Chapter 12 - Chapter 12 - It Begins Tomorrow!

Blake POV

The sports car was built for speed and I used every ounce of it, leaving the congested highways behind for the relative calm of Kuoh Town.

The moment I crossed the city limits, my inherent ability to sense my surroundings, which was now perfectly integrated with my mind, performed an automated sweep of the surrounding area.

It wasn't a search; it was an intake. I received a perfect, generalized map of Kuoh Town and every living thing and anomaly within Kuoh Town.

The air felt thick with magic and seeing the number of supernatural beings present in Kuoh brings to only one conclusion. War!

I immediately filtered it out, capping my active sensory perimeter at a tight 100-meter radius as it was too much noise, even powerful beings are also just noise and was just a distraction from the beautiful prizes I was here to claim.

The navigation system ended as I reached the location. The mansion was exactly as is in the picture.

A two-story modern fortress behind massive and intimidating gates. No need to stop and fumble with the gates. I leaned back in the driver's seat, focusing a sliver of my magic energy—a mere thought-flicker—outward.

The sheer ease of using this power was intoxicating. I simply willed the gates open, controlling the movement down to the slow, deliberate speed of the hinges. It was too simple to use magic.

I drove through, parked the sleek black sports car in the corner of the drive, and then, with the same effortless thought, sealed the gates behind me.

I stepped out of the car. The midday sun was high, but my devil body didn't even register the heat. No sweat. Perfect. I hated sweating unless it was during a focused, sweaty conquest with a woman.

I unlocked the main door and stepped into my new sanctuary. The mansion was an interior decorator's wet dream, built to be admired by the super-rich.

It was instantly clear that the internal space was vast compared to the exterior footprint—definitely some kind of space-compression magic or advanced technology at work.

The Ground Floor was a sweeping expanse of luxury: a colossal living area furnished with custom leather, a gigantic, wall-sized TV that probably cost more than a regular man's life salary, and a fully stocked modern kitchen that looked like it had been lifted straight out of a private resort.

I took the grand staircase up to the First Floor. The Master Suite was a kingdom unto itself, easily larger than my old Manhattan apartment. It boasted an oversized bed and a bathroom that was a spa disguised as a room, complete with every imaginable luxury a man could need to pamper himself—or his guests.

But the real treasure was the walk-in wardrobe: a silent, temperature-controlled monument to wealth.

Designer clothes, custom-tailored suits, and shoes in my size were neatly arranged, ready to go.

And hanging discreetly in the corner, clean and pressed, was the black-trimmed Kuoh Academy uniform.

Azazel misses nothing. The floor also held two other bedrooms, which, while spacious by mortal standards, were laughably small compared to my master domain.

They would make perfect guest rooms for when I started collecting my prize peerage.

The Second Floor was dedicated entirely to leisure: a massive, indoor swimming pool that reflected the sunlight filtering through the roof, and a well-equipped gym.

I noticed the elevator nearby, which seemed unnecessary for a two-story house. I entered it and pressed the only button available: Basement.

The elevator didn't stop a floor or two down. It kept going, the ride silent and smooth, until my senses told me it was a depth of nearly one hundred meters beneath the surface.

The doors opened without making a sound. My breath hitched—not from fear, but from raw appreciation for the marvel in front of me.

I stood at the entrance of a subterranean space the size of a professional football stadium, carved out of bedrock. The walls were covered in thick, complex magic runes that glowed with faint light colors.

The memories of the previous Blake immediately surfaced telling me it was concealment runes to prevent others from sensing what was going on in this private training area.

Azazel must have installed the runes to contain magical outbursts and according to my memory it could conceal outbursts up to the level of an Ultimate-Class being.

In my memories, according to my father, my power at birth was already at Low-God-level, and it had only grown since then.

This place's structural integrity cannot survive my full power, but it was perfect for focused training like control or creating different moves and testing by limiting myself to use magic only up to Ultimate-Class.

I wanted to test my Devil body so I focused and call my wings.

My shirt's back side instantly shredded as two magnificent, jet-black metallic wings erupted from my back, tearing the fabric away.

The feathers were metallic and razor-sharp like obsidian blades, and they moved with a liquid and terrifying grace.

They felt like an extension of myself, as natural as moving my hand or breathing.

First, movement. I simply willed myself to fly a foot off the ground but it seems like I don't have to flap my wings at all, as I just levitated and I can feel it was my wings doing the work to make me levitate.

Then, speed. The far end of the stadium was almost too distant to see clearly for a normal human but it was clearly visible to me.

I focused on that wall, wanting to reach it. With a silent mental command, my wings pushed and the next moment, the wind was whipping past my ears, and I was standing against the far wall.

The movement was so instantaneous it felt exactly like teleportation, but the rush of displaced air still tingling on my face confirmed I had just moved at incomprehensible velocity. And that wasn't my limit.

Finally, magic test. I raised my hand.

My main ability was to absorb, understand, and use any type of energy and make it as my own magic, but my signature was still demonic.

Imagination became reality. A ball of swirling, destructive black and crimson fire manifested above my palm.

I observed it, felt the incredible heat, and then, with another thought, commanded the elemental structure to change.

The black/red fire morphed into crackling lightning, surged into a sphere of turbulent water and finally condensed into a ball of black and red colored ice .

My magic obeyed all my commands and the terrifying black and crimson color combination remained—my dark signature, overlaying any element.

I dispelled the magic, the elements vanishing instantly.

I rubbed my hands together as a deep and satisfied grin spread across my face.

The sheer, overwhelming power coursing through me was intoxicating. I couldn't wait to truly fight, to conquer, to utterly dominate with this strength.

But first, the strategy. I had to establish the pieces on the board. I had to enter Kuoh Academy, lay low enough to get close to the devils, and start dismantling that pathetic pervert Issei's future before he could even dream of claiming the girls I had already marked.

It begins tomorrow.

The End
