Synopsis
synopsis: Born into a royal family surrounded by secrets, Famoura Felòenz grows up curious, brave, and unwilling to blindly follow the rules of her kingdom. The castle is beautiful, but behind its walls lies a history people whisper about with fear — especially the name of her grandmother, Margaret, whose past still haunts the people of the kingdom. When Famoura turns eleven years old, she and her four closest friends — three boys and one girl — secretly visit an old, abandoned town library. They often go there to study and talk about ideas that are forbidden in the kingdom. Famoura dreams of a future where women have equal rights, and her friends support her courage. But during one of their secret visits, something strange happens. One of her friends accidentally falls against an old shelf, revealing a hidden door that leads to a mysterious underground library. When the children enter, they discover something unbelievable. Small mysterious guardians appear from the shadows of the library. These magical beings warn them: "Leave this place immediately, or we will erase your memories. This place is dangerous for children." Terrified, all the friends decide to leave. Famoura, however, wants to stay and learn more. Still, her friends pull her away and take her back home. Meanwhile, Princess Marie arrives at the castle with a special gift for Famoura. She explains that the gift was given to Famoura on the day she was born, but no one ever told her about it before. When Famoura opens the gift, she finds a strange book. Every page inside the book is completely plain and maroon-colored, with no visible writing at all. Days later, something mysterious happens. One morning, sunlight falls on the open pages of the book, and suddenly shimmering handwritten words begin to appear, glowing in the light. Shocked and excited, Famoura wraps her scarf around her shoulders, takes the mysterious book, and goes back to the old library with her friends. As soon as they enter, the library guardians appear again and angrily say: "You have returned! Now your memories must be erased." Just as they begin to cast their magic, Famoura quickly shows them the strange book. The moment the guardian sees it, he freezes in shock. His expression changes instantly. He bows respectfully and asks: "Are you… Famoura Felòenz?" All of Famoura’s friends look at her in surprise. The guardian apologizes and explains that Famoura has the power to discover the truth of the Parallel World. Confused, Famoura asks what truth he is talking about. The guardian gently approaches her, kisses her hand respectfully, and whispers: "Never think of yourself as ordinary. There are many secrets about you that I cannot reveal yet, because your life would be in danger. But I can show you the path." He removes a glowing pendant from his neck and uses its light to reveal a magical map. He explains that if Famoura wants to discover her true history and the hidden truth of her kingdom, she must travel to a Parallel Universe. But the path to that world is extremely dangerous. To reach it, she must face a terrifying entity known as Baby Evil. The guardian warns her that her life will be at great risk. "I wish you would choose a normal life instead," he says softly. "But I know you will not." He places the glowing pendant into Famoura’s hand. "Keep this. It will help you when you face danger. Whenever you are lost, I will appear to guide you. I believe you will succeed… because sooner or later, this destiny will find you." Determined to uncover the truth, Famoura decides to follow the path shown by the guardian and begins her journey toward the mysterious Baby Evil. And from that moment… her real adventure begins.

Chapter 1 - "THE READER"

Meet Jenna Lopez

Jenna Lopez was a lazy girl who lived in Texas, one of the largest states in the United States.

It was already 9:30 in the morning, yet Jenna was still fast asleep in her room. From the kitchen, her mother, Bella Lopez, called out loudly.

"Jenna! Wake up! Your friends are calling you. How long are you going to make them wait?"

But Jenna gave no reply.

Annoyed, Bella marched upstairs, opened Jenna's door, and threw a toothbrush and some clothes onto her bed.

"No more excuses," Bella said firmly. "Get ready right now and leave the house, or you'll be cleaning the garden today!"

Grumbling, Jenna finally got up, got dressed, and stepped outside to catch the school bus. But when she noticed how calm and cool the weather was, her mood suddenly changed.

Instead of walking toward the high school, her feet slowly turned in another direction—toward the library.

Jenna might be lazy, but she loved reading books.

Soon, she entered the Central Library of Texas. As she wandered through the shelves, her true personality began to show while she read the titles aloud.

"Hmmm… I Can't Live Without You, said Oxygen crying in the corner."

She frowned.

Then she picked up another book.

"My Lips Without Him… what rubbish? Eww… men."

She tossed it aside.

"Boring. Another boring one."

Suddenly, a voice from behind the counter spoke.

"May I help you, ma'am?"

Startled, Jenna jumped, and the pile of books in her hands fell to the floor. The librarian quickly stepped forward and began picking them up.

"Sorry, ma'am," he said politely.

"Sorry?" Jenna replied, still surprised. "You scared me! Who suddenly appears like that?"

As she handed him the books one by one, she complained, "There isn't a single good book here. Just look at these titles!"

"Please stop, ma'am," the librarian groaned. "I can't carry any more weight."

Suddenly, the stack slipped from his arms and crashed to the floor again.

"Fine, forget that," Jenna said. "Just tell me—are there any good books here? Otherwise I'll just go home and watch Netflix."

"Come with me," the librarian said. "I'll show you some fictional books."

"Anything is fine," Jenna replied. "Just make sure it's good."

He showed her several shelves of fiction. Jenna glanced through them and shook her head.

"I already read all of these when I was a kid."

The librarian sighed and walked toward a very old cupboard in the corner. After wiping away the dust, he carefully pulled out a single book and handed it to her.

"I bet you haven't read this one," he said with a teasing smile. "It's never been sold. I don't know why people ignore it. Maybe they didn't understand it."

He shrugged.

"And it's the only fiction book here that you probably haven't read. If you like, give it a try. New books will take time to arrive… otherwise, well, Netflix is always there."

Jenna took the book from his hand and read the title.

Famoura Felòenz: The Cursed Town

"Hm… sounds interesting," she muttered, "but also a little strange."

She pulled out her phone to check something—but the screen was completely dead.

"Well," she said, "my phone has no charge anyway. I might as well read this."

Jenna sat down at a nearby desk and opened the book. Inside, there was a small note.

Disclaimer:

This book is very interesting but also frightening. It might even disturb you mentally, even though it is fictional. Don't worry—it's not that serious. But once you read this book, the story may never leave your mind. Many questions will arise. It is a creative story that also reflects human reality. People see this book from different points of view. It all depends on how you think.

Jenna didn't take the note seriously. She simply placed it aside.

Then she turned the first page…

…and began reading.
