Marina went over and hugged Greg from behind. "Oh, my beloved Greg~ do you want to know something funny?"
"What?" Greg asked, sounding tired.
"You made love into an item. That's somehow more dangerous than real weapons."
"What does that mean?"
Marina said, "Because weapons are easy, they hurt people. You know what they do. But what about these gloves?"
"You care so much that you can't do anything. They make love feel like a jail, and that's a lot scarier than a sword."
Greg thought about it. "I really need to figure out why my peaceful things keep becoming problems to the point that they cause some chaos."
"It's because you care too much," Lylia said in a soft voice. "You put so much thought and care into everything you create that it comes across as overwhelming love."
"The gloves were fine. It felt like they were you, but they were things."
"That's too bad."
