Chapter 254 - Chapter 256: That's My Rival

{Scene shifts — Holy Enforcers of Will}

The news reached Axiom Valenor.

His son—Dravon Valenor—had escaped.

Axiom's eyes widened.

"Impossible," he muttered, fingers tightening at his side.

"How could he escape after the ritual? What did he even do while he was here…?"

The air around him felt heavy, disturbed—as if something sacred had been violated.

The news reached the Five Gods immediately.

They gathered, seated in a vast chamber where divine pressure crushed the air itself. Silence ruled—until one of them finally spoke.

"Firstly—Orimo Kuzan," the god said calmly.

"He is alive. And he is the cause of the Sandy Haven conflict."

Another voice followed, colder.

"Send our Admirals."

The others nodded.

Then another god spoke, eyes glowing faintly.

"Dravon Valenor has run away. We underestimated him."

A pause.

"Unleash the Three Tremors."

The decision was absolute.

{Scene shifts — Open Seas}

Dravon Valenor's boat cut cleanly through the waves, the sea calm beneath a pale sky. The wind brushed past his hair as he leaned back, laughing breathlessly.

"Well… that was close," he said, staring at the horizon.

"I almost died."

He exhaled slowly.

"What kind of immortality ritual even was that…?"

He frowned, clutching his chest for a moment.

"It took a toll on me though."

The sea rolled on, indifferent—but fate had already taken notice.

{Scene shifts — Obsidian Crown, Dark Chamber}

Sora Nithel wandered through the shadows, the faint purple light barely touching his form. In his hand—a newspaper.

The headline spoke clearly.

Dravon Valenor has escaped the Holy Enforcers of Will.

Sora stopped walking.

A slow smile formed.

"He isn't weak…" he said quietly.

Then, with a glint of anticipation in his eyes—

"That's what I'd expect of my rival… after all."
