Chapter 510 - Chapter 196: Defeated Dog Grindelwald

Scrub the back?

Harry suddenly became wide awake.

However, maintaining his gentlemanly demeanor, he politely declined Vivi's invitation.

After hanging up the phone, Harry took a deep breath and returned to his dormitory.

Honestly, it was really hard to resist the invitation from such a beautiful and charming older sister to bathe together, right?

Of course, after returning to the dormitory, Harry didn't forget to invite Neville and Seamus, but both of them needed to go home for Christmas.

"My mom says that unless she's dead one day, we have to spend the holiday together."

Seamus said helplessly, although he really wanted to spend the holiday with his friends.

"Grandma is home alone, I have to accompany her," Neville said obediently.

Of course, this is also what Neville had in mind, as both his parents are hospitalized at Saint Mangos, leaving only his grandmother at home. If he doesn't go home to keep her company, she would be alone at home during the holiday.

This would undoubtedly be a very sad thing for an elderly person.

Seamus's situation is quite special; his grandmother is an Italian wizard, so... his mother picked up some Italian habits.

"Then we'll send you gifts," Ron said regretfully. "Do you have any snacks you want? Maybe this holiday we can exchange some snacks."

"Let's try some new things from the Muggle World, there should be many nice drinks besides soda, right?" Neville asked curiously.

"Of course, Muggles are quite good at developing food and drinks," Ron said, patting his chest, as if he knew a lot about Muggles.

Anyone who didn't know would think he was a young wizard born from Muggles.

After all, Arthur Weasley, Ron's dad, is the head of the Department of Prohibition of Misuse of Muggle Items, so knowing about Muggle items isn't anything surprising.

Because the next day was the weekend, they weren't in a hurry to sleep, but rather chatting lively in the dormitory, envisioning their future after graduation.

If the fifth graders discussing such things is considered looking ahead, then for these third graders to start thinking about it, it's somewhat too early.

As the holiday approached, most students lost patience with studying, even those in the Dueling House were the same.

At the last Dueling House gathering before the Christmas holiday, everyone seemed distracted, pondering what they would do during the break.

Harry didn't say much, because he really didn't have time; Cassandra was dragging him to practice developing magic spells, just like a hundred years ago.

Floating on the ceiling, Sebastian's eyes were a bit moist.

They are back, all back!

That's exactly the feeling!

In the hall, there weren't many students studying, except for a few academic achievers like Hermione who crave good grades, and a few who genuinely love studying, and some students who even deceive themselves into thinking they're learning, most students were making noise, forming groups to play Wizard Chess or Poker.

"This is really shocking!" Ron exclaimed indignantly, clutching the Prophet Daily.

"What's wrong?" Someone nearby asked with concern.

"Look at this!" Ron angrily pointed to the content of the Prophet Daily: "The current Wizard Chess World Championship held in Seoul, because Hamilton didn't put the pieces on the chess box cover, was judged as a foul by Korean wizards according to the rules of Korean Wizard Chess, thus ruling Hamilton's defeat!"

"What? How shameless!" The students nearby said indignantly.

Though they don't follow Wizard Chess, such disgraceful behavior still blows their minds.

"I always said, look."

Hermione picked up the Korean flag from the Prophet Daily, pointing at it: "You see, red represents their brothers in the north always ready to move south; blue represents their constant friction with their American dad; black represents the cultural plagiarism from the neighboring suzerain state, white represents the nearly non-existent history... and..."

"And what else?" Ron raised his eyebrows, agreeing with Hermione's interpretation.

"And green, green represents the Korean people's sports spirit," Hermione said.

"But I didn't see green... oh! I understand!" Ron slapped his thigh and gave Hermione a thumbs up: "This interpretation is really great, I also think they're truly shameless..."

Harry remembered the teacher from Cao County a hundred years ago...

Truthfully, that teacher was indeed a scoundrel, at least according to Professor Garrick, and even more so according to Professor Hao Ying.

Professor Hao Ying was rather extreme; she would always mumble something like "barbarians ruin the nation," although Harry couldn't understand it.

"Alright, let's look at something cheerful." Neville put away the books on the table, "Even if we get angry, we can't change the outcome of the competition, we'll just have to wait for the Ministry of Magic to protest."

Protest from the Ministry of Magic?

Ron thought of the Minister of Magic, Cornelius Fudge...

Does he really have that backbone?

"Now's the time to strike hard!" Cassandra said from the side: "If we let such a small country bully the United Kingdom, then the United Kingdom will become a laughingstock in the world!"

"What's the point? We can barely handle Argentina," Hermione said dejectedly.

Cassandra apparently hadn't adjusted from a century ago, one might say, in Cassandra's era, whether it was the British Magic World or the Muggle World, they were a formidable presence worldwide.
