Chapter 286 - Chapter 142: Duel—But Vivi vs. Dumbledore

After hearing his sister's furious threat, Gellert felt both sad and delighted.

The sadness was that Al probably couldn't escape the fate of being disciplined by his sister either.

The delight was that someone would join him in this discipline—especially Al, was there anything more delightful than this?

"Dumbledore is indeed annoying, but you..."

Vivi snorted, raised her magic wand, and the two sofas beside her transformed into armored knights, lifting Gellert into the air from both sides.

"Enough, Vivi." Harry reached out and tugged Vivi's arm, "Gellert is already so old, he can't withstand your magic..."

"Scarhead!" Gellert suddenly shouted.

"I suggest you roast the soles of his feet with flames," Harry suggested, "That way, he can feel the pain without you actually killing him."

"Not a bad idea." Vivi gave Harry an approving look, and a small flame lazily flew to the bottom of Gellert's feet.

"What are you guys doing?" Gellert shouted in panic, "Let me go! Let me go!"

...

Dumbledore, who rushed hurriedly from Hogwarts, was already standing at the entrance of Nimongard Castle.

Since Professor McGonagall told him about the name on the Book of Admission, he hadn't slept well that night, dreaming of just two words—

So he got up in the middle of the night, not having time to change clothes, and simply threw on a robe before heading to Nimongard.

As he stood at the entrance, he suddenly sensed something was amiss.

On either side of the entrance were several Austrian Aurors lying on the ground, some of whom hadn't even drawn their magic wands and were stuck in place, unable to move.

What happened here?

A few possibilities flashed quickly through his mind.

First, Grindelwald finally grew restless and wanted to make a comeback; second, maybe someone was forcing their way into Nimongard just for a chance to meet Grindelwald.

As for who this person might be...

Could it be Tom?

However... if it was Tom, these Aurors wouldn't have been simply petrified.

Dumbledore fished the Elder Wand out of his pocket, regardless of the possibility, he wouldn't let his guard down.

Walking through the castle gate, after using several detection spells, Dumbledore finally confirmed there were no ambushes here.

He climbed the steps with Phoenix Fawkes.

As he reached the third floor, he suddenly heard a sound from inside that was both crying and laughing.

It was Gellert's voice, it seemed to be begging for mercy, yet it didn't quite sound like it.

Dumbledore knew his old friend's character very well; making him humble himself and begging for mercy was as hard as climbing the sky—Gellert Grindelwald was a man proud to the point of arrogance, holding his head high, he never conceded even after losing to Dumbledore in duels four or five years ago.

Yes, but if he could have softened even a little, how could things have come to this between them?

Dumbledore adjusted his half-moon glasses, waved his wand, and opened the door.

However, the scene before him startled him.

Gellert Grindelwald was hanging high from the ceiling, with two clusters of violet flames roasting the soles of his feet below.

His legs kept retracting due to the burning, but it seemed he'd been hanging for too long and was already exhausted.

On a sofa not far away sat two people.

One of them was someone he could never have imagined.

"Harry?" Dumbledore asked with a frown, "What are you doing here?"

"Hello, Professor Dumbledore." Harry nodded politely, "Oh, me? I'm just here for the spectacle."

"Shut up, you scarhead!" Gellert shouted.

But the flames seemed to intensify because of his words, burning even more fiercely than before.

"What on earth is going on?"

Dumbledore didn't relax because of Harry's presence; instead, he grew even more vigilant.

"If I were you, I would get me down first," said Gellert cheekily from the ceiling, "Dumbledore, you alone can't beat her..."

Meanwhile, Vivi also rose from her seat.

She walked with a light yet elegant step before standing in front of Dumbledore.

Seeing the star and moon adorned pajamas under Dumbledore's robe, she paused for a moment but still looked at Professor Dumbledore nonchalantly.

Dumbledore took a slight step back, but Fox let out a clear cry, flapped its wings, and landed joyfully on Vivi's shoulder, looking quite pleased.

"Hello, Professor Dumbledore." Vivi curtsied with impeccable elegance, "Let me introduce myself, my name is Vilatia Elizabeth Emali Grindelwald."

"Hello." Dumbledore nodded hesitantly, "I know your name, it appeared on the Book of Admission."

However, Vivi's next words made Dumbledore's pupils suddenly enlarge.

"Also, I'm the sister of Gellert Grindelwald... I've heard you're his boyfriend?"

Ah, this...

Dumbledore never expected that the Grindelwald before him would...

No, it came back to him, he recalled hearing about this senior's exploits when he was a student.

Exterminating the Fire Ash Snake Faction, quelling the fairy rebellion, the Poacher of the Three British Isles disappeared because of her... there were even rumors that the extinction of the Mud Monster in England had a significant connection to this senior.

However, she was actually very low-key, and it was her companion charging in the front that was more remembered by others—Harry Potter.
