Chapter 251 - Chapter 251: Acting Competition

"Sirius came to the school and was caught by you in the Forbidden Forest?"

Sebastian, who was grading homework, looked up in surprise at the House-elf in front of him.

Mary clutched the corner of her clothes and said awkwardly, "No, Professor Swan."

"We saw his name on the map in the monitoring room, but when we rushed over, we only caught a Big black dog."

Big black dog?

Isn't that still Sirius, that idiot?

How did he come so early?

He remembered that in the original work, Sirius first broke into Hogwarts during Halloween.

It's only late September now; is he here to scout ahead?

And, after not seeing him for so long, how did he become so lame?

It's really interesting that he was caught by a House-elf.

I must go tease him!

Thinking of this, Sebastian stood up and instructed Mary, "Mary, you go back and watch that dog first. Remember to cast another Petrificus Totalus."

"I'll prepare some things and then go over. Thank you for your trouble."

Hearing Sebastian's polite words, Mary was extremely excited and disappeared with a pop from Sebastian's office.

Sebastian first went to the monitoring room, smiled at Sirius's name on the map, and used the highest level of authority to change his name to Big black dog.

This way, even if other Professors saw it, they wouldn't realize it was that guy Sirius.

After all, exposing Sirius now would be pointless; it's better to let him suffer more outside.

After all this, he slowly walked towards the edge of the Forbidden Forest.

By now, it was completely dark, and Sirius lay on the ground, his mind in a mess.

The House-elf named Mary had just returned and immediately cast three Petrificus Totalus on him, fearing he would run away.

Could it be that Stinky Swan had thought of his Animagus and that's why he had the House-elves guard him so strictly?

As he was lost in thought, accompanied by clear footsteps, a dazzling light shone from behind him.

Only one person's footsteps?

Good, it seems that Stinky Swan at most only suspects, and is not sure of his identity, which is why he didn't call other Professors along.

It seems that as long as he deceives Stinky Swan, he still has a chance to escape.

He hadn't caught Peter yet, so no matter what Stinky Swan did to him, he had to endure it.

It's time to show off his acting skills!

"Mary, take this body camera and help me record all the details."

Sebastian handed the magic camera to Mary, then used a Levitation Charm to control a magic lamp to float above everyone's heads, illuminating the surrounding darkness.

He smirked, ignored the Black dog on the ground, and pretended to inspect the surroundings with his wand.

"It's a pity that Black got away. I thought I could catch him today and send him back to Azkaban."

"This dog is quite clever; he didn't leave a single trace even when he escaped. I wonder how he did it."

Hearing Sebastian's curses, Sirius wasn't angry; instead, he relaxed even more.

Good, it seems this Stinky Swan doesn't suspect his identity.

After not seeing him for so long, how did he become so lame?

His eyesight is so poor; he's truly a good-for-nothing, unable to even recognize an Animagus.

And he's a Professor at the school? He's truly misleading students.

If Professor McGonagall had come, he would definitely have been exposed.

However, for him, the more useless Stinky Swan was, the better.

As long as he didn't reveal himself, he could definitely get away with it.

Just then, Sirius saw a pair of shoes stop in front of him.

"What's with this Black dog? Is it Black's new pet?"

"What a good mood, even while on the run, he's still thinking of adopting a stray dog."

"Has he been in Azkaban for too long, and now that he's out, he needs an animal to accompany him and soothe his emotional wounds?"

"However, the dog is as cold and ruthless as ever. Seeing his whereabouts exposed, he only cared about running away himself, completely disregarding this dog's life or death."

Ah, yes, yes, everything you analyzed is correct.

Hearing Sebastian's analysis, Sirius secretly rejoiced.

It seemed his safety level could be raised a bit more.

Suddenly, he felt his whole body relax, and the effect of the Petrificus Totalus disappeared.

He scrambled to his feet, let out a soft bark at Sebastian, then stuck out his tongue and wagged his tail frantically, acting as obedient as possible.

"Oh, this dog is quite obedient; it's not baring its teeth, barking, or biting at all."

Sebastian feigned surprise: "No wonder Black would take it as a pet."

"It keeps wagging its tail, giving off full emotional value. If it were me, I'd also be willing to take this dog as a pet."

Saying that, he found a good angle for the camera, took out a large ham, and said to the Big black dog.

"Hey, your owner has abandoned you. Do you want to follow me and be my pet?"

Be your pet?

Why?

Because of the ham in your hand, or because of your big face?!

Sirius was instantly filled with rage, wishing he could curse out loud.

I'm wagging my tail at you because I just want you to let me go quickly.

Only a ghost would want to be your pet!

Just seeing your face annoys me.

If it weren't to catch Peter, I'd wish I could blast a spell into your face. I wouldn't be here playing along with you.

Wait!

Hogwarts pets all seem to require tags, otherwise, an alarm will be triggered as soon as they enter the school grounds.

Thinking of the tag on that big cat's neck just now, Sirius pondered for a moment.

It seems that becoming his pet isn't entirely unacceptable.

Not only would he have food and drink, but he could also appear openly on the Hogwarts campus.

Most importantly, catching Peter, that rat, would become much simpler.

This deal is worth it!

Thinking of this, Sirius's eyes lit up, and he wagged his tail, rubbing against Sebastian's leg, looking very willing.

Hehe, his acting was too good; he completely fooled Stinky Swan.

This is best; the dumber Stinky Swan is, the safer it will be to stay by his side.

Once he caught Peter, he would definitely write a Howler to mock this pig-headed idiot.

Just as Sirius was wagging his tail, a sentence from Sebastian stimulated him to the point of wanting to go crazy.

"Unfortunately, according to school rules and regulations, Little Wizards cannot keep dogs as pets."

"As a Professor, I can't possibly be the one to violate the rules."

"After all, you're too big. It would be bad if you bit the students."

"How about this, as compensation, this large ham is for you."

Saying that, Sebastian came over to Mary, casually glanced at Sirius's high-definition "Black history" in the magic camera.

He nodded with satisfaction and instructed the House-elf.

"Mary, quickly drive this dog back to the Forbidden Forest."

Sirius was furious, constantly cursing inwardly.

This bastard, he dared to play with him.

He glared at Sebastian resentfully, bit the ham, and darted into the Forbidden Forest.

Stinky Swan, you just wait.

Once I catch Peter, I'll make you regret it!
