Before everyone went to bed, Vi sent a message to Diana, asking if she could come over. Diana welcomed her gladly.
"I can't sleep! What should I do? What happens on this 'special shift'?" Vivienne panicked at the thought of spending the night with the master. She couldn't believe her first time would happen under coercion and for money.
"First of all, you need to calm down! Just a second!" Diana rummaged through her mini fridge and pulled out a green bottle of herbal liquor. She poured a little into cups for Vi and herself. "Here! This really helps you relax!"
Vivienne drank it all down, and her chest heaved as the unfamiliar taste took her by surprise.
"Second…" Diana continued, "nothing bad will happen! Keep in mind, if you get really nervous, he'll notice and won't do anything."
"Really?" Vi asked, her voice hopeful.
"Really. He treats everyone with understanding. Otherwise, he'd be no different from any rich bastard who buys girls. And besides, you'll like it." Diana smiled. "And, well… he's my first too… and so far the only one."
Vivienne looked up at Diana plaintively.
"And how was it? Can you tell me, please?"
Diana let out a heavy sigh and finished what was left in her glass.
"Good thing it's not my shift tomorrow… I think I'll pour myself some more." She filled their glasses again with the herbal liquor, this time halfway. She opened a wall cabinet and pulled out a chocolate bar with a cookie layer. "I think this won't hurt us."
Diana broke off a piece, popped it into her mouth, and took a sip of the liquor. Vi did the same and picked up the e-cigarette Diana had given her.
"There were four of us that time," Diana began. "Me, Lily, and two other girls, Mary and Carolina. The master rarely calls you in during the first month, but it happens. I got my first 'special' after three weeks here. I was just as nervous as you. And Carolina revived me the same way. Anyway, no need to dress up for him, just wear your usual clothes. And be yourself. He'll handle the rest…"
Vivienne didn't know how to phrase the question properly, but it was on the tip of her tongue. She had heard from the older girls in the orphanage what it was like, but had never talked about it directly with anyone.
"You know, by the second or third time, you'll start wanting 'special shifts' yourself," Diana smiled and took another sip. "He does everything very carefully, and sensually. Honestly, I'd have a couple more drinks and go again."
Diana laughed, but saw no support on Vivienne's face.
"Alright, I see you're not in the mood for jokes. Okay, here's what will happen… You knock three times, the master will open the door. You'll find yourself in his room. You'll sit right by the window at the table. He'll offer you a drink, and you'll chat. You'll keep talking until you feel comfortable and safe. You'll feel light and happy because this guy knows how to put you at ease." Diana paused to nibble a piece of chocolate and sip the liquor. "And then, at some point, something will happen… lightning will strike, or you'll drop a fork, or sneeze, or start yawning, doesn't matter, but something will happen. And that's the moment—you'll be in his hands."
Vivienne looked at Diana questioningly.
"What? And that's it? How?"
Diana took a sip, smiled, and shrugged.
"I don't know. No one knows. But just his presence… its hypnotic, you know? Like, his calm, deep voice, the way he moves, his manners, his scent… God…" Diana rolled her eyes and sighed deeply. "He always smells so good. And in the moment… in some tiny little moment, you just want to touch his neck with your tongue and find out what he tastes like."
"And… and then what?" Vivienne asked.
Diana gave an upside-down smile and shook her head.
"Nothing. He'll do everything himself later. And trust me, when he's undressing you, he'll take your leg and kiss it gently…" Diana smiled and exhaled a puff of vapor from her e-cigarette. "You won't care anymore whether you're a virgin or not. You'll just want him to keep going."
Vivienne lowered her gaze to her glass and gave a hopeless smile.
"You say very nice things, but it still doesn't make me happy that it's… kind of forced," she said, taking the last sip. "But, apparently, I don't have a choice anyway. Still, thank you for at least calming me a little. I'm really worried it's going to hurt."
Diana drained her glass as well and added,
"Let's just say, all the pain will be drowned out by pleasure and enjoyment."
"I just hope… that at least the treatment will be humane," Vivienne said.
"Don't worry about that."
Vivienne got up from Diana's bed and headed for the door.
"I think it's time for me to go."
"You can stay a little longer if you want."
"I don't want to distract you. You've already done so much for me."
"It's fine."
Vivienne walked over to the table to put her glass back, when suddenly Diana ran up to her, and before Vivienne could turn around, Diana's lips touched hers.
Diana's hands held Vivienne's face firmly yet gently, their lips intertwining. Vivienne didn't pull back. She was in shock, completely bewildered. Diana slowly began to release Vivienne's face.
"This is so you know… that a kiss can be pleasant and that you shouldn't be afraid."
Vivienne stood still, unsure of what to say. But at some point, the words slipped from her lips on their own.
"Can I… stay with you a little longer?"
Diana's warm breath brushed against Vivienne's neck. She nodded affirmatively and said,
"That will cost you… another kiss."
"I'll definitely pay," Vivienne whispered.
The girls lay down on the bed. Vivienne didn't quite understand what she was doing. Yet somehow, it felt completely natural. Diana lay next to her, draped a leg over Vivienne, and slowly, barely touching, traced her lips with her own. And finally, they kissed again. For Vivienne, it was something entirely new and incredibly beautiful. The only thing she wished for more was the scent, like the one Valentina or the master carried. And just ten seconds into the passionate kiss with her new friend, Vivienne was already imagining how magical her Wednesday night with the master would be.
But Diana didn't intend to stop at just a kiss. She settled beside Vivienne, and holding her head gently, traced soft kisses along Vivienne's lips and neck. The kiss was electric, overwhelming, breaking down every barrier. Vivienne's body melted, and she completely lost herself in the moment, letting herself feel the intensity of the closeness. A shiver ran through her, and she let out a startled, breathy sound, surprised by how much she was enjoying this.
Diana's hands held Vivienne's face tenderly, and Vivienne felt a rush of warmth and excitement unlike anything she had ever experienced. Every touch, every brush of lips, sent tingles down her spine. Vivienne's thoughts swirled, her heart raced, her senses heightened, and for the first time, she allowed herself to fully surrender to the moment.
Kisses followed one after another, lingering and slow. Vivienne's mind spun with exhilaration, imagining the closeness and trust between them, feeling utterly alive and intensely aware of Diana beside her. The room seemed to shrink around them, the world reduced to just the two of them sharing this new, intoxicating connection.
At a moment that Vi couldn't understand, she was overwhelmed by a rush of emotion and couldn't hold back a small cry. Diana quickly placed her hand over Vi mouth, looking into her eyes with a mischievous, satisfied smile. Vivienne's legs trembled, and waves of intense sensation washed over her again and again, making her shiver and clutch at Diana's fingers.
Vi had never breathed so heavily or so rapidly in her life. Diana seemed content with herself and lay down beside her, gently and affectionately brushing Vivienne's cheek with her lips. Vi was still trying to catch her breath, unable to believe what had just happened. A sudden mix of emotions swept over her, part of her wanted to run away and never see Diana again. Yet Diana's soft, tender gestures made her close her eyes, turn her face, and let the tears flow.
Diana held Vivienne close.
"Everything's okay… it's normal. Do you want to leave now?"
"Let's just fall asleep, alright?" Vivienne whispered through her tears.
"Of course. Will you hug me?"
"Yes, yes, I'll hug you!"
Diana turned toward the wall, and Vivienne snuggled against her, wrapping her arms around her. She buried her nose in the back of Diana's neck and caught the pleasant scent of her hair conditioner. For a brief moment, she felt so warm and safe that nothing that had happened tonight could ruin it.
Despite all the new and shocking discoveries about herself, Vivienne was glad that this young girl held special feelings for her. She couldn't explain exactly why, but lying in bed with Diana, she felt like she was exactly where she belonged.
