Chapter 11 - Chapter 10: Skill Scroll

As soon as Su Mo entered the dungeon, a half-meter-tall goblin minion rushed towards him.

[Whiz!]

The big knife was raised and fell, and the goblin's body was split in two like butter meeting a hot knife, with blood splattering all over the ground in an instant.

The thousand-pound Guan Saber hit the ground due to inertia, causing a thunderous boom to resonate through the entire cave.

To be truthful, the thousand-pound Great Guan Saber is indeed quite hefty.

Even Su Mo, with his 65-Strength Attribute, still couldn't perfectly control it.

He gained one assignable Free Attribute Point, and without the slightest hesitation, Su Mo directly put it into his Strength Attribute.

In the narrow Goblin Cave, Su Mo advanced alone, leaving behind a trail of shattered goblin corpses.

His Strength Attribute rose sharply, and in just 10 short minutes, a golden glow flashed over his body, raising his level to four.

[All Attributes +3, assignable Free Attribute Points +1]

Continuously allocating attributes into Strength during the monster battles, his Strength Attribute reached an astounding 90 points.

The Great Guan Saber, which once felt slightly heavy, now could be wielded easily.

Since he had thoroughly cleared the Goblin Dungeon once before, this time he was very familiar with the route.

After 20 minutes, he once again reached the cave of the King of Goblins, where he had previously shredded a lot of clothes.

Last time, when he faced the King of Goblins, he was afraid of his weapon breaking, so he pounded this creature to death with his fists.

The five-meter-tall King of Goblins stood up from his throne. Su Mo stood in front of him, not even reaching his thigh.

The half-meter-thick Wolf Fang Club was lifted high by the King of Goblins, who roared at Su Mo for daring to intrude and disturb his sleep.

He looked quite intimidating, but it was of no use at all against the creature.

In a flash, he was in front of the King of Goblins, bent his knees, and with a fierce leap, brought the Guan Saber down hard on the King of Goblins' head.

[Clang!]

The King of Goblins seemed to sense the threat, and blocked the Guan Saber, which looked toy-sized in front of his half-meter-thick Wolf Fang Club.

A sarcastic smile appeared on the ferocious face of the King of Goblins, but the next moment, he felt a gigantic force on the club.

[Boom!]

The massive body of the King of Goblins flew backward, crashing fiercely against the cave wall.

Su Mo's body gently landed on the ground. The nearly two-meter-long Guan Saber twirled in his hand, and he dragged it diagonally along the ground with one hand, slowly walking toward the King of Goblins.

His movements were fluid and majestic. If the Guan Saber were replaced by a sword, one might even describe it as graceful and elegant.

"121 Strength Attribute, and you, a level 7 bronze boss, dare to take my attack head-on?"

[Roar!]

The King of Goblins roared angrily and charged at Su Mo again with bloodshot eyes. His huge body made the whole ground tremble incessantly.

Su Mo quickened his pace, leapt high, and swung his sword, passing by the King of Goblins.

The massive body of the King of Goblins continued forward under its own inertia, taking five more steps, before a greenish head, one meter in diameter, toppled to the ground.

A torrent of blood gushed from the neck of the King of Goblins.

Another golden glow flashed over Su Mo's body, as he finally achieved his goal of reaching level 5 during this dungeon run.

Facing the wall, he stylishly slung the Guan Saber over his back, not even glancing back.

Because a true man never looks back at explosions!

But suddenly recalling something, he hurriedly turned his head back.

It's okay to ignore an explosion, but a treasure chest is worth a look.

Thinking of this, he was already next to the goblin's corpse in a flash, seeing a bronze treasure chest emitting a golden light, quietly lying there.

Although these items might not be of much use to him, the things in the treasure chest were quite valuable.

If he could have taken the chest outside to open, he would have considered selling it as a mystery box.

With a crisp crackling sound, two items floated out of the bronze treasure chest, emitting radiant, colorful lights with low-budget effects.

When the lights faded, Su Mo could finally see the detailed description of the two items.

[Designated Skill Scroll: Open to learn the skill Ballistic Trajectory to the Left.]

Seeing the skill description, Su Mo was a bit excited.

After all, watching others execute flashy skills made a young man like him full of envy.

Although those flashy skills might cause him no harm, whether being strong or not is half the deal, but being cool is a lifetime affair.

Otherwise, he wouldn't have chosen a saber over a Guan Saber at first, if not because the Guan Saber was more stylish, mighty, and domineering.

It was precisely because he used a Guan Saber that he even learned some fancy moves online.

At that moment, he was still pondering what kind of skill Ballistic Trajectory to the Left was, but his face immediately fell in the next moment.

[Ballistic Trajectory to the Left: I don't want others to pick up my weapon and directly use it.

Skill description: Due to using your left hand for many years, your ballistic trajectory tends to lean more to the left.]

Remembering the description of this item, Su Mo almost spat a mouthful of old blood from rage.

Then he grumbled intensely, "F***!"

Only then did he force his gaze onto the second item.

[Goblin King's Arm Guard: Defense Attribute +3]

Seeing this item, Su Mo was somewhat disappointed. With maxed-out Defense, he didn't need such things at all.

But on the bright side, this item was worth a little if taken out to sell.

Three points of Defense Attribute in low-tier equipment is actually not bad.

At least it's much more useful than that damned skill Ballistic Trajectory to the Left.

He really couldn't imagine who or where would someone use such a ridiculous skill.

Having stored both items in his backpack, Su Mo opened his attribute panel.

[Name: Su Mo]

[Level: 5]

[Awakened Ability: Absolute Defense, Heart of Slaughter]

[Strength: 125 (Level Up +4)]

[Defense: max]

[Speed: 9+4]

[Constitution: 25+4]

[Critical Strike: 6%+4]

[Skills: None]

[Assignable Free Attribute Points: 3]

Su Mo frowned, glanced at the Guan Saber in his hand, realizing that his Strength had doubled in this journey, yet the weapon felt slightly lighter.

However, now that he reached level 5, he could finally leave the city and no longer have to stay stuck in this Goblin Dungeon.

He still needed to talk to Wang before leaving the city and have him issue a permit.

The last thing was to see if this [Ballistic Trajectory to the Left] could be sold. Thinking about it made Su Mo grind his teeth a bit.

This damn Goblin Dungeon never dropped anything useful for him, truly disrespecting him.
