Chapter 414 - Chapter 177: Duel, but Cassandra vs Vivi (16,000 Words)

No...

Vivi suddenly sensed something amiss.

Her intuition told her that Mr. Leme seemed to be working on something very new.

At that moment, Mr. Leme slowly glanced at her with a mysterious smile.

"Alright, children," Mr. Leme said cheerfully, "This is exactly what I want. You should understand the heart of an old man accustomed to life and death. Though he's used to farewells, he still pursues the world's most beautiful genuine emotions."

Upon hearing this, Cassandra recoiled as if shocked.

"Don't worry," she said dismissively, waving her hand, "I only touch Potter to prolong life, unlike you with your head full of pink bubbles, Grindelwald."

"Oh—" Vivi gave a meaningful smile, "Alright, I'll tentatively believe that."

Mr. Leme nodded in satisfaction and sat back at his computer.

"Mr. Leme."

Vivi stood up and walked behind Mr. Leme.

"I'm listening," Mr. Leme said as he focused on clicking the computer interface with his mouse, "At least I'm listening now."

"I think you might be straying," she said, "regarding this computer."

"Straying?"

Mr. Leme put down the mouse he was fiddling with and looked at Vivi with interest, "Why don't you tell me, how am I straying?"

"I don't think we should develop in the direction predetermined by Muggles. We can learn from Muggles, but I believe we shouldn't lose our wizarding essence."

As Vivi said this, she leaned forward slightly, her tone carrying a natural allure.

Austrians seem easily born into being natural speakers, like Vivi...

Of course, the proudest thing for Austrians is making everyone think Beethoven was Austrian and everyone believe Little Moustache was German.

"Go on," Mr. Leme seemed persuaded by Vivi, nodding for her to continue.

"For example... we could possibly use Crystal Balls?" Vivi reached out and picked up a Crystal Ball from nearby, "Turn the Crystal Ball into something like this computer, or... into something with monitor functions. We could achieve through a Crystal Ball..."

As she spoke, Vivi used a Magic Spell to create something resembling a virtual screen in front of her, showing it to Mr. Leme.

"Like this, it seems like... a holographic image? We can understand it as such, with interaction done by clicking with hands, which would also train wizards' techniques in manipulating Magic Power."

This time, Mr. Leme was truly convinced by Vivi, his eyes glowing with great interest.

"Very good, very good," he murmured, "This is indeed a brilliant concept... Let me think about how to realize it..."

Seeing Mr. Leme captivated by the blueprint she depicted, Vivi turned halfway around and saw Harry giving her a thumbs-up discreetly at his abdomen.

Since the matter was temporarily resolved, and seeing Mr. Leme once again immersed in creating this new category of wizard computer, Harry and his group returned to the castle to continue their lessons.

Vivi did not follow Harry and the others back to the castle. She blatantly absorbed some Magic Power from Harry in front of Cassandra, then hurriedly left Hogwarts to continue her coursework in the Muggle World.

Pabi also merrily dashed back into the Forbidden Forest, leaving Cassandra and Harry alone on the road.

"Don't look at me like that, I know what you're thinking, Potter," Cassandra said disdainfully, looking at Harry, "But I won't cling to an opposite gender like that shameless Grindelwald."

At this, Cassandra suddenly stopped.

She looked down at Harry, arms crossed over her chest, smiling faintly.

"Of course—if you beg me, I'd consider given we're good friends..."

Harry looked at her strangely.

"Oh, beg you," he said somewhat sarcastically, "But thanks for the offer. My clothes aren't dirty yet, not to the point of needing a wash by the river."

Without stopping, he headed towards the castle.

Cassandra thought for a long time and couldn't understand what Harry meant...

A young lady untouched by spring water, and a Pure-blood Wizard, how could she possibly know how Muggles wash clothes?

But that didn't prevent the two from falling into a cold war again, just like Harry often experienced a hundred years ago.

Harry really didn't know how to start a conversation, while Cassandra felt a bit awkward.

She didn't actually want to distance herself from Harry, but somehow, whenever words were on the tip of her tongue, they always turned into something else, becoming not exactly what she thought, but at least entirely different.

Just as she reached the castle's door, Cassandra was called away by Professor McGonagall, who had been waiting at the door, leaving Harry to return to the long table alone.

It was dinner time, and the hall was bustling.

"Harry!"

Hermione saw Harry approaching from afar and raised her hand to beckon him.

Harry sat down at Gryffindor's long table beside Hermione and Ron.

Hermione was holding her new class schedule, and Ron was resting his face on his hands beside her, clearly not as happy as Hermione while looking at the schedule.

"Wow, that's great, I have a few new classes tomorrow," she said happily.
