadas you sent us. Can you please do something about it?" the Red Queen requests.

Hook growls as a flash of blinding light explodes in his face, dazzling him and causing Peader's brutalised body to vanish from the battlefield. Furious at Pan's vanishing and feeling blue-balled and denied his sadistic pleasure, he acquiesces to the Red Queen's request. At least it will give him a chance to offer him a chance to vent his bloodlust.

"With wicked pleasure," Hook replies as he turns his attention towards the White Tower looming far beyond the horizon but not too far for him. He summons all the power he can from his own Pale Tower and leaps into the air, soaring high into the clouds. Then using the conjured power from the tower, he summons to himself millions of tons of rock, earth and molten ooze, forming a mountainous monolithic pilotable replica of himself made of magma and condensed mountain rather than flesh and bone.

*** ( Back at the White Tower in Old Wonderland ) ***

The skyscraper-sized stone and lava avatar of Hook takes off at a full-speed run towards the White Tower of Wonderland, quickly crossing beyond the horizon with its vast stride.

"REGARDS FROM THE RED QUEEN! DEAR COVEN OF DEFIANCE!" Hook's voice thunders through his avatar as his great molten stone fists collide like great falling meteors with the glowing White Tower. The impact from the avalanche of Hook's punches shakes the whole structure of the tower to its foundations and sends powerful shockwaves reverberating through the facility. The neural feedback from Hook's brutal bombardment of punches causes Israhkie to cry out in heart-rending agony.

"The report just came in. Zal-Vengoth has fallen. Wonderland is lost. We need to evacuate to Oz while we still can," Cheshire explains sternly.

"GO! EVAC ALICE AND DOROTHY TO OZ! ALICE IS ALL THAT MATTERS NOW!" Ishrakie barks painfully as Hook continues to slam the tower.

"NOT WITHOUT YOU!" Cheshire and Alice counter at the same time.

The wound in Ishrakie's chest reopens and begins to grow under the strain of trying to maintain what little power she has left.

Please... mother. He's going to kill you," Cheshire continues, pleadingly as tears stream from his eyes… Alice has never seen him cry, and it drives the dagger of the moment deeper into her heart.

"This was always meant to be my end… my last part to play. This is Alice's fight now. I have already made the appropriate alterations to your codes. She is now your Prime-Admin. GO NOW! PLEASE!" Ishrakie orders through gritted teeth as Cheshire nods in broken-hearted surrender to her wishes.

"I CAN'T LEAVE YOU. I WON'T… I LOVE YOU!" Alice sobs as her heart bleeds.

"I know," Ishrakie whispers tenderly to Alice, offering her one last tearful yet loving smile before shoving the young girl away and turning her attention back to the megalithic avatar of Hook attacking the tower.

"ALICE! WE HAVE TO GO NOW!" Dorothy demands as she and Cheshire both grab Alice and begin trying to drag her to the nearby evac portal as she kicks, screams and pleads to stay with the father of her child.

"I CALL UPON THE POWER OF ALL LIFE THROUGHOUT THE MULTIVERSE OF CREATION! GIVE ME THE POWER TO STOP THIS EVIL THREATENING ALL OF CREATION!" Ishrakie proclaims with all the might she can muster and with whatever little power she has left causing a magnificent eruption of dazzling light to erupt from the tower as Cheshire and Dorothy continue dragging Alice towards the Evac Portal. The light explodes upward parting the heavens as the energy of a trillion universes is channelled through the Vita-Vrillian Network of the Pale Towers and converges in a grand cosmic conflagration of divine light directly above Ishrakie's White Tower.

Hook continues to mercilessly wail on the tower, sending wave after wave of psionic pain into Ishrakie but with all the power of the towers finally gathered she unleashes her attack. With a scream of pure unbridled fury, she unleashed a massive and consistent cascading beam of sheer godly power at Hook.

"ARRRRRHHHHHHGGGGGGGGGG!" Hook roars, spewing lava from his mouth as the devastating power of Ishrakie's attack engulfs him. However, Hook is nothing if not determined as he endures the rapidly building pain. Hook knows what to do with pain… Pain has been his one true companion all his life and so he does what he always does with pain, he burns it into monstrous power-fueling wrath.

Ishrakie pushes it. Dredging her heart for every last ounce of pure-will it has left, but it is clear she is already spent and that she cannot maintain the attack for long. She pushes and pushes, but Hook just won't relent as he once again resumes his volley of asteroid-strike-like punches against the tower.

Cheshire and Dorothy almost get Alice through the portal when suddenly Hook's bloodthirsty voice reverberates through the tower like the voice of a vengeful god ready to smite.

"YOU ARE NOTHING TO ME. MY PAIN BECOMES MY RAGE! AND MY RAGE BECOMES MY POWER! AND YOU, MY WRETCHED WITCH, HAVE NOTHING LEFT!" Hook snarls.

"I, LORD ISHRAKIE, THE LUNAR WITCH OF GATES! ARCHITECT OF THE MULTIVERSE! ALL-MOTHER OF THE WHITE TOWER AND ALL HER SISTERS THROUGHOUT THE MULTIVERSE ORDER YOU TO…"

But before she can even finish Hook slams the tower with his strongest most destructive punch yet. The psionic backlash powerfully launches Ishrakie backward into a nearby wall with a loud sickening crunch of shattering bones. The searing beam raining down on Hook glitches out and vanishes as the glowing lights of the tower flicker and start to grow dim as if losing power.

"ISHRAKIE! NOOOOOO!" Alice screams, slipping free of Cheshire and Dorothy's grasp and rushing over to her fallen beloved's body.

Alice breaks free from Dorothy's grip, stands where Ishrakie had stood before she was attacked, and begins to speak. She doesn't know what compels her to do this, or to say these words, but she knows that this is what she needs to do.

"WAKE UP! PLEASE WAKE UP! YOU HAVE TO WAKE UP! I NEED YOU! PLEASE WAKE UP!" Alice begs in tearful desperation. Ishrakie does not respond as her apprentice weeps into her breasts. The normally radiant glow of the goddess's skin fluctuates and goes out. Her pinkish pale blood forms a massive pool beneath her. Her once beautiful mesmerising eyes are now dull and glazed. The world shakes violently as all of Wonderland and the Neverlands quake with the dying breaths of the witch who created them.

"ALICE, PLEASE! SHE'S GONE! THERE IS NOTHING YOU CAN DO FOR HER! WE HAVE TO GO NOW!" Cheshire orders as he and Dorothy again grab Alice to start pulling her towards the portal once more, but before they can move her even a single step something buried in Alice's deepest self snaps. With a sudden massive thrust of psionic power, she launches them off her and rushes to the White-Tower Control Sphere.

"ALICE! WHAT ARE YOU DOING?" Dorothy shouts, but Alice can no longer hear her as her mind is consumed by the sudden explosion of this new sensation like lightning in her blood. She thrusts hands into the White-Tower Control Sphere as power rushes into her system, establishing the necessary control link.

"I, ALICE LORDELL! THE RIGHTFUL HEIR OF THE LUNAR WITCH OF GATES! CALL UPON THE POWER OF THE WHITE TOWER–"

"ALICE, NO! YOU AREN'T READY YET!" Cheshire screams, but it is suddenly no longer just Alice speaking. In her voice, he and Dorothy hear Ishrakie and the voice of countless other young girls, perhaps the millions of girls who have been sacrificed to maintain Ishrakie's power and the ones who are still supplementing the power of the tower from the battery chamber. The voices flow out of her, through the control sphere before then coalescing like some sort of storming electric vortex around the outside of the White Tower.

"AS THE CHOSEN SUCCESSOR OF MASTER ISHRAKIE! IN THE NAME OF THE ALL-MOTHER OF MOON AND ALL HER CHILDREN! I HEREBY PUNISH YOU FOR YOUR CRIMES AGAINST THE MULTIVERSE!" Alice and all those speaking through her declare as the sparking plasmatic vortex of lightning around the tower builds to a thundering crescendo, morphing into a giant avatar of Alice greater in scale than the White Tower itself. The avatar is made of pure shimmering blue electricity forged from all the rage and grief of Alice's shredded heart combined with all the righteous fury of Ishrakie's countless soul-bound children.

"HOOK!" Alice rages as all of the Neverlands and Wonderland reflect her wrath. The seas and oceans start churning and boiling as the sky scorches with lightning and thunder from horizon to horizon.

"FACE YOUR JUDGEMENT!"

"Alice Lordell, I presume" Hook's avatar sneers. "So, the little thorn in the Red Queen's side reveals herself at last. If you're facing me, then I take it that pathetic lunar bitch… oh, I'm sorry I mean witch is dead." Hook jeers.

"HOW DARE YOU MOCK HER! I'LL KILL YOU!" Alice thunders as she summons forth from the storming heavens a massive volley of hellish lightning strikes which she unloads on Hook to devastating effect, sending him recoiling in agony. While his guard is down, Alice rushes forward and decks him full force square in the jaw with a cacophonous thunderclap.

Hook counters by ripping up huge junks of the sea floor and hurling them at the plasmatic phantom of Alice. Alice blocks in the incoming boulders, conjuring forth a shield and sword forged of pure energy.

Hook tries to press Alice back by following his blocked bolder attack by rearing back his jaws opening wide… as if unhinged. Alice advances furiously toward him, but as she tries to close in on him, a sudden massive projectile stream of searing lava erupts from Hook's mouth. Alice just barely manages to put up a shield. Searing flame erupts from the control sphere, igniting the flesh of Alice's arms as her brain translates the psionic pain of the avatar and makes it real.

The pain in her arms quickly builds to sheer agony as she can feel the shield of her avatar, allowing more of the psionic pain to get through to her. Thinking fast, she tucks and rolls backward out of range of the lava and, before Hook can even notice she moved, she digs deep down into her soul to scratch and claw every last bit of power she can and unleashes it in the form of an all-powerful ultima-blast of righteous electric judgement. This explodes through the heart of Hook's avatar, striking him directly and sending his unconscious body flying backward into the ocean nearly ten kilometres away.

With the battle over and her desire for revenge at least slightly sated, the power that infused Alice fades… her avatar vanishes and her mind flees back to her flesh and blood body inside the White Tower.

Alice finally disengages from the control sphere as she falls backward into Dorothy's loving arms, screaming in pain from her severely burned arms. The rapidly dimming lights of the tower suddenly go out completely.

"WE HAVE TO GET HER THROUGH THE PORTAL NOW! WITH ISHRAKIE DEAD, THE TOWER IS GOING INTO LOCKDOWN MODE!" Cheshire barks as he rushes over and picks up his mother's corpse and he gestures for Dorothy and Alice to follow him through the Evac Portal to Oz. Dorothy picks up Alice, bridal style, and does as he suggests. And with that, the forces of goodness and justice are forced to abandon Wonderland as the last of the Evac Portals close behind them.
