That year was the year of the Saint's celestial tour, the birth of the Immortal Path.
Xu Jia chose to stop at the border between Kunlun and the South Sea to care for this golden monkey cub, born with unusual signs and a pitiful background.
From that day on, Liu'er officially embarked on the path of cultivation.
For this golden monkey cub, "Liu'er" was both his official name and the nickname his master gave him.
Anyway, Liu'er didn't mind; he didn't even resent those of his kind who expelled him from the tribe.
The warmth Xu Jia brought to Liu'er was enough to cover his unfortunate childhood.
Especially after gaining intelligence, Liu'er's affection for Xu Jia was beyond any words.
He loved to step on Xu Jia's footprints, imitating the way he walked...
Whenever he saw Xu Jia get angry, he'd put on a pitiful look...
When he couldn't see Xu Jia for a few minutes, he'd panic and cry out...
