Yuriko Takagi
She had stopped discussing logistics with Kiriko-san, and then she felt it—a chill running down her spine, or perhaps goosebumps, some sort of sixth sense that warned her of a dangerous presence nearby. Judging by the reactions around her, she wasn't the only one.
Soichiro's hand tightened on his gloved fist, making the material creak. Kiriko stiffened, her entire body tense. Tadashi Miyamoto, standing nearby, hunched over as if hit by a wave of pressure, and Rika Minami—whom she had just assigned to check the ferries with her group and a dozen or so officers—stood tall and rigid.
They all turned in the same direction, abruptly, with one fluid motion, and saw someone incredibly familiar yet entirely changed.
Dozens of meters away stood a man with shoulder-length black hair, broad shoulders, towering height, and an aura that was far from human.
A massive, thick, scaled tail, nearly three meters long, swayed behind him. Enormous wings hung from his back, having torn through his outer clothing, revealing a spine covered in scales that ran all the way down from the nape of his neck to the base of his lower back.
Where his fingers should have been, there were now two-centimeter-long talons. Looking at his sleeves, one could see the contours of forearms and shoulders that were likely also covered in black scales. His legs looked more like those of a massive lizard, with four large, scaled claws on his feet.
But when he turned toward them, everything changed. He tilted his head slightly, twitching his long, sharp, elven-like ears, revealing a crown of horns atop his head. Then he looked at them with his eyes, and the moment their gazes met, everyone froze. Their bodies relaxed—not because they felt safe, no, but because their subconscious accepted a crushing truth: they wouldn't even be capable of leaving a single scratch on this man.
Molten gold mixed with amber slammed into her memory like a truck, making her gasp.
In that instant, she—and everyone behind her—understood that no matter how hard they tried, they could never harm this creature. Their subconscious had accepted defeat on their behalf, surrendering to the reality of their own insignificance...
It was terrifying. And it would have been far more terrifying were it not for the fact that this man was Isao.
Her master, her lord, Isao Tsumugi—the man who had brought a light of hope to thousands in this increasingly cruel world, hope for a life, not just for survival.
She smiled at the thought. After all, the stronger he became, the better their chances were. Seeing her relax, he smiled and began walking toward them. Despite his massive frame, his steps were surprisingly quiet... no, wait. His blue cloak had reappeared, hiding his wings, and all the noise his movements should have made vanished instantly.
"So, what did you decide?" His voice had grown deeper, slightly guttural, like that of a beast. It made her tense up—not out of fear, no, but from resisting the physical desire to throw herself at him.
"Ho... haven't you undergone a bit too much change, Isao-kun?" Rika Minami spoke first in a playful tone, causing Yuriko to shoot her an annoyed glare.
"Honestly..." He held out his hand, examining his dragon claws. It was so strange. She wanted to think he had just changed like his sister, but his horns and wings suggested something far more profound—not to mention a voice in her head telling her not to compare him to anyone else. "It's a pleasant improvement. My physical strength has increased tenfold, not to mention my durability and stamina. And the wings!" He flared them, drawing even more attention from the people, who audibly gasped in amazement at Isao's transformation.
Along with that collective sigh from the crowd, she noticed Isao tilt his head slightly, as if basking in their admiration... a true half-dragon, nothing less.
"Well, if you're happy, I'm happy. It's not every day a man becomes a half-dragon..." Rika smirked humbly and gave him a gentle pat on the shoulder. Isao looked at her with slight surprise, while Yuriko clenched her fists, annoyed by how familiar this woman was being with her Lord.
For a few seconds, an awkward silence hung over them like a small gray cloud, until Isao moved again.
"Alright, enough of that." Isao chuckled proudly, waving a hand as if to say the topic was closed. "My most important question now: did you solve the ferry captain issue? And did you check if there's fuel?"
"Yes, Isao-sama." Soichiro stepped forward, to both her and Isao's surprise. "Among us, there are several experienced people who have enough knowledge of machinery to operate ferries, and the scouts have already returned with positive news."
"Then... what are we waiting for? Load everyone on board! It's high time we were on that damn island!" He waved his hand with a wide, excited grin, causing some nearby to step back instinctively, as even a simple wave of his hand sounded like someone slicing the air at an impossible speed. "Oh... damn, sorry!" Noticing their nervous reaction, he smirked. "Honestly, these claws are incredibly sharp. If I couldn't control them at such a high level, I don't think I could even hold anything, let alone touch anyone... the chance of slicing through skin like paper is one hundred percent." As he said this, looking up at the sky, everyone froze, finally comprehending the sheer scale of his physical changes.
Tadashi Miyamoto's reaction was the most telling; he turned pale and squeezed his fists with terrifying force, making Yuriko smirk.
Of course, the fool understood. When the equivalent of a nuclear bomb stands in front of you in human form, casually mentioning how easily he could kill you, any fool would grasp the gravity of the situation.
But deep down, she hoped these changes would affect her Master's mind. She realized she wanted to see everyone who had opposed him suffer. And since she was his servant, anyone who opposed her was also opposing him.
She wanted him to take her right in front of her husband, just so the man would realize how much he had neglected her. She dreamed of him fertilizing her fields—which had long lacked male seed—together with her own daughter.
Right now, watching the shifted musculature of her Master, she could barely restrain herself from dropping to her knees, pulling out his thick member, and stuffing it into her throat.
She squeezed her hand, realizing her thoughts had strayed far from their current affairs. She sighed tiredly under the gaze of everyone around her.
"Hm?" Isao-sama looked at her with concern, making her cough awkwardly and shake her head, her body language saying, 'No, it's nothing, I'm fine.' He shrugged and turned his head, prompting her to look where he was looking.
She saw her daughter with Saeko, near her mother and two sisters—one blood-related, and one adopted, whom her Master's kind mother had taken in after her biological mother died to zombies.
She was glad her Master had grown into such an incredible man; that was something to be thanked only to Kyoko Tsumugi, and no one else.
"Alright, have everyone double-check everything, then start loading the trucks onto the transport ferry, and put the people on a more comfortable one, if available." He shrugged and walked toward his loved ones in total silence. She sighed and nodded to the people, starting the work.
Isao Tsumugi
My changes were extensive, and one of them affected my sense of smell... the very sense that showed how strangely people were reacting to me.
The women... they smelled of arousal, embarrassment, and everything in between, while the men smelled of either submission or fear, like Tadashi.
Right now, the three girls and one woman in front of me smelled of arousal, love, and a sort of subservience, while little Rin-chan smelled of wonder and admiration, causing me to look at her with a sweet smile.
Oh, damn... I just noticed my field of vision had widened significantly. Looking straight at Rin, who ran up with a wide smile and hugged my leg, I could still see everything in my peripheral vision with incredible clarity.
The way Saya bit her lip, the way Saeko hugged her stomach with a warm smile, how Kyoko-san gave me a playful, suggestive look, and how Mother blushed—all of it made something inside me stir.
But I calmed myself down, let out a loud "Wah!", scooped Rin up, tossed her in the air, caught her, and hugged her. Then she started talking.
"Wow...! Can I touch your horns, big brother?" She asked hopefully, making me chuckle.
"Of course, Rin. You can touch them. And if you want more, you can sit on my tail!" She shook her head, opting instead to play with my horns while I continued walking toward my treasures.
"Oni-chan, can you feel anything?" She asked, her little finger pressing against my horn.
Hmm... no, honestly, I felt nothing. I knew someone was touching my horn, but there was no physical sensation, unlike what I'd feel if she touched my skin or anything else.
"N-nope, Rin-chan." I answered with a smile, kissing her forehead, making her giggle.
"Oh-o~" She sighed, happily playing with my black hair, horns, and long, sharp elven ears.
Meanwhile, I examined Mother's warmed expression. The wrinkles that were once there were gone, thanks to her "Iron Man" trait, but I still had to come up with something to slow her aging... I didn't want her to die of old age. I had changed so drastically that I likely had a much longer lifespan. Kyoko-san's playful smile had turned lewd, promising me a very good time later... not that I was against that. Saya just kept smiling, looking at me with warmth, just like Saeko... but unlike Saya, Saeko's eyes held an incredibly strong desire and hunger, making me swallow hard.
But on the other hand... my member below was already ready to fall into line and rush into battle, and if not for my somehow increased control over my own body, heh... unfortunately, right now I wasn't going to deal with them, but rather with the woman of a certain someone...
It seemed as though just a fleeting mention, or even a thought of someone connected to him, made me want to spit flames... and if it weren't for the fact that I was a slightly more civilized dragon, I would have done exactly that. Instead, I'll just take all of his women, and turn him into a common soldier.
That is mercy.
Anyone else in my place wouldn't just take his lover, "ex" wife, and daughter, but would also slaughter him, leaving nothing but chunks of meat and puddles of blood.
If he had behaved normally, I wouldn't have touched them, but... since he decided he was some kind of damn genius?
Well, let no one call me the Weak King, nor an unfair one, for even to the likes of Soichiro, I gave not only authority over people but also strength, despite the fact that he initially wanted to bring me under his control.
"Isao-chan?" Mom called out with a question, finally forcing me to break free from my thoughts, which were full of cruelty and the promise of that very cruelty.
"Yes, Mom? Did something happen?" I smiled at her, and she just chuckled and walked over to me.
How small she was compared to me; the top of her head barely reached my chest—most likely, Saya, who is even shorter, wouldn't even be able to reach that high.
"No, honey, I just..." She took my cheeks in her hands, forcing me to tilt my head and look into her eyes. "I just wanted to know if you're doing okay? Did you have any pain when you... well, went through these changes?" She looked inquisitively at my tail, which was swaying behind me.
"No, Mom, these are pretty standard, aren't they, Ani-chan?" K-imoto smirked and walked up to us, followed by Saya and Saeko, who watched me with interest.
"Ha, K-imoto-chan, you just grew a tail and ears, but your brother has whole dragon horns, feet that look like some kind of lizard's, a fat, long tail, grown-out ears, and... judging by his arms and neck..." She tilted my chin up slightly, peering at something on my neck. "He now has scales over all of his body, too." With every word, it felt as though something within her was being suppressed; I sensed the sadness that began to emanate from her, as well as a slight pain, and I shivered at it.
"N-no, Mom, everything is fine!" I raised a hand and waved it in front of my face, showing them all my new "manicure." "There was no pain. My power guarantees that everything that happens to me will happen without any problems, pain, or anything like that."
"..." Instead of answering, she just stared at me, forcing me to fidget awkwardly...
It was damn funny—I was incredibly close to Godhood right now, yet I was still fidgeting when it came to Mom... and I was glad for that, as it meant I was still human.
But at the same time, I understood one thing... this won't last forever. I won't stay the human I am right now forever.
I'd noticed one terrifying thing about myself, something that began a few days ago.
Ever since this whole mess started, I've been under constant stress and anxiety, and it was nearly shattering my psyche.
Did I think about having sex and dating several girls and women at once before all this started? No, that... that would be weird, hypocritical as it might sound coming from a person who was sometimes too close to his sister, and also, when Mom wasn't looking, almost making out with her... rarely, of course, but there were precedents.
And also the fact that... well, in short, I'm a bit embarrassed to talk about all my mental changes! It's too embarrassing, even though I'm practically a behemoth monster!

Yeah... my physical dragon changes probably shocked them, pleasantly surprised some, and all that... the chance that they want the same, and right now, talking to other people, interacting with them, and learning that I can grant power to others, they most likely got inspired and joined my cult.
That's... damn...
There are simply no words for what my life has turned into; it felt as if the world wanted me to go completely insane from everything happening in it at all.
Thank goodness I was the strongest being right now, in this damn world.

Oh...
Damn it, that's the most useful, useless thing I have right now!
I don't have a damn power source to feed this thing!
Clicking my tongue quietly, I just started talking to Mom and the others; Saeko walked up to me and simply hugged my right arm with love, while Saya occupied my left, causing K-imoto and Mom to look at them with slightly sour expressions.
But I moved my tail and hugged Mom's arm with it, making her smile sweetly at me, while K-imoto pouted until I told her to climb onto my back.
The only other thing I was wondering right now was where was Rei? Oh wait, she's walking near Rika and Shizuka, and my ears twitched, catching her words...
"Teach me how to fight." Damn... Rei, you're already strong, and you desire to become even stronger?
That was just something else; not every person would have that level of dedication to the desire to become stronger.
For him, there was no point in even trying, but... if he got lazy, it would be a disaster. Everything starts with laziness, and then pride and other deadly sins and unnecessary feelings follow, so he should also train, even if in this world there would never, even in hundreds of years, be a chance that someone equal to him would appear.
Goosebumps ran down his spine as Saeko lightly bit his ear, making him look at her with mild resentment as they stood watching the trucks drive into the port.
