Frieza continued to speed up and flee, but he noticed that Goku had not fallen behind at all.
Confused, he shouted, "What's going on? Why isn't the Saiyan monkey catching up to me?"
"Don't you even plan to kill me? Damn Saiyan… just wait. I will definitely gain power that surpasses yours!"
Just as Frieza desperately tried to escape, a figure suddenly appeared in front of him. It was Goku.
Frieza slammed on the brakes, horrified. "Why are you in front of me already? How did you do that, Saiyan?"
What Frieza couldn't understand was that he had been flying at full speed—but Goku had appeared in front of him in an instant.
This terrified Frieza. The Saiyan's speed was beyond anything he could imagine.
Goku floated calmly in the air, arms crossed. The reason he had appeared instantly was simple: instant teleportation.
By now, Goku could teleport effortlessly, almost as easily as traveling from Earth to Namek.
Frieza tried another trick, darting left, but Goku appeared in front of him again in a flash.
Even the arrogant Frieza finally understood: Goku's speed far surpassed his. Delaying further would only end in disaster.
Goku crossed his arms and smiled. "Frieza… why keep running? Run all you want! Maybe you'll escape… maybe not!"
"Haha! Saiyan monkey, you think you can beat me?" Frieza said arrogantly.
Despite his bold words, deep down he felt weak and unsure. He didn't know how he could escape.
Frieza fired a laser beam.
The moment the beam shot out, Goku vanished mid-air.
Before Frieza could react, a fist connected with his head, sending him tumbling from the sky to the ground.
Blood poured from his mouth.
Frieza shouted, frustrated: "Why… why are Saiyans so strong? Even a so-called Super Saiyan can't be this strong!"
Goku slowly descended and stood calmly before him. "Frieza… you have potential, but it's a pity you were never trained properly from birth. What a shame."
"What do you mean? Are you mocking me?" Frieza demanded, eyes fixed on Goku.
At that moment, the Z Warriors, Vegeta, and others arrived.
Seeing Frieza beaten and bleeding, they all smiled.
Goku's smile turned wicked. "Frieza… aren't you afraid of Super Saiyans? Then I'll show you what a real Super Saiyan is."
Everyone present froze, especially Frieza and Vegeta.
Frieza's eyes widened.
"Super Saiyan…" he muttered in disbelief.
The statement terrified him. According to Goku, he had not yet even tapped into Super Saiyan power—and he was already overwhelming Frieza.
What would happen once he truly transformed? Frieza dared not imagine.
Vegeta clenched his fists, muttering, "I knew that bastard Kakarot must have mastered Super Saiyan power… Otherwise, how could he be this strong?"
Goku unfolded his arms, previously crossed, and began to channel the energy of a Super Saiyan within his body.
Boom~~
The entire planet seemed to shake instantly.
The Z Warriors and Vegeta were terrified. The aura radiating from Goku was indescribably powerful.
"AHHHHHH!" With a loud shout, Goku fully transformed into Super Saiyan 1.
His hair turned golden, and golden flames enveloped his entire body.
At this moment, Goku's combat power reached five billion—stronger than even Cell at full power in the original timeline.
A terrifying energy radiated across the battlefield.
Frieza, closest to Goku, stared in disbelief at the Super Saiyan before him.
He couldn't describe the feelings rushing through him.
The Z Warriors and Vegeta were completely terrified.
Goku's anger at this moment was overwhelming—"terrifying" didn't even begin to cover it.
Krillin whispered, stunned, "Is that still really Goku? Why does he feel so… evil after transforming?"
"His energy is like an endless ocean," Tien Shinhan said, awestruck.
He had never imagined anyone could possess power like this.
Yamcha swallowed hard. "That's terrifying! Super Saiyan… no one in this universe can defeat him now."
"Yeah! I think so too," Krillin said, admiration shining in his eyes.
Growing up with Goku, he never expected him to reach this level.
Gohan shouted excitedly, "Dad, he's amazing!"
Vegeta's eyes remained fixed on Kakarot. "So… this is a Super Saiyan…"
