Synopsis
Lucien has been obsessed with Hunter x Hunter for years, but not the in the way normal fans are. While others admire Gon's purity and courage or Killua's coolness, Lucien was entranced by the mad elegance of Hisoka Morow. He rewatched every Hisoka scene countless times. His bedroom walls were plastered with Hisoka's posters, Even his ringing tone was Hisoka's laugh One night, while browsing fan forums, he received a strange email: *"Do you wish to live in the same world as your favorite character?* Attached was a short survey. He filled out the survey without hesitation even though he knew the risk. When options were given, he chose Hunter x Hunter and insisted on being related to Hisoka Marrow whose background is unknown. As this was a fictional world transmigration test, the system give Lucien what he wanted: an identity as Hsoka's younger brother. Although the threat of OOC punishment for interfering with the main plot was harsh, Lucien was very happy that he was about to meet his favorite character. When he finally meet Hisoka claiming to be his brother, the other party didn't take him seriously. Now he has to fight to seek Hisoka acknowledgment. Unfortunately, he isn't pure-hearted like Gon... he was just as crazy as Hisoka himself. Lucien:... I really want to mess up this damn plot!!!

Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: Transmigration went Wrong

Lucien is a crazy fan of Hunter x Hunter. It's one thing that he can count on to have some sort of bizarre idea of his character. Lucien always has this weird urge to be close to the guy who he could possibly change the entire universe together with.

Lucien is obsessed with Hisoka Morow, and evidence of that can be seen through his browsing history.

As someone who finds enjoyment from pain, Lucien finds Hisoka's character very relatable. He's an narcissistic, overconfident asshole in his own way that only appears cool during fights where he seems invincible. A bit of an ego freak and a bad person to mess around with . However, if you take all those traits into account...well, then there isn't much of a difference between Lucien and Hisoka. Both are complete jerks that love to manipulate for their own entertainment.

From the moment Hunter × Hunter began airing, Lucien had followed it closely. He'd memorized the dialogue, analyzed Hisoka's battles frame by frame, and even mimicked his smirk in the mirror until it looked perfect. Every time Hisoka appeared on screen, Lucien would replay the scene endlessly, captivated by that balance of playfulness and danger. There are things that Hisoka can get away with that he can't based on the difference between worlds' settings.

What most people call insanity, Lucien calls honesty. What's the use of pretending to be good? It's a waste of time and energy.

It's just a shame that as the series went on, Hisoka didn't have more scenes.

Lucien was currently scrolling through posts while arguing online with those who said Hunter x Hunter is not as good as Naruto and other anime of similar genre. His argument is so absurd that no one else could really argue him down. Some curse at him for being crazy and insane, then they log off.

"Beep"

A notification sounded, the mail he received was from a strange number. Curious, he opened the letter first, expecting a spam email or something similar. When he read what was written there, his eyes widened comically. 'Want to meet your favorite anime character? Want to travel to the world of your favorite anime world? Take the survey below and your wish will come true.'

Lucien reread that sentence multiple times making sure that he wasn't just seeing things. He almost laughed out loud from the irony of the situation. He knew that the letter was most likely a scam, but he wasn't going to miss such an opportunity. Besides he isn't afraid of risk, at worst, he would just install an antivirus to remove anything that might damage his data files if necessary.

The body of the message was just as short: We're conducting a closed beta for a cross-world migration protocol.

Destination: A fictional universe of your choosing.

Risk: Significant. Death may be permanent.

Disclaimer: Narrative contamination penalties may apply.

If interested click the green box to begin the survey!

After reading the info, he did what any sensible fanatic would do: he clicked the survey.

The survey open, there was only five question and he answer them quite easily:

Favorite character?: Hisoka Morow.

Desired world?: Hunter × Hunter.

Role preference?: Close proximity.

Warnings acknowledged?: Yes.

Do you fear death?: No

A follow-up form appears, telling him to state his top 3 favorite characters. He typed Hisoka Morow in all three spaces, then clicked submit. A while later, he received another mail from the same number. He clicked on it, feeling excited yet somewhat nervous.

Congratulations!!! Selection has been resolved. You will be integrated as the younger brother of Hisoka Morow. The transmigration pathway is in the testing phase. Death within the fictional world may result in permanent death.

There would be no assistance by the system whatsoever. The target character's past is classified. Social verification may be impossible. Avoid significant interference with the main plot. OOC Violations will be punished.

Check the green box if you agree with the terms.

Lucien is speechless. He stares blankly at the text before him. He didn't expect the process to be so simple.

The room lights up white in front of him and he feels the familiar feeling of floating upwards. As his eyes adjust to the sudden brightness, he realizes that he's inside a large transparent dome made of some kind of material that appears transparent, but when he looks through it, he sees nothing.

[Thanks for volunteering to be part of the transmigration experiment. Have a magical trip]

Then his vision fades into darkness.

...

After what felt like eternity, Lucien woke to blinding light assaulting his face and he groaned. His hand flies up to block the blinding light.

Only after his eyes adjusted did he find something was wrong. He stares at his hands blankly which look like a child's hands . His fingers were long and slender and his skin looked sickly pale.

He glances down at himself, finding that he was wearing a hospital gown of some sorts. Then he realized that his body felt very weak.

"What happened to me? Where am I? What's going on? "

He was expecting to wake up at the hunter exam where Hisoka first appears in the story , so he was taken aback when he found himself in a completely different place. 'What's the situation now?' Lucien thought as he tried to observe his surroundings.

"Subject Twelve is awake." A woman's voice sounded above him.

Hurry footsteps approached and a man wearing a mask leaned over looking in his eyes: "Pupil reaction is normal. Increase sedative by three milliliters."

Lucien was immediately hit with a sense of dizziness and nausea. He fought hard to resist succumbing to unconsciousness .

"We don't have time for gentle titrations. The buyer wants the batch tonight." The woman said impatiently.

"The buyer wants seven batches of our best quality tonight. Are you dumb? If we can't do this right, then it won't pay well either. And I still have a reputation to keep." The masked figure growled.

"What should we do then?"

The woman asked hesitantly. She thought about it and felt that the order was unreasonable, otherwise she wouldn't have backed down easily.

"Let's run a few more tests before drawing more blood." The man responded curtly. He took out an instrument that resembled an IV needle from his pocket. "You know what to do."

"Right." The woman nodded.

Lucien looks around the room. There were narrow pallets with rails beds lined against the wall. Children with thin bodies were lying on them. A nurse moved from bed to bed, drawing blood, changing needles, writing numbers on a clipboard with unlabeled columns.

A gloved hand slapped his cheek. "Look at me, Twelve."

Lucien turned his gaze lazily to the woman: "Do I need to look at you while you inject me?"

The woman glared at him with narrowed eyes: "You're not wrong. But how can I see the pain in your eyes if you're looking at me?" She said to the other man next to her: "Clamp his arm."

Another pair of hands gripped his forearm. He flinched as the sharp point poked in the vein, causing him to let out a small whimper.

Lucien didn't have any other reaction after except for the surprise whimper. The woman frown and look at her companion, the man was also confuse. They look at the result on the machine and sighed. "I don't understand why. We've tested the serum many times and every time it's the same. This is impossible."

"Let's use the suppressor next," the woman said: "We should also test his reaction to Compound C, then to the stimulus."

"Isn't that a bit too much?"

"What are you afraid of?" The woman sneered.

The man nodded and left to get Compound C.

Lucien weighed his current situation and wrestled the impulse to laugh.

Even if the transmigration system was still in the testing phase, this is a bit too much. The system actually sent him outside of the story line, to some underground clinic that used children's blood to make drugs.

This must be some sort of weird joke.

He has to find a way to get out of this place before heading to the hunter exam.
