The man feeling a bit intimidated by my intense gaze and still haven't completely recovered from whatever that clone of me did to him took a few step back in a successive manner, then he finally stood still in front of the room while gritting his teeth and if eyes can kill, i would have been dead few times over .
I myself didn't understand what just happened, my movements, my tone of voice all those things were new to me, never have i ever moved this fast and i never spoke in such an icy chilling tone, not to mention using this tone in threatening someone's life, but what was more weird was the fact that i did felt that i will really kill him if he was to do anything like that again .
It was weird, i was weird, even though the words was spoken by none other than me, i felt a bit disoriented the moment i said them, an alienating feeling like as if i was in the wrong body, as if i was occupying someone else body, or that someone was the one occupying my body, i didn't detest that feeling, only felt a little bit of discomfort from it, but whatever what that was that happened i was very grateful for it happening .
I was still glaring at the man when my mother suddenly patted me on my back as if she was trying to gain my attention or something like that, i thought that it might be related to the fact that i may have threatened to kill my father just now, but i turned to her to see what was going on with her .
She asked me to lean closer and i did, she then whispered in my ears something that i never thought i would hear coming from her, she whispered in my ears, saying :
Don't do anything of sort, Ryuu, he isn't worth it .
I was so dumbstruck by what i heard that i hurriedly looked at my mom's face, wondering whether was that really my mom talking, her words weren't heartless or anything like that, but they were spoken without any shred of compassion, something that was so out of my mom character, that guy must have really made her sad or angry in the past, so much angry that even an angel like her wasn't able to move on from .
I don't care about what he is to you nor will i act like i do, your son is special just like me, it was either him joining the Akane Academy or he can stay with you dooming both of you in the future, this was a chance i fought hard to give you so don't waste it, you were already fated to join that school the moment you awakened your past life memories .

He finished saying this coldly and then put another envelope on a chair near my bed and without even biding us farewell he directly slammed the door behind his back and left, but i was able to notice that his steps weren't as steady as before, no his whole movements became sluggish and his breath was rigid as he finish telling me this, i guess whatever just happened was probably still affecting him .
But what could he have meant by the things he said, why would i need to stay away from my mother to keep her safe and what with him smugly saying that i was like him, i don't believe that i'm a bastard though .
And what past life memories, was he taking about those weird dreams i kept on having since i was an enfant and was he threatening me with my mother just now, what was exactly going on here .
Frustration that was all what i was currently feeling, but at my frustration i suddenly felt a gentle pat on my head and saw that i once again returned to my mother's embrace and she began to sing a song she used to sing to me when i was little, the purpose of the song was to soothe me into falling asleep, but it lost that effect on me a long time ago, now its only effect on me was to calm me down a little .
All the questions that were nagging me stop their nagging and was thrown to the back of my mind and i calmed down almost instantly, after the song ended, my mother looked at me and said :
Better now ?.
" Much better, thanks mom, could you let go of me now, i'm beginning to feel a bit uncomfortable, i can stand on my own you know " .
I know and i witnessed my prince charming in action just now, he saved me from falling down on the floor and even repelled the monster .
I felt my cheeks beginning to burn a bit due to being embarrassed at her mentioning such things, but luckily at least for me that she let me go and not used the forbidden technique of tickling as usual .
Seeing me like this put a smile on her face and as if that smile was contagious, i found myself smiling as well, still a bit flushed red from the teasing just now .
After a few minutes of smiling, my mom asked me with a smile that was more of a frown than a smile if i wanted to ask her anything, i just shook my head and told her that i was fine with the way things were and that this whole situation screamed of trouble, so it was better for us to just let go .
She was in tears after i finished saying this and she pulled my cheeks while saying things like " mylittleRyuuhave matured " .
A few minutes later, the doctors once again entered the room and told me that i was clear to go, but that it would be better if i avoid doing any strenuous work for a few weeks, i thanked them for taking care of me and went to the bathroom to change into my clothes instead of the hospital gown, after that i gathered the rest of my belongings and went back home with my mom .
I did intend to leave the envelope in the hospital, but the nurse happened to notice it on the chair and asked if it belonged to us and i was about to say no, but my mother have already said yes, so we were forced to accept it, i told my mom to dispose of it, but she said that it might have something important in it and that it want be late to dispose of it after seeing its content .
And seeing that it was a lost cause to try and pursued her, i went along, after we reach the building where our apartment was, we happened to meet Troska-san, we greeted her and she asked how i was doing and i told her that i was completely fine .
We then bid her goodnight and entered our humble home, i was about to go to sleep, but my mom had other plans for us, she opened the envelope and saw that there was nothing in the envelope other than a digital memory card and a note telling me that the content of the memory card was only for me to see, my mom was a bit disappointed at first, but a few seconds she completely dropped the subject and went to the kitchen to prepare the dinner, leaving me and the memory card staring at each other .
My cellphone luckily didn't broke down in the incident, so i put the memory card and began to see what was on it, i opened it on the phone and saw that it only had a video of a 30 second length, i opened the video and saw that it was recorded by the camera at the mall we were in, the recording was about the accident with that Metaphysical .
I was shocked to see the first 10 seconds, but my shock kept on increasing with every second passing and i was able to finally understand what that Man meant by saying that if i wanted to keep my mother safe, i should get away as far as i could .
The video was recorded from a high point of view, so to allow anyone who watch it to see things more clearly, the camera footage began when the Metaphysical made its appearance by destroying one of the walls beside the entrance, as i saw that monster again i didn't felt much of the terror i felt before, the video continued to go on .
After 10 seconds of watching the video, i was able to notice that the Metaphysical target all along was actually me, i saw him destroying other cars and throwing the people that were in his way away, but from the footage that i was seeing, he did so for one purpose and one purpose only and that to reach me for some reason .
The video continued to show when he came close to us and and attacked me with his scorpion like tail, then there was also the footage where my mom was pierced by putting her body in front of me and took that attack instead of me, my heart was no longer steady as before .
I looked towards the kitchen, wondering what had happened and how was my mother was able to heal from such a critical injury, why can't i remember anything from after that happening, luckily for me, this time i was actually able to found the answer to my inquiries this time .
After my mom got pierced by the tail, the Metaphysical discarded of her body that was still hanging on its tail by throwing it away into a corner, the me in the video suddenly stood up and his eyes had no shred of a tear, no it was accurate to say that my eyes in the video footage was intently focusing on where was the body of my mother thrown to .
Without any delay the last 10 seconds of the video footage continued to play on but from a different camera, i appeared beside the body of my supposed late mother and not wasting even a second i pointed at her body and then a cyclone of white appeared and engulfed the body of my mother in it, then i was able to see that this camera footage stopped recording .
Then the scene once again changed back to the other camera footage in the center of the mall where the monster was at and surprisingly i was there as well, the Metaphysical had a strange look in his eyes as if he was feeling that something was wrong, i can understand what he was feeling, i myself seeing the timer of the footage suddenly lose 10 seconds of the video length, had me wondering too about what had just happened .
My movements as i came back to face the Metaphysical were nothing short of teleportation, the switch in the cameras recordings also caught me a bit off guard, as i still wanted to see what actually happened to my mom, i wondered if something went wrong with the camera, or was this footage gotten tempered with, was that Man responsible for that too .
Seeing that there was no use in dwelling on that, i pushed the play button and continued to watch the last 4 seconds wondering what will this short period of time even be able to cover, in the video i was standing in front of the Metaphysical and was looking at its eyes in a provoking manner, the Metaphysical swept it tails at me, then the next second his body was no more and all that remained of him was a pool of blood that was releasing some kind of dark energy and me who was unconscious and laying beside my mother in the distance, then the short video ended .
Leaving me with even more questions than before, but at least it gave me a clear idea of what had happened, i was saved by mom and i was the one who saved my mom at least that what the video entailed, i also wondered what did i do to turn that Metaphysical into a pool of blood, but there were a few things that i was now quite certain of, their was something wrong with me and if my guess was correct, it had some relation with those weird dreams of mine .
Second, my mother was only attacked in her try to save me, but the attack from the start to finish was actually aimed at me .
Third, staying in the same place with my mother was no longer safe for her .
Four, i was no longer have any repulsion to the sight of blood, something inside me was in somehow even craving it and associating this feeling with the blood pool i saw in the scene back at the hospital was what worried me the most .
I looked at the number at the envelope and coincidentally my mom just happened to pass by the living room at the same moment, seeing me looking at the number on the envelope, the glass bottle in her hands fell to the ground and shattered to pieces, luckily she didn't get injured by any of the glass shards .
I looked behind me to see what happened and saw that my mom's hands and body were shaking and that the expression on her face was one filled with horror, i hurriedly went to her and hugged her in a comforting way, fortunately it worked well and my mother calmed down a little .
I broke the hug after a few seconds later and mom seeing the shards of glass on the floor, hurriedly went to the kitchen and began cleaning any traces of the glass, i went to the couch in the living room opposite to the kitchen and sat there holding the envelope, i to some extent understood why did she react that way, but what choice did i have other than this .
Those things were rumored to appear all over the world, so even if we decided to move out of here and go to somewhere else, there was no guarantee that they won't be on our tail once we reach the new place and whatever that i used to deal with that Metaphysical might also not be enough to deal with others stronger than him .
After finishing dinner, i I held my mother hand and asked her to tell me what i needed to know if possible, her body then tensed and her gaze hardened slightly, but she soon returned back to normal and began to tell me everything about that man and what he tried to do to her, to us .
