KAC-4190 is a sentient black hole located outside the observable boundaries of the Manifolds of Worlds, existing in a region where Space and Time cease to exist.
Unlike normal black holes seen in our interstellar bodies, KAC-4190 displays deliberate awareness, selective behavior, communicative ability, and the anomalous ability for thought and structure and containing information predating the formation of the universe itself. It has demonstrated awareness of the universe's formation, the structural principles behind existence, the foundations of physical law, and the "essence beneath essence"—a term used by KAC metaphysical analysts to describe the pre-causal substrate from which matter, time, space, energy, information, and consciousness emerged.
Its most infamous phrase, transmitted during our first contact with the anomaly, remains the only statement it has repeated without alteration:
"I am Void."

KAC-4190 was discovered after twelve separate worlds reported identical astronomical contradictions within a forty-nine-hour span.
Each world detected the sudden presence of a black stellar object in regions of space where no such object had previously existed. Initial classification identified the object as a black hole, but this assessment failed almost immediately.
The anomaly did not behave according to accepted gravitational models as nearby light appeared to pause at the "Event Horizon." Stars near its boundary did not collapse into it unless observed by conscious minds and automated instruments recorded stable orbital behavior, while human observers saw the same stars spiraling inward.
The first major anomaly occurred when Observation Station Nadir-6 attempted to measure what would be known as KAC-4190's mass. The measurement returned seven incompatible values simultaneously, seemingly immeasurable. When the station AI attempted to reconcile them, all display terminals produced the same sentence:

KAC-4190 visually resembles a black hole surrounded by an accretion disk of pale violet, white, blue, and colorless radiance. This disk does not consist of ordinary matter as spectral analysis suggests it is composed of compressed informational residue, including dead timelines, collapsed laws, extinct civilizations, erased cosmic histories, and ancient mathematical frameworks no longer compatible with the current universe.
The event horizon of KAC-4190 is unstable in appearance.
Observed forms include a perfect black sphere an open eye without a pupil a circular wound in space or a door opening inward a mouth without anatomy a hole shaped like the absence of a god.

The entity does not appear to have learned this information. It speaks as if It remembers it. As if it was there since the "beginning."

Direct exposure to KAC-4190's answers produce severe noetic and metaphysical damage. Affected personnel may begin understanding fragments of Creation's foundation without possessing the mental, spiritual, or ontological structure required to survive that understanding.
