Chapter 57 - Super Seminary Concludes

Several starships flew from the Matter Void outside the Solar System toward Blue Star, finally stopping just beyond its orbit. Aboard the ships were Death God Karl and Morgana, among others. They had investigated the site of Ian's tribulation but discovered nothing—the immense energy had simply vanished into thin air. Afterward, they sensed a strange power on Blue Star and immediately headed for the planet.

Karl stood by the ship's window, gazing at Blue Star, a look of curiosity in his eyes. 'Interesting. The energy fluctuations on this planet are truly strange. I have never encountered this kind of energy in the universe.'

His scanning power swept across Blue Star, quickly clarifying the recent events. Only the three-day blank period remained impenetrable to his senses.

"Spirit Energy? Cultivation? How truly fascinating."

Karl's ship then began to slowly approach Blue Star.

Inside Super Seminary, the team had assembled, silently awaiting the arrival of Death God Karl.

"Detecting approaching starships," Ducao suddenly announced, and everyone saw several unidentified flying objects displayed on the screen.

"They're finally here. My old Sun god was getting impatient."

"Everyone, prepare yourselves," Ducao stood up, looking at each person. "Stick to the plan."

Several starships stopped above Super Seminary, and the figures of Karl and Morgana slowly descended onto the Super Seminary plaza.

Karl surveyed his surroundings, his gaze finally resting on Ge and the others.

"Super Seminary, I truly feel nostalgic. These must be the Galaxy Power, Light of the Sun, and Noxus War God from the three great God-Creation projects." Karl's voice was calm and indifferent.

"Damn you, Karl, can't you see a fight is about to start? Why are you getting nostalgic on my ass!"

"Karl, why did you let the Taotie invade Earth?" Ge stepped forward to challenge Karl directly.

As if he didn't sense Ge's anger, Karl continued calmly, "They were only fulfilling a mission."

"What mission? Slaughtering innocent civilians?" Ge grew even angrier.

Karl shook his head slightly. "You misunderstand the meaning of death. In fact, death is not the end, but the beginning. I have studied death for thousands of years. Death will inevitably come; they are merely accelerating the process, allowing all life to embrace a new beginning sooner."

"That's a load of bull!" Liu couldn't hold back. "What kind of goddamn excuse is that!"

"You are still too young to understand my thoughts. I don't blame you."

"Bringing death? Then why don't you bring death to yourself first?" The Monkey already gripped the Golden-Hooped Rod.

"I will. Once I have completed my mission, I will willingly embrace death," Karl replied placidly.

"Enough! My old Sun doesn't want to listen to your bullshit philosophy!" Sun Wukong soared toward Karl, swinging the Golden-Hooped Rod down fiercely.

Karl didn't evade, and the Golden-Hooped Rod passed directly through his body. As he was an Illusory Body, he could completely ignore physical attacks.

Then, golden flames ignited on the Golden-Hooped Rod in Sun Wukong's hand, and he slammed it down toward Karl again.

Karl sensed the threat and quickly flickered away, barely managing to dodge, but the Rod still grazed him, leaving a scar on his Illusory Body. A potent force immediately flowed into his body through the wound.

"What... what kind of power is this?" Karl felt a sharp sting and a sense of dread. This was the first time he had felt pain in the tens of thousands of years since he transformed into an Illusory Body.

On the other side, Morgana noticed Karl's abnormal state and immediately unfurled her Demon Wings, attempting to provide support.

Ge, Liu, and Leina were already prepared, and the three acted simultaneously. Ge, holding his Great Sword, lunged toward Morgana with a jumping slash. From Leina's palm, a solar flare merged with Fire-attribute Spirit Energy, firing a blazing projectile. Liu, wielding the Black Cleaver, had Metal-attribute Spirit Energy attached to the axe blade, aiming a strike straight for Morgana's wings.

Seeing this, Morgana quickly released Dark Anti-Silver Chains, attempting to block the trio's assault. However, the Spirit Energy easily penetrated the Dark Anti-Silver defense. Morgana was struck by Leina's blast and then cleaved from the air by Ge's sword.

"Damn it, how did these kids get so strong!" Morgana quickly enveloped herself with her Demon Claws.

"The old monster can't handle this already? I'm just getting started!" Leina then charged up, Solar Power swirling around her. "Try this!"

A fireball even hotter than before appeared, shooting directly at Morgana, who barely managed to dodge but still had a small half of her body shattered by the blast.

"Karl! These kids are not right!" Morgana screamed.

Karl was currently being suppressed by Sun Wukong and had no time to reply to Morgana's shouts.

'It seems we underestimated this newly emerged power,' Karl thought while dodging Sun Wukong's attacks.

Morgana wanted to abandon Karl and flee, but the three Body Fusion Stage Super Soldiers wouldn't give her a chance.

Finally, under a coordinated three-person siege, Morgana fell to the ground, unable to get up again.

"Damn it, stop hitting me! It hurts! I surrender!" Seeing herself completely incapacitated and Liu still trying to chop her a couple more times with his axe, Morgana couldn't take it anymore.

On the other side, Karl saw that Morgana had been subdued and knew he couldn't last much longer. But he showed no panic, his expression remaining calm and serene. He then ran a pre-set command through the Great Clock.

As the command executed, the space behind him began to warp, and a massive rift appeared in the sky, with a large amount of dark purple energy pouring out of it.

"Oh no!"

Just then, two figures flew in from the distance—Kesha and Hexi, who had been observing in secret.

"Karl! Are you insane!" Kesha roared in fury. "You actually summoned the Ultimate Terror!"

"Everything will be devoured by the Void. Everything will return to the Void," Karl said calmly.

The rift grew larger, and a gigantic eye covered the opening, a terrifying aura enveloping the area.

"Is this the Void? Can I counter this?" Ge felt an unprecedented pressure.

"Stop immediately!" Kesha mobilized the Celestial Computer, attempting to stop Karl.

However, the Void Gate was open, and Void Power kept gushing out. Kesha couldn't stop it instantly.

In this moment of crisis, Ian appeared next to the rift. He pulled the Watch of Flowing Time from his pocket and lightly pressed it. Time began to reverse, Void Power started to flow backward, and the rift gradually shrank.

"How is that possible!" Karl was completely stunned by the sight.

However, Ian did not completely seal the rift, instead leaving a small opening.

"Sealing it completely would be a waste. Leaving a small opening is perfect for you all to practice," Ian told the group. "This Void Rift will continuously spawn Void Creatures, which is excellent for sharpening your combat skills."

"Of course, I've restricted the size of the rift, so excessively powerful Void Creatures can't get out."

"The crisis has been averted. The reconstruction work is now up to you."

Ian stood at a distance, a slight smile on his lips as he watched the busy group.
