"Yep! You're favorite Watcher here!" She said while winking and holding up piece signs. "Sorry for being so rude the other day, I was having a horrible day yesterday." Koto stared at her, 'what in the world is this girl on?' He thought, then sighed. "It's fine, just don't bad mouth Scirety and we'll be good."
Then the teacher clapped, "Alright class is starting take your seats. Today we'll be learning about the Sage and Pet Economic Collapse." He sat down with his best friend in a three-chair desk, then Myokyi sat with them.
"Are your classes always this boring? I want to leave!" Myokyi whispered in an annoyed voice. Koto looked at her, "Yes they're always this boring. And for your leaving thing, yes you can probably leave since I don't think you're even a registered student." Then it was almost as if Myokyi's brain suddenly turned on. "You're right I'm not a registered student I can just leave!" She suddenly stood up interrupting the class and grabbed Koto's arm dragging him with her to the door. "I'm not a registered student here so I'll be leaving now! I'll also be taking Koto with me so bye~!"
Koto looked at her horrified, "I appreciate you taking me away from my prison, but my perfect attendance record will be ruin-" She puts her finger on his lip and looks at him with a cheeky smile, "Don't even worry about, I've got it covered."
Myokyi led him into an alleyway, "Right here. Just-just give it a moment." They stood there for a bit, then Myokyi suddenly freaked out and slammed her head into a wall, "I forgot which wall it was!" She starts pushing on random walls in the alleyway, eventually pushing a wall open and falling over, but Koto catches her. "Be careful Ms. Happy little sunshine, don't just throw your entire weight onto a wall." She snarked, "Oh shut up and just follow me."
They walked into an elevator, then Myokyi took off her coat and threw it on Koto, "Wear this or our security systems will fry you." The elevator door opened, and a scanner scanned them, then it turned green and turned off letting them pass. As they walked through the halls people stared at them, mostly at Myokyi, for some reason most of them stared at her even though it seemed as if she's been here for a while and no one stared at him. He then felt a shake in his backpack, "Hey Myokyi, do you think Scirety can come out here?" Myokyi glanced at him and shrugged, "I'm not the boss here, you'd have to ask him. Or her, I don't know which one of them is currently here. Who knows, maybe it's both of them today."
They kept on walking, the base wasn't anything out of this world, it looked like your average hotel but with exclusively workers and no guests besides him. Then they walked into a room that was empty, after a couple seconds in there Myokyi sighed, "I guess the boss isn't here today. Wanna go kill some Pets for fun?" She said her eyes sparkling. Koto shuddered, "Excuse me?" She laughed maniacally, "Calm down, I meant the more violent ones. The ones that cause death and suffering, know what I mean?" They stared at each other for a hard second.
He suddenly found himself watching a happy little sunshine of a girl that's batshit insane ripping through hordes of rats as she fought a Giant cat with rocks sticking out of it, its fur being made out of rats and threw up a bunch of adolescent and infant rats that were massive; the infant rats being controlled by fungi that its saliva emitted. And how is she ripping through these hordes that it kept on throwing up? Well, her power is bookmark, and she can use anything that she's put a bookmark on with excellence if she's also put a bookmark in a book, she's fully read about the subject she's using. She can also use bookmarks as daggers, but she doesn't do that much. She's currently using a flamethrower to burn through the hordes, which isn't very proficient since she's barely 20 pages into a book about flamethrowers, but she likes the struggle.
Then someone spoke in a calm manner from behind him, "I guess some things never change. She'll never stop being crazy." An old sounding voice said from besides him, he looked to his left and saw no one, then he looked a little further down and saw someone that looked the size of a dwarf. "Sir, do you need us to take you back to the retirement home?" Then old man kicked him in the ankle with as much force as a body building, "DAMN! That hurt old man!" The old guy rolled his eyes and looked at him, "I'm your boss so treat me with respect." He looked at the old geezer, "Boss? But I don't have a-" The old man cut him off, "You're hired. I only had to see you to know I want you to join us."
Scirety ran up to the from wherever he was exploring and hopped on Koto's shoulder, then meowed urgently, while looking at where he came from just now. Myokyi finished killing the Mouse Control Pet as Koto turned to see what Scirety was trying to get his attention to, he then yelled, "Speedy Grandma!" Myokyi turned to him, "Don't you mean Turbo Granny? Also, why'd you suddenly yell the name of a Japanese legend- Never mind makes plenty of sense!" An old lady that was running as fast as a formula one car was running at them from afar yet to reach them. Myokyi stands next to Koto, then makes a sniper rifle appear in her hands, "Nice, random weapon out of nowhere lovely." Koto said as Myokyi took aim and fired. The old grandma easily dodging the shot. "Were done for," Myokyi says while looking at Koto. Koto looks back at her, "Excuse me you have more shots."
Myokyi pulls the trigger at him and no bullet comes out. "Never mind, we are in fact done for." The old man clears his throat. "Oh, hi boss! Pls take my limitations off! I need my full power-" The old man cut her off, "Nah, these old bones have got this." Gun barrels popped out of his fingers as they shot at Turbo Granny, after a couple of seconds the old hag toppling over and dying. "What in the world-" Myokyi cut him off, "That's what happens when you consume a Pet. He's actually consumed 5, the known max amount before going crazy."
He looked at her, "So you're not just a Watcher, you've also consumed 6 Pets?" She glares at him and slaps him in the face. He grunts in pain and holds his cheek, "Worth it." She rolls her eyes.
The boss then turns to them, "Boy, we haven't seen your skills yet. We're going to go after the most aggressive sage, speaking of, they're attacking the city right now." The old man said right before 6 separate skyscrapers fell.
