They reached the train station on the lower levels of the Escher fortress.
Hikari stepped into the carriage and laid down flat. Her muscles felt slightly cramped against the walls of the carriage.
The roof closed over her.
Ria boarded the carriage, taking a seat just in front of her right ear.
"It has been quite an eventful month hasn't it? Probably more so for you."
"Yea."
"You heard it just now haven't you? You have become quite the hero now. Ah.."

The noise of the train engine in the background.
The train began to move.
As the train reached a stable speed, Ria was able to stand up and walk towards Hikari.
"In the time you were gone, the railway between Escher and RazenHeir territory had been re-opened."
She stopped before the mass of silver hair in the ground.
"Say, when we get back to the estate. Well, you heard what Camilia said. The measuring people are coming."
"Hmm?"
Hikari tilted her head and pushed the mass of her hair behind it.
"Do you remember? Our enrollment to the academy is just around the corner. There's just some pre-enrollment screens we have to do once we get back to the estate."
Ria could feel the tracks rattling below as the giantess turned her entire body to face her.
"Our economy has stabilized thanks to you. The initial negotiation requests are coming in now that you have returned. We just have to do one more major raid before we have the funds to make you the greatest knight on the continent."
Carefully, Hikari turned her whole body to lay down on her side to face Ria.
Badum. Badum. Ria held her breath for a brief moment as the full Hikari's enormity covered her view.
"Ohh… you really have grown a lot bigger haven't you? I am barely at your knee height now."
"Hehe" Ria felt herself being pushed back by just the gentle giggle.
Her giant gloved hand carefully approached her tiny lady.
Her fingers are almost the length of her arm.
Gently, she pushed Ria's hair back with her finger tip.
"Ahh… we did some processing on the cavern caterpillar. The peaks had been closed off for a while so it was a bit of a bummer getting the workshop to dust off their old tools."
Hikari opens her palms to inspect her brown gloves.
"They're nice"
"Yes… the material is known to have poor mana properties. You can wear them whenever we're in public to avoid hurting anyone."
"Are they safe for you?"
"Yes, I'm sure they are."
Hikari wriggled her fingers before her.
Ria blushed and leaned her face forward.
Her lips briefly touched the rough surface.
"How is it?"
Ria closed her eyes and briefly checked her mana.
"I feel fine."
Hikari placed her hand flat on the ground.
Her lady got on her knees.
"Mmmm… kiss* I see my knight has gotten so much more powerful. I can't wait to see the telemetry on your stats. Mmm… "

"Yes.. very much. I love the thought of my knight being just so powerful. I can barely sleep at night thinking about you."

Ria heard Hikari's boots knocked against the walls of the carriage as she spread them.
Through the corner of her eye, she saw the other giant glove reach in under the giantess's skirt.

"Yes.. my knight… " Ria kissed Hikari's glove.
"There were hooded people at the entrance."

Ria kissed Hikari's gloves several times in succession.

"Ahh.." The train carriage rattled for a moment before Hikari reduced her movements.
The conversation stopped for a few minutes.
"Mmm…" Ria took out a napkin and wiped herself.
Out of a strange instinct, she turned her eyes left towards Hikari's skirt.
It had a layer of waterproofed leather sandwiched between the outer cloth to improve its hardness.
She swallowed. Her face grew red.
"Oh? Is my lady thinking about something?"
Hikari teased.
"Mm….! thats… "
"My lady's right, I'm wet"

Hikari could feel her tiny heart nearly bursting out of her cage.

She nods.
