Chapter 15 - CHAPTER 15: Draenor? More Like Your problem

--- CHAPTER 15: Draenor? More Like Your problem ---

Deathwing didn't know how many times he was angry, surprised, and admired tonight.

"What does Your Highness want that treasure for? Do you want to kill a dragon?"

Onyxia couldn't help but shudder. She knew her father. The tone of his words made it seem like he was going to kill at any time.

On the contrary, I didn't feel anything. I picked up the red wine glass and shook it. "Do you know who the Dragon Aspects got this power from?"

"The Titanic Watchers," Deathwing said lightly, a complicated look in his eyes. His mission was to protect this world. Now he's driven crazy by the nagging of the old gods.

"That's right." I nodded, feeling like a teacher. "The Dragon Soul... it can activate the sleeping Titanic Watchers."

"Are you going to use the Guardian to deal with the orc army?" Deathwing was suspicious. Isn't that overkill?

I raised my index finger and shook it. "No. I want to use it to heal this world. You may not believe it, but I can always hear the painful wailing of this world. She is suffering. I can't block this sound, and I feel a headache every time. Do you know why I am favored by the Holy Light?"

"Oh! What is that?"

He's biting! Deathwing didn't realize he was being led by the nose. He could hear the painful wailing of the Azeroth star soul and the nagging of N'Zoth all day long. Suddenly hearing me say this, it felt like meeting a fellow patient. Good guy, it turns out I am not the only one who is crazy!

Onyxia was dumbfounded. She sat there blankly, pouring a glass of wine for me from time to time. She didn't know how long she hadn't seen her father like this. Is this still her cruel father?

"I chose to heal the world," I said, leaning in. "When I chose to heal a dead tree with holy light, when I filled the cracks in the earth with gravel, this sound turned into... joy. Although it was short-lived. I knew what I should do. Heal her, and she gave me strength back. This is ridiculous, right? Yes, it's ridiculous, but it's true!"

I stared at Deathwing. "My Lord Duke, so please help me."

"Oh? How are you going to heal the world?"

If someone else had said this, Deathwing would have sneered. However, the holy light burst at my banquet had been known by all the nobles. He knew it was a form of power inheritance, so he retained a trace of trust.

"Don't worry about this. Just tell me if you can help me." Pure power move.

Being stared at by me, a human, an ant... Deathwing could have killed me. But he didn't. He discovered my value. The value of a fellow patient.

"Haha, Your Highness, mutual assistance is basic. I can help you, but what can I get?"

"That depends on what you want. Gold coins? Or a large piece of land? A land that can give you free development... without any force monitoring?"

I could only guess. The Black Dragonflight had been hunted down. He needed soldiers. He needed a place to rebuild. But as soon as he developed here, other Dragon Aspects would come to destroy his house. Finding a place that was not monitored was the key.

"Oh? Your Highness, can you find a land that is not monitored by any force?" Deathwing's eyes became brighter.

"Draenor. The homeland of the orcs," I said in a low voice, looking around dramatically.

Now it was Deathwing's turn to be surprised. He'd disguised himself as an orc and sneaked into Draenor. He knew that world had become desolate due to fel energy.

"That world doesn't have many resources, otherwise the orcs wouldn't have abandoned their homeland."

"Haha!" I took a sip of wine. As Onyxia leaned over to pour me more, I casually slapped her on her hips.

I... did I just do that? Yup. Absolutely did. Too excited. Her ass was just... right there. Whoops. Oh well, double down.

The slap almost made Onyxia explode. Her eyes went wide. What man dared to do this?

"If it was too rich, let alone you, someone would have gone there long ago. There are so many people, so just kill a few of them."

Hearing my words, Onyxia shuddered. She could crush me, but she felt a kind of fear.

"Hey! Your hand!" she hissed.

"Sorry, I'm just too excited," I shrugged, then turned back to Deathwing. "What do you think of this suggestion, Duke?"

The atmosphere solidified. Deathwing was still slowly drinking. "Your Highness, you didn't do anything to get me to help you. What a good plan!"

"Knowledge is priceless. If everyone knows it, it's meaningless. I don't care what you want to do, this is the best way. For some... contraband... that cannot be known to others, you can choose to let the retreating orcs take it to Draenor. The world over there is very broad, enough for you to toss."

I had no burden. The resources of Draenor were depleted, but not zero. It was the perfect place to dump a problem like Deathwing.
