Chapter 64 - Dragon King Avatars

Ian returned to Minecraft to prepare for creating the Dragon avatars.

"I'll try the Gold Dragon avatar first." He clicked confirm, and the interface shook. His consciousness was transferred to another space.

Dark, warm, and viscous—he surmised he was currently inside a Dragon egg.

The environment inside the Dragon egg was surprisingly comfortable, like soaking in a hot spring. Feeling the completely new body, he instinctively pressed his Dragon claw against the inner wall of the shell and exerted a slight force.

"Crack—" The hard eggshell began to splinter.

Then, with more force, the eggshell completely shattered, and a small golden head peeked out of the shell. The golden Dragon scales shimmered under the sun.

"Roar—!"

A Dragon roar sounded, and the surrounding air trembled slightly.

He then uncontrollably spoke his true Dragon name: Aeos Aurex... Valon.

Fine, overlapping golden scales shimmered under the sunlight. Two small Dragon horns curved slightly backward, with rounded tips.

He suddenly felt something odd on his head. Looking up, he saw several descriptors floating above: Adaptation, Ash, Casting, Reflection, Suppression.

Ash: Control flames. Casting: Increases attack and Armor Penetration Power.

Then, a wave of hunger suddenly hit him. Aeos began to gnaw on the eggshell.

The moment the hard eggshell touched his saliva, it softened. It tasted surprisingly sweet and contained a large amount of energy required for Dragon development.

As he finished eating the eggshell, his size increased by a noticeable amount.

After eating, Aeos looked up, observing his surroundings.

This was the top of a vine-covered hill, with sunlight shining through the gaps in the large trees.

He then noticed that there were several other Dragon eggs still incubating in the nest, and a few small Dragons had already hatched and were also eating their shells.

A small red-scaled Dragon finished the last piece of eggshell and noticed the Gold Dragon's gaze. It let out a threatening growl from its throat.

"Roar!" Seeing that Aeos didn't move, the Red Dragon hatchling grew bolder and lunged directly at him.

The Gold Dragon did not dodge. Instead, he swerved his body and flicked his tail, slamming it hard into the Red Dragon's face and knocking it flying.

The Red Dragon rolled twice on the ground, then defiantly got up again and charged at the Gold Dragon. It was promptly swiped by the Gold Dragon's foreclaw and pinned to the ground.

Defeated twice, the Red Dragon hatchling was still unwilling to concede. It opened its small mouth, and a large amount of black smoke emerged, followed by a small jet of flame that sprayed toward the Gold Dragon.

The Gold Dragon didn't dodge, allowing the flames to hit him. He only felt a slight warmth. His Health dropped by half a point, and then he adapted; the flames could no longer hurt him.

The flames died out. The Red Dragon hatchling looked at the Gold Dragon in disbelief, then collapsed unconscious on the ground from exhaustion of magical power.

Suddenly, the Gold Dragon sensed a mysterious summons. He stretched his wings and followed the sensation, flying towards the Main Island.

After flying for a while, he saw Ian's figure. Ian was standing on the Main Island, waiting for them. The Gold Dragon then noticed two other small Dragons flying towards the same spot in the sky.

One was entirely black, dotted with purple light—Neseroth, the End Dragon. The other was a semi-transparent, eerie blue, enveloped in a dark curtain—Shangkes, the Shulker Dragon.

Ian now had four perspectives simultaneously, three of which were the new, unique Dragon perspectives, allowing him to see faint magic particle matter in the air.

However, a drawback of the newly born Dragon avatars was that their brains were often overwhelmed by the massive amount of inherited information, leading to confusion. This would resolve itself after a period of growth.

Ian immediately took action, clearing a new small island on the west side of the Main Island.

Ian then placed a large number of Watch of Flowing Time and many fully charged Level 6 Klein Star crystals all over the island. These watches, operating at full power, could achieve a ten-million-fold time acceleration.

After setting up, Ian sent the three Dragons into the center of the island. The three small Dragons were about to begin a ten-thousand-year life of eating, sleeping, and repeating.

Then, he activated the Watch of Flowing Time, initiating the ten-million-fold acceleration.

Inside the island, the three Dragons began their simple lives: eating, falling into slumber, waking up to eat again, and repeating the cycle.

At the same time, Ian summoned Zambo and his subordinates.

"Boss, your command!" Zambo, wearing a suit and sunglasses, stood on the island, his subordinates lined up behind him.

'What kind of look is this now?' Ian thought, looking at Zambo's bizarre attire, a bead of sweat tracing down his head.

Nevertheless, Ian stated his request: "I need you to build an island of pure gold for the Dragons and several Dragon Palaces. The style and design are up to you. I only have one requirement: it must be big and luxurious."

Ian then pulled out a large quantity of materials from the Transmutation Tablet: Gold Blocks, Diamond Blocks, various Gem Blocks, and several divine artifacts.

Zambo's eyes lit up. He immediately beat his chest and guaranteed, "Don't worry, Boss, I'll handle it!"

He then quickly directed his subordinates to move the materials.

Half a day later, Ian noticed that the island with time acceleration began to flash with light. It seemed they were about to grow to their final stage.

The time acceleration instantly stopped. Three massive figures then soared into the sky, their forms blocking out the sun. They were three Primordial Dragons with wingspans of several thousand meters.

They had lived for ten thousand years within the island, consuming vast amounts of energy. The three hatchlings had now grown to the natural pinnacle of Dragonkind.

After circling in the high altitude for a while, they landed beside Ian. The landing of their giant Dragon bodies stirred up a hurricane, and the ground trembled.

'Not bad. Very strong, and very cool. But they can be even stronger.' Ian then walked towards the three Dragons and opened a panel. The panel showed that each Dragon had three Gene Slots.

Ian first approached the Gold Dragon, Aeos, and loaded three genes onto him:

The Light of the Sun Gene, the Golem Gene, and the Divine Gene. Upon completion, the Gold Dragon glowed with golden light, and its size began to increase rapidly, like a sun that had descended to the ground.

Next was Shangkes, the Shulker Dragon: He loaded the Corruption Gene, the Golem Gene, and the Moon Lord Gene.

After the loading was complete, a corrosive aura permeated Shangkes' body. His shadow-covered form further expanded, making the whole Dragon look deeper, more eerie, and more grotesque.

Finally, Neseroth, the End Dragon: He loaded the Power of Time and Space Gene, the Golem Gene, and the Moon Lord Gene.

After the loading was complete, Neseroth's body began to twist and expand, seemingly merging with the surrounding space. His form constantly flickered, alternating between clear and illusory.

'This will do for now. Once the Terraria Calamity Mod upgrade is complete, I can swap them out for even stronger genes.'

There are quite a few genuinely powerful genes in the Terraria Calamity Mod.

After the three Dragons fully absorbed the power of the genes, their wingspans reached an astonishing several thousand meters. They simultaneously roared to the heavens, their Dragon roars directly scattering the clouds in the sky.

Then, magical light appeared on the three giant Dragons, and their forms began to shrink, gradually transforming into human figures. As the light dissipated, three figures with faces identical to Ian's, but different temperaments, appeared before him.

Aeos, the Gold Dragon King avatar, was clad in heavy gold armor, etched with solar patterns. Glimmers like meteors decorated his red cape. His Dragon horns had transformed into a golden crown worn on his head, and his eyes shimmered with divine golden light, radiating a kingly aura.

Shangkes, the Shulker King avatar, wore a black robe. Eerie blue flames were faintly visible beneath the garment. A corrosive aura surged around him, causing living creatures to instinctively feel unease and want to keep their distance.

Neseroth, the End Dragon King, was the most peculiar. His body appeared incomplete to ordinary people because parts of him were hidden in other spaces. He looked intermittent and discontinuous, sometimes clear and sometimes illusory. Coupled with his unspeakable power, it was easy to mistake him for an Evil God.
