"Me?" asked Zadi, in disbelief. "But I'm just an ordinary archer. I don't have any special powers or abilities."
Grandma Esmeralda smiled mysteriously. "You underestimate yourself, Zadi Arci. You possess a power far greater than you realize. Your Shadow power has yet to fully awaken. Your closed left eye is proof of that."
Zadi touched his closed left eyelid. "What do you mean? Why is one of my eyes closed?"
"Your left eye is the gateway to your hidden Shadow power," replied Grandma Esmeralda. "It will not open until your Shadow Eyes reach level 15. Until that time comes, you must learn to control your Shadow power with just one eye."
"Level 15?" asked Zadi, shocked. "That's really high. I haven't even reached level 5 yet."
"I know," said Grandma Esmeralda. "But I believe in you, Zadi. I know that you have the potential to reach level 15 and open your left eye. When that happens, you'll gain unimaginable power."

"And what about my right eye?" Zadi asked.
"Your right eye will become the Eye of the World," replied Grandma Esmeralda. "That eye will allow you to see the world in all its beauty and complexity. You'll be able to see the connections between all things, to understand the laws of nature, and to sense the flow of life energy that runs through everything."
"The Eye of the World," whispered Zadi, feeling peace and hope fill his heart. "That sounds beautiful."
"It is," said Grandma Esmeralda. "But don't let the beauty of the world blind you, Zadi. The Eye of the World is a blessing, but it is also a test. You must learn to see the truth, even when it hurts, and to fight for justice, even when it's difficult."
Grandma Esmeralda rose from her chair and approached Zadi. She placed her hand on his shoulder, her eyes filled with hope.
"I know you have the strength to do great things, Zadi Arci," said Grandma Esmeralda. "I know you will become the hero who will save Aethel from the darkness. But you can't do it alone. You'll need
