Chapter 158 - Coordinate Error

Lief's consciousness emerged slowly from the depths of a dreamless sleep, not awakened by the light, but by the suffocating and delicious warmth of the bodies pinning him against the mattress.

The first thing his brain registered was the restriction, his arms were rendered useless, trapped under the weight of naked limbs.

From his left side, a rhythmic and warm breath beat against his neck, sending shivers down his spine.

He could feel the softness of a breast crushed firmly against his tricep, and a soft leg intertwined with his, seeking friction even in unconsciousness.

To his right, the sensation was different but equally possessive, a hand rested on his abs with ownership, and a curved hip molded perfectly to the side of his thigh, transmitting body heat.

Lief's mind spun and the fragments of the previous night hit his memory with force.

The bunny suit being ripped off, the torn white fishnet stockings that must now be lying somewhere on the floor, the image of Maria arching her back under Airam's control, and the vision of the maid and the bunny devouring each other before focusing their attention on him...

Lief's blood responded instantly to the memories, hardening painfully under the sheet.

He opened his eyes heavily, meeting the high and luxurious ceiling of the room.

He turned his neck millimeter by millimeter to the left.

Maria was there, completely naked, curled up in a fetal position against his side. Her face was partially hidden by tousled hair and the pillow, but Lief could see the reddish marks on her neck and shoulders, vestiges of the previous night's passion.

Her grip on Lief's arm was iron.

To the right, Airam slept with satisfaction.

She was lying on her back, with the sheets slipping dangerously down to her waist, leaving her small breasts exposed, rising and falling gently.

At the corner of her full lips still hung a faint smile, as if she were savoring a delicious secret in her dreams.

Faced with this whole situation, Lief found himself in a dilemma.

He was desperately aroused, with a full bladder and arms numb from lack of circulation, but the idea of breaking that living picture seemed like a crime to him.

Time passed, slow and sticky.

Just when he was considering risking moving his left arm, Maria's body tensed.

She let out a low moan, the sound of someone waking up with a dry throat. Her eyelashes fluttered several times, fighting the light, until her eyes opened and focused on reality.

"..."

She looked at her own nakedness, felt Lief's skin against hers, and saw Airam's hand on his body.

The realization hit her and an intense blush rose up her chest to her neck, the awareness of what she had done... and how much she had liked it.

She stayed rigid, biting her lip, debating between covering herself with the sheet or staying still so as not to wake the monster beside her.

Noticing the change in her breathing, Lief decided to keep his eyes closed, enjoying her internal dilemma.

Almost at the same time, Airam's breathing rhythm changed.

She didn't have a gradual awakening, she simply went from being asleep to being awake and alert.

She stretched out long like a cat, arching her back in such a way that her nipples grazed Lief's arm, and opened her eyes.

Her gaze swept the scene: Lief pretending to sleep and Maria paralyzed.

A spark of amused malice shone in her eyes.

"Good morning, little sister," she purred with a smoky voice, breaking the silence. "I see you survived. Last night you were screaming so much I thought you were dying."

Maria shuddered visibly at the direct comment, closing her eyes tightly while her blush deepened.

"Airam, please..." she whispered, unable to look at either of them.

"Don't be shy now..." Airam continued, moving her hand over Lief's chest and lowering it dangerously toward his abdomen. "It's a little late for modesty."

She leaned over Lief, bringing her lips close to his ear, knowing perfectly well that he was awake.

"And you... stop pretending," she whispered, gently biting his earlobe. "I can feel how 'awake' you are against my leg. The sun is already up, it's time to get up... or for round two."

The act was over.

Lief opened his eyes, giving up the charade, and let out a sigh of resignation while capturing Airam's hand before it went any lower.

"Hard to get up when you're anchored to the mattress by two she-devils," he murmured, offering them a lazy smile.

After a while of morning chaos, shared showers, and the search for lost underwear among the sheets, the three were finally dressed.

Airam, impeccable again in her white dress, took Lief's hand and led him in front of the huge floor-to-ceiling window that showed the fake cosmos.

"You are always welcome to come back to have 'breakfast' with us," she told him, sliding a hand down the nape of his neck and giving him a deep, wet kiss.

Maria was standing a step back, with her hair still damp and rosy cheeks, smoothing her dress nervously.

She couldn't hold Lief's gaze for long, but when she did, there was a new shine in her eyes, a dark complicity that wasn't there the day before.

"S... see you later, Lief," she murmured.

"See you, girls."

Lief gave them one last smile, let go of Airam's hand, and passed through the surface of the mirror with the intention of returning to Jennifer's room.

However, just at that critical instant, the smile on Airam's face froze, transforming into a mask of pure alertness.

The surface of the mirror suffered a violent convulsion.

It was a microscopic tremor, a ripple so fast that it would have been imperceptible, but for her, it felt like a tectonic earthquake.

It was as if someone had hacked the signal, the destination coordinates suffered a brutal and sudden shift, rewriting the exit in a fraction of a second.

For Lief, the initial sensation upon crossing that layer of cold and viscous film was the usual one, a brief immersion in liquid mercury.

His body instinctively prepared for the hard and sterile contact of the bathroom's ceramic tiles.

But it wasn't so.

What greeted his bare feet was a soft and damp tactile sensation that sank beneath his weight.

His movement stopped dead, freezing in place while his senses crashed against a wall of contradictory information.

There was no familiar bathroom, nor bright lights, nor the chrome shelf with the white towels.

What invaded his field of vision was a colossal forest that he had never seen before.

Gigantic trees that rose toward the sky, blocking out the sun almost completely, and only scattered beams of light managed to pierce the density of the canopies, falling on the ground covered in thick moss and giant ferns.

The air smelled of a rich and heavy aroma of vegetation, wet earth, and resin, while the silence was replaced by the crisp trills of birds and the constant buzzing of insects.

"What the hell...?"

Had the teleportation failed?

Lief turned on his heels abruptly, looking for the mirror he had just come out of, but behind him there was nothing but empty air.

The portal simply had never existed there.

He had been spit out and abandoned in the middle of nowhere.

Suppressing the initial panic with coldness, he examined the surroundings, tried to orient himself, and decided to walk toward where the terrain seemed to rise, looking for a vantage point.

The forest was submerged in an unsettling tranquility, broken only by the crunch of dry branches and dry leaves under his steps.

He walked for what seemed like ten interminable minutes, pushing aside branches that looked like claws, until the density of the trees ahead began to decrease and the light became increasingly bright and blinding.

Upon emerging from the obstruction of the last row of vegetation, the scene before his eyes opened suddenly with a visual violence that took his breath away.

He discovered that he was standing dangerously at the edge of a cliff that plummeted into the void.

Beneath his feet opened a deep abyss, so vast that the bottom was hidden by wisps of clouds and fog.

Looking toward the horizon, a mountain range of a vibrant emerald green extended undulating as far as the eye could see, cut by a wide and mighty river that snaked through the valleys like an artery under the midday sun.

The sky was an insultingly perfect blue, and several creatures that looked like eagles were flying in circles in the distance.

The landscape was scandalously magnificent, a postcard of a virgin and wild world.

Lief looked at this strange place, feeling the wind hit his face and mess up his hair, but instead of astonishment, his eyebrows furrowed in an expression of deep annoyance.

He let out a long and tired sigh, placing a hand on his hip.

"...Where the fuck am I?"
