Kael floated in an endless void, thinking about his new life as a god. He drifted in a relaxed pose, hands behind his head, completely at ease.
A flood of thoughts filled his mind, all the dreams and fantasies left unfulfilled in his mortal life. Maybe now was the time to finally fulfill them.
Then he remembered his stepmother and stepsister.
"Oh yeah," he murmured to the emptiness. "I can bring Clara and Liana along."
The thought quickly turned into a plan. They were probably still grieving his death, and the idea of seeing them again felt like the perfect way to begin his new existence.
But first, Kael granted himself a lot of skills. He began finding and crafting, pulling from memories, fantasies, and desires, searching through countless worlds, even those based on anime and TV shows. He tracked past and present timelines and created a single realm where he would stay, while experiencing everything at once.
"Now it's time to bring my step-mother and step-sis back," Kael said with a lewd grin.

Back on Earth, two women stood together in the quiet cemetery.
The mother, a woman with striking black hair and deep blue eyes, stood with a solemn grace.
Beside her, her daughter had inherited the same dark hair and piercing blue eyes. Dressed in identical black mourning dresses, their faces were pale and shadowed with sorrow.
The daughter looked down, hands shaking as she gripped the fabric of her skirt. Her mother placed a comforting hand on her shoulder.
She spoke softly to the memory of the one they had lost.
"I hope you're happy... wherever you are, Step Brother..." she whispered, voice trembling.
Clara comforted her daughter."We will always miss you, Kael."
From the void, Kael watched them, his heart tightening. They still love me…
He appeared silently behind them, a soft glow surrounding him.
Clara looked up first, eyes wide. "Kael…?"
He smiled gently. "Did you miss me?"
For a moment, they could only stare before rushing toward him, tears spilling down their faces. But disbelief followed, their minds struggling to understand how he could stand there, alive.
Kael reached out, touching their hands. "Don't be afraid. I'm not dead. I've become something else… a god."
The cemetery melted away, replaced by a bright, elegant chamber filled with golden light.
He helped them sit on a soft bed and told them everything, how he had died saving a little girl, met a god, and been reborn as one himself.
Liana cried into his chest. "Why did you die for that girl? Didn't you think about us?"
Kael stroked her hair gently. "I did. That's why I came back, to bring you both with me."
Clara's tears slowed, replaced by awe. "You've truly become a god?"
Kael nodded. Then, with a snap of his fingers, their black mourning dresses transformed into beautiful wedding gowns, befitting brides.
They gasped, their hands flying to their mouths as they looked down at the beautiful white fabrics now adorning their bodies.
In that moment, a shared understanding passed between them. Kael was a god now. The rules of Earth, its laws and its judgments, no longer applied to them.
Two rings appeared in Kael's hand. He knelt before them where they sat on the edge of the large bed.
"Will you marry me?" he asked, his voice sincere.
His stepmom and stepsister were already deeply in love with him. Only his father, who rarely came home, didn't know about their relationship. Kael had already planned to marry them once he turned eighteen, so his current proposal simply made their dreams official.
The mother and daughter looked at Kael, then at each other, before they both shyly nodded. "We will," they whispered in unison.
Soon after the vows were exchanged, their honeymoon began. The room was vast, dominated by a massive bed.
Kael preferred a simple lifestyle, so the space was not overly decorated, but it was comfortable. He had plans, after all, plans to soon fill this entire world.
The three of them spent what felt like weeks in that timeless bedroom, wrapped in each other. Every moment was filled with tender embraces, whispered promises, and the joy of being together again. They laughed, they cried, and they celebrated their reunion and new, unbreakable bond.
Afterward, a profound calm settled over them. Kael guided Clara and Liana through his realm, showing them endless skies and shimmering, silent lakes. They shared peaceful talks that lasted for hours and quiet walks through dreamlike gardens. Their evenings were spent watching unfamiliar stars from the balcony of their new home.
In those gentle, endless days, their hearts grew closer.
Between long, loving moments, he explained everything: the avatars he'd sent to a thousand worlds.
"We're in, forever." They both agreed to Kael's suggestion. He even offered to let them join the fun with his other world adventures later. But for now, he wanted to spend more time with them.
Although he could watch his avatars in other worlds, he wasn't actively controlling them. Those avatars didn't even know they were copies. He would only absorb their memories once their lives ended. Until then, he could only watch their lives unfold, like a long-running series.
The reason he created them in such a way was due to an incident in another world. When he visited, his godly powers were useless there. The guardian of that world confronted him. She told him to leave, but offered a deal: she would let his avatar live if he agreed to go on a date with her.
Kael agreed to the terms they set. She gave him a deadline of one thousand years. If he didn't return in time, she would kill his avatar.
Kael agreed outwardly, but in his heart, he had already decided. He would never leave his domain again. The experience of suddenly becoming powerless was far too dangerous.
Eventually, Kael settled deep into the plush sofa, Clara and Liana curled against him on either side, still in their wedding gowns, veils framing their happy faces. His arms rested around them possessively.
Both women held bowls of popcorn.
"Are you ready to watch Kael's adventure?" Kael asked.
They both nodded eagerly.
He had given them everything: immortality, his love. What more could they need? A massive screen flickered to life before them, as if they were in a private theater, and the show began.
