The others who were present immediately had different thoughts.
Peter and Lucas felt that Conan was incredibly reckless as always. Not to mention, they had no idea who this Amamiya Yuki actually is. Lucas was naturally watching from the hospital as he was not present in person, but he really think that Conan is really brave.
If she's a player… then she could be black or red as she wished.
Amuro Toru's expression sharpened slightly as he looked in Amamiya Yuki's direction with some suspicion that was quickly concealed. He knew that there was another member of the organization in that train and Amamiya Yuki was also there.
So he could regard her as a suspect to investigate.
But deep down, he didn't want this woman to be part of the black side.
Amamiya Yuki blinked her eyes and felt that Conan is as reckless as ever. He should be thinking that even if the person in front of him is a criminal, she wouldn't dare to make a move in public like this.
Besides… She's not a real criminal. :)
Mouri Ran quickly called out Conan in a worried tone. "Conan! Don't be rude!"
…
[What? Does she have the cocoon from the guns?]
[Conan is incredible reckless as always]
[But he should have his reason why he dared to ask directly]
[There an FBI agents in the Poirot Cafe and there's also a member of the organization (at least, so far he is in Conan's eyes)… I can't see any reason why he could be that brave]
[Maybe because he thinks that she wouldn't do anything against him and he's already holding onto his watch, ready to attack if necessary]
…
Amamiya Yuki chuckled and said, "It's fine, why do you ask that, Little Detective?"
Conan was stunned at Amamiya Yuki's way of calling him and then he replied, "Because you have a gun cocoon, Amamiya Nee."
Amamiya Yuki lowered her eyes and moved her fingers as she nodded. "I see. You're right, Little Detective, I do have a gun. Don't worry, I have a legal gun license~."
She quickly added the last sentence when she saw Conan's face turn somewhat pale and even Mouri Ran's face looked somewhat disturbed.
"Really?" Mouri Ran looked relieved.
Amamiya Yuki shook her head slightly and said, "Of course. I keep the license at my home, though. If you want to see it, I'll show it next time."
She acted calm and nonchalant as if owning a gun was not a big matter. Even though gun possession shouldn't be easily obtained in Japan, Amamiya Yuki didn't seem to realize it.
Conan raised his small hand as he inched closer. "Then, can Amamiya Nee show me the gun?"
"No, it's dangerous." Amamiya Yuki lightly tapped the boy's forehead. "Reckless Little Detective."
Conan could feel that Amamiya Yuki held no malice at all even though he was asking such questions. This made him look at her a few more times.
Is she really good at hiding her malice or it was because she really had no malice at all towards him?
"Is it hard to get a gun license?" Mouri Ran suddenly asked.
"Hmm, depends on what you're using it for." Amamiya Yuki saw that Mouri Ran looked interested and smiled. "I bought a gun when I was staying overseas, especially in the US because if I'm not careful enough, I'll be robbed by an armed thief with firearms."
"Huh?" Sonoko was stunned. "It didn't seem to be that dangerous when I headed there."
"Sonoko, with your father's bodyguard, it's obvious why it's safe." Mouri Ran nudged her friend helplessly.
"Ahaha…" Sonoko scratched the back of her head with some embarrassment. In Japan, she refused those bodyguards. But if it was overseas, her father had to arrange someone to be responsible for her safety.
"I have bad luck." Amamiya Yuki looked through her memory and sighed deeply. Even though she knew that she always got into trouble because of cats, this matter turned worse when she was in the US for some reasons. Thankfully, this happened during the time she sped up things. Otherwise, Amamiya Yuki felt that she wouldn't be able to live.
Her character basically made the decision based on the persona she had set and in some important things, she could even decide it subconsciously. The speed up thing is indeed a bit weird, probably something like a choice game.
She watched this like watching a movie and decisively decided to leave the US once her mission was over. Even Vermouth looked like she wanted to laugh whenever she mentioned that time period.
She definitely didn't plan to go back to that time either.
Brr…
Too dangerous.
"I got threatened dozens of times, encountered armed robbery at least 10 times, and was held hostage a few times when I was in the US. Many of them thought I'm a student and wanted me to call my parents. In one accident, I even ended up seeing the live action of the FBI agents chasing after a murderer."
Peter: "..." What kind of luck is that?
Lucas: "..." This is another version of Conan.
Mouri Ran and Sonoko: "..." Yuki Neechan is really pitiful.
Conan: "..." How come someone got into accidents more often than me?
Amuro Toru: "..." It didn't seem to be that unsafe, right?
"And it all happened in less than a month." Amamiya Yuki gritted her teeth. "I had to apply for a gun license for self protection or else I'll die first because of these incidents."
"Yuki San, you really have it hard."
The two women felt distressed.
While the others were stunned.
Threatened dozens of times in a single month… that luck is really bad.
Conan somehow remembered that Amamiya Yuki seemed to encounter incidents three days in a row in Japan when he first met with the other party.
No wonder he kept on encountering her during various cases.
With such luck… it was obvious that she really needed a weapon for self protection.
Uh wait, his thoughts were going astray!
…
[... This character is really miserable.]
[Who says it isn't? If I have to experience such a thing, I would have long locked myself in a country with no guns are allowed]
[True]
[It's still quite interesting, though]
…
"Then, did you bring a gun to Japan, Amamiya Nee?" Conan asked again.
"Conan!"
"This brat is really persistent."
Mouri Ran and Sonoko felt that Conan was getting more outrageous.
Even Peter frowned and was already giving the signal for the FBI agents to be prepared in case Amamiya Yuki made an attacking move. Because he was not entirely sure of her real identity.
Amamiya Yuki looked at Conan with a strange expression. "Conan, are you asking me because you're curious or it's because you want to ask on behalf of those FBI agents behind you?"
The moment the word FBI agents were mentioned, everyone was stunned.
Amuro Toru almost ripped apart the rag he was holding to clean the counter and his eyes turned sharp when he looked at Peter.
There were only three people aside from Mouri Ran and the others in the store today.
Even Enomoto Azusa was away because she had to run an errand to buy some ingredients that had run out.
"FBI agents?" Mouri Ran was stunned and she turned to look at Peter. "Brother Peter is an FBI agent?"
Peter was silent for a moment before sighing. "Indeed. How did you know, Miss Amamiya?"
…
[Ahhh, how did she know that they're FBI agents?]
[It couldn't be that she has some cheat codes or something, right?]
[It's outrageous!]
[And Conan looked like he had hit a wall]
[He's indeed too reckless just now]
…
