Chapter 51 - chapter 50 ben learning something

Screen 1 — The Poisoned Land

Luffy, Ben, and Otama arrive at a barren wasteland on the edge of a bamboo forest.

The ground is cracked and dry. Rivers run black. The air smells wrong.

Wild beasts stagger nearby, their bodies twisted and weak from poison.

Otama looks down and speaks quietly.

"The factories upstream dump poison here. Kaido's people eat clean food in the Flower Capital… but places like this are left to die."

Luffy clenches his fists, teeth grinding.

"They have food and water… and you don't?"

Ben kneels beside one of the poisoned animals, scanning it with the Omnitrix. His expression hardens.

"This isn't just pollution. It's deliberate. They don't care who suffers as long as they stay comfortable."

Otama nods.

"That's how Wano is now."

Luffy stands up, fury clear in his voice.

"Then I'm beating Kaido. I'll make him give this country food and water."

Ben rises beside him, calm but dangerous.

"If a world lets children drink poison while monsters feast… then that world needs to be shaken."

Otama looks up at them, hope flickering in her eyes.

The three move forward together — toward Wano's heart, and toward Kaido.

Screen 2 — Reunion and the Magician of Kaido

Zoro reunites with Luffy and Ben at the edge of the ruined land.

His hand rests on his sword, eyes sharp.

Zoro speaks low.

"I saw them earlier. Soldiers using alien forms. Kaido's army isn't normal anymore."

Ben stiffens.

"So Albedo's tech reached Wano…"

Before they can say more, a calm voice cuts through the air.

Basil Hawkins steps forward, cards floating around him. His body crackles with electricity as he transforms.

"Your odds of survival," Hawkins says coldly, "are dropping rapidly."

His form shifts into Frankenstrike — towering, stitched, lightning crawling across his arms. Straw constructs rise behind him, voodoo dolls bound to Kaido's soldiers.

Hawkins raises one hand.

"Any damage you deal to me… will be transferred to them."

Lightning slams down. Frankenstrike swings, sending an electric shockwave through the ground.

Luffy dodges back.

"Tch, that's cheating!"

Zoro cuts through the shockwave, sparks flying off his blades.

"Doesn't matter. I'll cut what's real."

Ben steps forward, Omnitrix flashing.

"Then I'll take away his advantage."

FLASH.

"AmpFibian."

Ben dissolves into glowing blue bio-electric energy, hovering above the ground. The lightning bends toward him instead of his allies.

AmpFibian raises both arms and absorbs the electricity completely.

"Electrical output absorbed. Voodoo link detected."

He phases through the straw monster, disrupting the energy flow that connects Hawkins to his dolls. The straw puppets begin to twitch and fall apart.

Hawkins narrows his eyes.

"So you counter frequencies… troublesome."

Luffy charges in, stretching his arms.

"Then I'll hit him now!"

Zoro moves at the same time.

"Three Sword Style!"

With the link weakened, Hawkins blocks too late.

Zoro cleaves straight through the straw monster, splitting it in half. The voodoo dolls collapse into ash.

Hawkins staggers back, electricity fading.

"My calculation… was off."

AmpFibian floats down beside Luffy and Zoro, reforming into Ben.

Ben exhales.

"Magic tied to biology always breaks when you disrupt the signal."

Zoro smirks.

"Good teamwork."

Luffy grins.

"Heh. Kaido picked the wrong guys to guard this place."

Hawkins retreats into the shadows, voice calm but tense.

"This country will become a battlefield… and you three are already in its center."

The trio stands together, knowing one thing is clear.

Wano has changed — and the war has already begun

Screen 3 — Ben's Reaction in Okobore Town

Luffy, Zoro, and Ben continue traveling with Otama, who grows weaker with every step. Ben stays close, watching her breathing, jaw tight. He hates this part — when power means nothing against sickness.

They meet Tsuru, the tea house owner. She immediately understands Otama's condition and offers help. Ben bows his head slightly in respect.

"Thank you. You're saving more than one life today."

At the tea house in Okobore Town, chaos breaks out when a sumo wrestler tries to force Okiku into marriage. Zoro steps in, ready to cut him down, but Ben's hand lands on Zoro's shoulder.

"Not here. These people already suffer enough."

Ben notices pirates watching from afar — Bepo and Law's crew. His eyes narrow.

"Law's here… good. This country needs allies."

When they prepare the bitter medicine, Ben quietly monitors Otama, using his experience rather than alien tech. When the medicine works and Otama finally eats red bean soup, Ben freezes.

She smiles like it's the greatest treasure in the world.

That breaks him.

Ben turns away, fists clenched.

"This… this is what Kaido did? An entire country starving while monsters feast?"

Luffy's anger explodes, but Ben's rage is colder, heavier.

"In my world, villains hide behind armies. Here, they hide behind hunger."

He looks at Otama, then at Wano's ruined streets.

"I don't care how strong Kaido is. Anyone who does this to children doesn't deserve a throne."

Zoro nods silently.

Luffy growls.

Otama smiles, unaware she just gave them a reason to shake an Emperor.

Ben finishes quietly, but with absolute certainty:

"Wano isn't broken. It's being strangled. And we're cutting the hand that's doing it."

The war against Kaido becomes personal.
