That didn't go as planned.
Her smile vanished in an instant as the door of the elevator shut close, keeping Alina outside.
She hadn't planned any of that. All she thought was to say a sweet good night, but seeing Andrea putting her guard up in the middle of the conversation made her change her mind.
Her plan—that she formed in that instant—was inadequate. Otherwise, she wouldn't be standing outside of the elevator instead of heading to her wife's home…together.
Now what?
Tapping her finger on her elbow as she had her arms folded over her chest, Alina noticed a figure came beside her—wearing a uniform with a cap—and her smile came back to her face.
"Hey! What's your name?"
Surprised by the sudden call, the boy turned his head left and right, but there was no one except for Alina herself.
"Ah—um, me?"
From his voice, he appeared to be a teenager or just above that but still the same as a hormonal kid. Alina's smile sharpened more, and she gave him a curt nod as her reply.
