Chapter 61 - Odin, Your Horse is Gone

Chu Tianjiao was stunned; this was a first even for him.

"This... what kind of Word of Power is this?"

The ability to summon enemies to fight for you with a wave of the hand was simply too incredible!

Ian did not answer, merely offering him a faint smile.

"I..."

Before Chu Tianjiao could say anything more, he was interrupted by a deafening roar—a gigantic Death Servant.

The Shadow Legion encircled the gigantic Death Servant and launched a righteous beatdown. It managed to kill a few, but the next second, more rushed at it. Two fists couldn't defeat four hands, and before long, the colossal Death Servant fell to the ground under the siege of the Shadow Soldiers.

"Arise!"

Ian's voice rang out once more.

Then, a massive Shadow Death Servant burning with black flames slowly rose from the corpse.

Ian stood on the shoulder of the new gigantic Shadow Death Servant, looking down at the front. His black trench coat flapped in the wind.

"ROAR—Hail, My King!" The Shadow Death Servant knelt on one knee, issuing a thunderous roar.

'This ability is too cool!' Chu Tianjiao and Chu Zihang thought simultaneously.

'What Word of Power is this? I've never heard of such an awesome Word of Power! Could it be a high-risk level Word of Power past No. 118?'

The sound of the battle quickly attracted more Death Servants. They surged forward like a tide, countless golden eyes flickering in the darkness, accompanied by bloodthirsty snarls.

The Death Servants grew in number. Although the Shadow Legion fought with all their might, some still fell.

But as soon as they fell, new Shadow Death Servants arose from other corpses.

The more Death Servants there were, the more Death Servants died. The more Death Servants died, the more Shadow Death Servants there were. The more Shadow Death Servants there were, the fewer Death Servants there were.

Therefore, the more Death Servants there were, the fewer Death Servants there were.

Soon, only one Death Servant remained in the center of the battlefield—a semi-Draconified Death Servant. This Death Servant was stronger than the others; its hands had transformed into dragon claws, boney wings sprouted from its back, its body was covered in scales, and twisted horns grew from its head.

All the shadows rushed towards the semi-Draconified Death Servant, and shadows were constantly torn apart. Finally, the semi-Draconified Death Servant also collapsed onto the ground.

Before falling, the semi-Draconified Death Servant let out a hiss, "You... must die... the master has... targeted you..."

The moment it finished speaking, the Death Servant crowd around the battlefield suddenly began to retreat as if receiving some command, and then vanished into the darkness.

The environment quieted down, leaving only the sound of the rain.

Then, a neighing sound broke the silence.

Following the neigh, a bolt of lightning streaked across the black sky, illuminating the entire elevated road. In the flash of lightning, a tall figure was vaguely visible.

Sleipnir, the eight-legged divine horse, slowly walked out, each step causing the elevated road to shake. It was over ten meters tall, pitch black, with eyes that seemed to burn with golden fire.

A figure sat atop the divine horse—Odin.

He wore silver heavy armor, inscribed with ancient runes that glowed faintly, rising and falling with Odin's breath.

Odin's gaze fixed on Ian's position. He slowly raised his right hand, the divine artifact Gungnir pointing directly at Ian.

"Sleipnir, the eight-legged divine horse, Gungnir, the Spear of Eternity—is that Odin, the King of the Gods from mythology?" Chu Zihang exclaimed in shock.

Ian sneered, "King of the Gods? Quite the title. I just wonder if he can live up to it."

Odin tightly gripped the legendary divine artifact, Gungnir.

The spear was shaped like a branch, with vague visible wooden grain, yet possessed a metallic sheen. It had been forged from a branch of Yggdrasil, the World Tree. The spear was covered with ancient runes, each one glowing faintly, rising and falling with Odin's breath.

"Mortal!" Odin's voice was like thunder, shaking the air. "How dare you face me!"

"What is that thing? Is it a Secondary Species or a Dragon King?" Chu Tianjiao didn't believe it was a God, as, according to Dragon history, almost all mythological figures were impersonated by Dragons.

"Wow, Brother, he's so arrogant!" Zeke pointed at Odin, putting on a nasally, mocking voice. " 'How dare you face me,' eww, that's so cringe."

"Mortal, how dare you insult a God! You shall die!"

Sleipnir suddenly leaped up on the spot, then accelerated and charged towards the Maybach. Seeing this, Chu Tianjiao instinctively wanted to turn back.

"Don't be afraid!" Ian leaped onto the car roof from the side, his trench coat flapping wildly. "Slam the accelerator! Ram straight into him!"

"Are you crazy? That's the Norse Mythology's—"

Before Chu Tianjiao could finish, the Maybach had already surged forward.

The Maybach's audio system then blared, "The accelerator is welded shut! Passengers, please fasten your seatbelts!"

The car speed skyrocketed, the dashboard needle pegged against the maximum, and the engine roared like a wild beast.

Chu Zihang quietly fastened his seatbelt, a flicker of excitement in his eyes.

Sleipnir and the Maybach rushed toward each other like two meteors, the distance between them rapidly closing.

Suddenly, Odin raised his left hand, and a curtain of water slowly rose, pressing down toward the Maybach.

"A mere water curtain! How dare it obstruct My King!" Countless Shadow Soldiers leaped forward, continuously crashing into the water curtain.

Shadows were constantly shattered, only to be replaced by new ones, until the water curtain was broken and dissipated.

The hundred-meter distance was crossed in the blink of an eye. The eight-legged divine horse immediately took to the air, leaping toward the Maybach.

On the other side, a large number of black Shadow Soldiers rushed forward and crouched down in front of the Maybach. Shadow Power surged, forming an overlapping slope.

The Maybach ramped up the slope, launched into the air, and charged toward Sleipnir.

"Aaaah! My son is still in the car!" Chu Tianjiao desperately clung to the steering wheel, screaming in terror. He reached for the car door, wanting Chu Zihang to jump out and escape.

"Relax, Mr. Chu," the Maybach's speaker broadcasted. "Trust the big shot."

Mid-air, Ian and Odin's eyes met. Seeing the anger and contempt in Odin's eyes, Ian smirked.

"Susanoo!" Ian abruptly clapped his hands together. A burst of black energy surged from his body. His shadow then twisted and deformed, rapidly expanding.

A gigantic black skeletal frame then enveloped the Maybach. Muscles and blood vessels spread and grew on the skeleton, and then a layer of black-flame-burning skin covered the whole structure.

Finally, a giant figure, only the upper body visible, encased the Maybach.

It was the Shadow Moon Lord, whom Ian had specifically farmed.

"Die!" Odin roared, stabbing Gungnir directly at the Shadow Moon Lord.

The Shadow Moon Lord did not dodge, allowing the divine spear to stab into it.

It then raised its gigantic fist and smashed it toward Odin, blasting a cloud of water mist into the air.

Odin was sent flying by the punch, crashing heavily onto the elevated road pavement and punching through it.

The Shadow Moon Lord did not pursue Odin. Large amounts of limbs, tentacles, and monstrous maws began to grow on its body, wrapping directly around Sleipnir.

The divine horse let out a painful shriek, struggling desperately.

But the tentacles and limbs wrapped around it tighter and tighter, and the gigantic maws began to bite and chew its body.

Odin struggled to his feet and saw his horse being devoured.

"Mortal, how dare you!"

"Your horse is gone, and you're still yelling. I'm the one who did it, and you're still asking how I dared." Ian stood on the Shadow Moon Lord's shoulder, looking at Odin.

"Odin! Your horse is gone!"
