Chapter 254 - Chapter 135: Harry vs. Voldemort 2 (4000 Words)

Pansy instinctively jumped back.

Voldemort?

Tom Riddle?

Is there any connection between these two?

"What are you talking about? I don't understand!" Pansy retreated a few more steps.

Harry snapped his fingers, and creeping vines wrapped around Pansy's legs.

"You know exactly what I'm asking, Miss Parkinson." Harry asked unhurriedly, "Since you managed to get into Slytherin's Secret Chamber, it proves you have a notebook in your possession... It belongs to Tom Marvolo Riddle... Or rather, she claims she's Melop, right?"

Pansy's expression turned to shock. She instinctively shielded her stomach area with her arms.

The name Harry just mentioned—how could she not know it?

The notebook she was clutching in her arms right now was Tom Riddle's.

As for Melop…

Wasn't Miss Melop the one who tutored everyone in Slytherin last year?

What was the relationship among those three?

"But what he never told you is, in fact... he is Voldemort."

Harry smiled at Pansy. If you ignored the events leading up to this, Harry actually seemed more of the villain between them.

"Impossible! Absolutely impossible!" Pansy retorted, "How could Mr. Tom be You-Know-Who! You're lying!"

As she spoke, red light still flickered in Pansy's eyes.

Harry quietly cast a Detection Spell and discovered more eerie red glow flickering on Pansy.

At this point, Harry could basically conclude that Pansy was under Voldemort's control now.

But he didn't know where Voldemort's real body was, let alone use any method that might harm Pansy Parkinson to get rid of Voldemort—firstly, he had no idea if Pansy was acting of her own free will; secondly, Pansy was, after all, a Hogwarts student. No matter what, Harry couldn't do it.

There was another thing: if he ended up killing both Pansy and Voldemort, he wouldn't be able to explain himself to Dumbledore, much less to the professors who'd cared for him all this time.

So he decided to try another way.

"Let me remind you of something: the Voldemort that you Pure-blood Clans worship is actually a half-blood." Harry began straightforwardly trash talking, "Did you know? Voldemort's real name is Tom Marvolo Riddle…"

As he spoke, Harry waved his magic wand, drawing crackling lines of fire in the air.

Voldemort's name was written above.

"Look, if you switch up the order, it's... 'I am Voldemort.'"

"Besides, I know you come from a Pure-blood Family—the Parkinson family, right? You have to know: among the Pure-blood Clans, there isn't a single house by the name of Riddle."

"What does that have to do with You-Know-Who?" Pansy asked, eyes reddening.

Harry glanced at the increasingly radiant red glow in Pansy's eyes and continued, "What I'm about to tell you concerns last year's so-called Miss Melop—Goodness, after Professor Dumbledore's investigation, he found that Voldemort's mother was called Melop Gaunt…"

"Know what? That shameless Melop, just because she fancied a handsome young Muggle lord, used a Love Potion in the most disgraceful way—she invaded that poor Mr. Muggle for a whole year, I can't even begin to imagine what kind of hell Mr. Riddle went through. When the potion finally wore off, Mr. Riddle was furious and threw the pregnant Melop out into the street."

"How can you say that about a witch! She did it for love!" Pansy's hair seemed to stand on end.

"Idiot." Harry sneered, "If a man who looked like a goblin spiked you with a Love Potion and made you bear his child, would you say he deserved to die? So... Melop, who tricked Mr. Riddle, isn't she just trash? Really, Parkinson, can you not be so double-standard? Just because the perpetrator's a woman, she gets a pass? I don't know what kind of garbage is swirling around inside your head."

"Alright, let me go on—so Melop Gaunt lost the will to live. After giving birth to Tom Riddle, she left him in an orphanage and ended herself on a snowy night." Harry spread his hands, "Of course, the child is innocent—if only young Tom Riddle had grown up to be an upstanding student."

"But you already know the rest. As a half-blood wizard, he actually ended up leading the Pure Blood movement, even fooling all of you Pure-blood Families... My God, the biggest cheerleader of Pure-blood theory is a half-blood born from a Muggle and a witch. That's just the biggest joke in the world…"

Harry hadn't finished when Pansy raised her hand, firing off a streak of deadly green light.

A giant stone hand suddenly rose from the ground, snatched up the green light, and snuffed it out completely.

"Triggered." Harry stuck his thumb out at Pansy.

Pansy's hair rose wildly, strand by strand, she looked absolutely furious.

"I was talking about that shameless, forcefully-attaching criminal Melop—why are you so mad?" Harry asked Pansy, cool as ever, "Don't tell me... ah, don't tell me you're the child of that forcefully-attaching criminal, Tom Marvolo Riddle?"

"Jesus, if your father knew that after your mother forced herself on him, she named the child after him—and used her last drop of magic power to make sure you'd look just like him—I think your dad would puke hard enough to go insane."
