Syril stood before the towering gate of the Gold Wing.
The structure itself was different from anything in the Gray or even Silver Wings. Polished metal framed the entrance, and soft golden lights traced the edges like veins of wealth. A digital dial glowed faintly at the center of the gate, waiting.
He glanced down as he checked his phone one more time, confirming the instructions from the message. After a brief pause, he raised his hand and began inputting the combination.
One number.
Then another.
Then the last.
A soft mechanical hum answered him. The heavy gate slid open with smooth precision, revealing the path beyond.
Behind him, still hidden near the outer perimeter, Brandon and his group froze.
"No way…" one of them whispered.
"How the fuck… Did he just…"
Brandon's eyes narrowed, then a slow smirk spread across his face. "Well, well, well," he brought his hand together with a single, quiet clap. "Totally worthed the stress, yeah?"
